New Firmware XXKD1 - Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 Development

Who is ready to test it ?
http://hotfile.com/dl/124910734/b1b2e83/I8700XXKD1.rar.html

Thanks, where did you find it?
Downloading as we speak, if it finishes in reasonable time, I will take a look at what it contains (SYS build).
Are there any CSCs at it, or is it just eboot (aka SPL) and PDA (aka IMGFS)?
Aaaaand, is there any password to it (samfirmware.com?)

Hmm this seems like a TEST ROM, as it is signed to WP7_ENGINEER
And it is 7392 ROM.

do you flash your phone?
all working good?

I have read elsewhere that it doesn't work on retail devices. it just says that the phone is not compatible or something like that, and then the omnia reboots.

Yeah I think so. I don't have my Omnia yet, but I think that retail devices can't flash this ROM.

As a matter of fact : it doesn't work...

Can someone get us this update from HP iPAQ hw6515
:?: 8) :?:
i cannot see a link to download for this bluetooth build, but this link is a start i think
http://qualweb.bluetooth.org/Templa...=QualifiedProducts&Details=Yes&ProductID=1976
we can extract this stack from hw6515 ROM. But we need its ROM at first.
Will the rom dump tool work on this device? Someone on Howardforums has one, could ask him to run it if it does
i tried BroadcomCorp_BT1.6.0.600.cab and it didnt work on my sx66 so this probably wont work.
I put on 1.6.0.700 and it disabled my CDMA radio. bluetooth worked, but couldn't use the phone.

Radio?

Hello good people, before you come after me with burning torches and pitchforks for not using the search function, i have used the search function but couldn't find my answer anywhere. Some time ago i flash my radio to some newer version, but it's kinda buggy. I have some missed calls but now that i have the TNT rom, i really want radio 02.19.11
So, where can i get it, and how do i flash it? (I'm using Vista x64, and yes i can flash roms with Vista x64)
/edit: I have found the right radio ROM, but i can't flash it because the ROMupdater crashes (probably due to Vista)...is there a workaround for this?
Hehehehehehe
Here we go again....

experts, do an investigation pls
Excellent monx® ..
These things are dangerous and are losing a lot of time to developers of HardSPL.
how would you go about testing this? Use the custom RUU and sub in the file? Obviously i am NOT an expert

Check your insurance is up to date, run it, ring insurers and get a new phone.
If TOPAZ SSPL worked, we wouldn't be waiting for cmonex and Olipro would we ?
Dave

What would happen

whatwould happen to my G1 if I flashed the wrong ROM for my Mobo (32a, 32b)
i would imagine it wouldn't boot, i don't think it would brick the phone as long as it didn't have a radio or spl update in it.
Can I check if it has those updates in the zip file ?
you can open it and you will be able to tell if there is a radio in it, because it will have a file called radio.img most likely. or it will be 10 or so mbs bigger then you would think it to be. i have not seen a rom that does an spl update, so i would not be able to tell what to look for with it.
eVil HeRo
this is the ROM is want to try.
I check the zip file and it only has an boot.img as far as I can tell.
So I should be ok to try.
i can't see where it would mess up your phone, but i do not know how well it will run on the g1 since it looks like it was made for a phone that doesn't have to deal with sliding open.
It will cause global warming.
yes and it will most likely start a war in some 3rd world countries.
This squirrel will freeze to death.

Question RE Original Shipping Tutorial

This question got asked in the [ROM] Original Shipping - Tutorial but no one answered; I guess because there's such low traffic in that thread.
Anyway, is there any incompatibility with radios etc by going to the image from ANY version of Android?
Here's the version I have:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Just want to make sure I'm not going to brick it or anything, with all the radio updates I've installed.
Especially since the image is taking *forever* to download (literally, total of 25 minutes so far).
[Edit]: Nevermind, I ran through it and no problems! I'm back to stock! 2.1, ERD79, and everything
