Just for the record, The knife in this picture has a grey titanium handle. Clearly this phone is not titanium grey. I do also realize that the colors in this photo are severely messed up. That what you get when you take a picture with an htc rezound.

Getting the black one for the Titanium Grey. Showed my boss who has a white marble one and he'll get the matching white case.
@john, I am sure the color names are just for marketing purposes. Titanium Grey sounds so much better than say, Plain Grey or Pencil Lead Grey.

I hope they come out with an Outland color. If not I will get the black for my Titanium Grey N2. I am glad they changed the look. I hated bring asked "Oh you got an iPhone?" with the Outland on my GS3 untill they looked closely.

No offense but who cares? Way I see it. ..The company getting a free press and advertisement to create more hype. If I was the ceo of the company, I would leak it right before the launch, so the public knows to save their money towards my product.
Anyways, I like the black one too. But the white looks good too. Damn it!

Oh also, just realized that the front screen lip is black. So I guess it doesn't matter which color to go with this time. I like the darker frame of the device.

Hmmm, looking at the pic i can't see the nipple by the speaker that black version received... I guess sound travels better through white? Excited about new version of android. I am still holding hope for 32 GBs with LTE.

You sure about that? Zoom into it as much as you can. I can see two little nipples..one on each edge just like my black nexus. I could be wrong, but I def see something.

My guess is that since no new android version wasn't announced. There won't be any new features per say. My guess is well get 4.2.3 with bug fixes and the new Bluetooth stuff. I can't imagine anything more than that

Well, 4.3 is rolling out in the next month or two. I think that is pretty clear based on all the leaks (and server logs). It will probably be mostly under the hood changes but I'm sure there will be some minor UI changes as well.

LTE would be nice and I'm good with 8GB. Unlimited data helps tons I'm down to maybe 3gbs (apps, a backup, ROM backup)...so lte would be perfect. oh well...hopefully the N5 will be my perfect device.

Lucky bastard.
I bought an Active on 8/9, and by 8/13 I was in an AT&T store replacing it with a new Active. That Active only lasted until 8/16. Worst part was that I was on vacation the whole time and unable to use my phone during a 17 hour drive home from Florida. The memory card still works but I'm done with Samsung's poor quality control. This isn't the first poorly made Samsung I've owned or had issues with, but it will be my last.

I have returned an Active with MF1 and they didn't notice the difference.. .why do you need MF3 to test?
EDIT didnt read fully lol, why do you need MF3 anyways, it doesn't seem different and there's no update in sight
Yeah... I am on my 4th active... and I have to replace this one for dead pixels :-/

Just because this phone isn't popular doesn't mean Samsung won't update it. Hell they send updates out for the rugby and the other oddball Samsung phones that att has. I am thinking we will at least get 4.3 when the original s4 does which is slated for next month.

sure but my point is why worry about something that doesn't have an available update yet? Usually leaks happen before updates are even released OTA. I would wait until we have a 4.3 update to see if we can get it somehow or if there is an odin flash or what. I am sure we will have a way soon... just hold on you may not be able to upgrade the MF3 but probably other releases.

Samsung's official statement on the matter says that

I went with white face, blue back and the orange trim. I'm a Hugh Broncos fan, so match up pretty well. I have to say having the option to chose so much makes this phone so much better. I'll post picks on Monday once I get it!! Can't wait.

I'm probably not going to get a Moto X but if I did I'd totally get some sort of wood flavor. The phone is absolutely gorgeous with a wood back either dark or light. It's so temping though. I'm trying to hold out for either the LG G2 or maybe a Note 3. idk. I have a Optimus G Pro and totally love the large screen. I've also been playing with a S4 Active but I don't think I could go back to anything smaller than 5" screen. But ya... if i did... WOOD!

Canada already has the Moto X. and no, they are not using the Moto Maker. only those who were pre-invited by AT&T on the 19th were able to get their MotoX customized. those should be arriving today/tomorrow for those few lucky...

Yeah, but after using the flex for a while going back to the note 2 makes the screen seem wider in the middle then the top and bottom.
The flex feels like 36,24,36.
The note2 now feels like 36,45,36.

I kinda miss my note 2. Right before i left Verizon and my sammy the development was getting super sick! The devs over there were just friggin good! I found a replacement screen/digitizer on eBay that looks like it had no LG branding on the front bottom. It's 114 some odd bucks. Mines not broken, but it would be nice to know if is genuine AND makes the front super sexy.

When 4.3 hit a lot of people took the update which locked the phone down. Before that bootloader was wide open and there were a ton of just badass roms and kernels to play with. New roms dropped almost daily for a while there. At this point I would just like to flash anything! Its been months. I've got the shakes.

Yeah, luckily I'm the type who doesn't make decisions without reason, so I didn't take the update until news about it came out. Unfortunately since I have Verizon the bootloader is still locked for me, the Casual exploit falsely unlocked the bootloader, meaning it said "successful" and when I updated recovery it still brought me the "Unauthorized Software...take to nearest Verizon store" error, 3 separate times after restoring to stock, so I gave up. Idk what's up with my damb phone.
Enough of my problems, as far as yours goes, you can fix it with a jtag (Riffbox, $150), although you'd have to make an investment on that or send it to an expert (I've seen $30 offers). Other than that, with specifically the Note2 you can trip a resistor with a piece of solder to tell cpu to load bootloader from SD card, you can find that around the forums on here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49611038). Those are the only two methods. :thumbup:

My snooping girlfriend checks the browsing history from time to time. She claims that she is only looking because she can't remember a site she visited earlier. Sometimes I delete all XDA history and Tube 8. I have been more embarrassed by the amount of times I have visited XDA than porn. At least she understands why I watch porn on occasion. I never use facebook
