Question Output volume sounds like under water! - Vivo X70 Pro+

Hi, using x70 Pro+ Indian version. FunTouchOS PD2145F_EX_A_36.9.3
sometimes my output volume sounds odd. Looks like the playback speed is slow.
Does anyone having the same problem?
Kindly help. Thanks!
edit: after a restart the problem goes away, after few hours still appears.

The same. You don't really notice on random media like WhatsApp videos until you start listening to the music you like and its pretty awkward. Guess this is another bug, and they fix this in the next update
Build: PD2145F_EX_A_36.9.5

[Q] Nexus 6 Speaker Issues

I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem with their speakers on the Nexus 6 when receiving calls or messages?
Randomly my ringtones & notifications come in crackling as if the speakers are blown. It doesn't happen much but it's kinda annoying. I think the speakers are fine because playing music or watching videos at max volume sounds great.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated
I have also had this issue. I'm running stock rooted with no mods. Would like to hear If anyone else is having this issue as well. Also would this issue be addressed in the new 5.0.1 update?
I am having issues hearing the conversion tone when sending or receiving messages via WhatsApp. The notification rings but within a chat it doesn't play any sound. Is this happening to anyone else? It's driving me crazy.
Same thing here. Especially with FB Messenger.
There definitely seems to be some static or degradation on some of the notification sounds and ringtones. I noticed the same thing.
I think it has an overactive EQ/Preamp type of ordeal going on. I think there is some sort of software built in that is trying to act like a DSP to save the speakers. For Example just turn up your volume to max and keep hitting the up volume. You will probably notice the volume beep will change volume several times throughout that. it will also be noticeable when playing music.
I have also noticed some strange crackling that I never had on previous Nexus devices. I am certain it is software and hope for an update to resolved it. I also noticed that many of the things going through the speakers slowly get louder. For instance, hit the speakerphone button while in a call and it starts at like 50% volume and goes to max in about 5 seconds. Kind of a strange fade up that I haven't had before...

I also noticed the gradual increase in volume on everything including alarms. Glad it's a common issue that will hopefully be addressed in a future software update.
Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I am having an issue with the stereo speakers on my Nexus 6. Every time I listen to music, watch a you tube video or watch a movie on my nexus 6 device, I notice that when I put it on maximum volume it will get loud then suddenly drop down to between 30 to 50%. I'm not sure what is the deal with that, but I can tell you its freaking annoying. Also been having issues with the fade in as well.
Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Sorry, I haven't had that problem. Since updating to 5.0.1 I've noticed that my original problem hasn't been happening for calls or alarms. It still does happen with the clock app though. What version are you on?
Ever since i updated to 5.0.1

anyone had this issue sorted yet. today i noticed while using speaker phone there is a static sound and low voice volume any ideas
Viper did not fix the issue
I'm thinking its hardware as I have tried stock and benzo ROM. Nothing seems to fix my low volume issue
Mine does this after flashing kernels or roms sometimes. A clean flash back to stock then reflash rom/kernal with extreme beats fixes it. I've had 3 nexus 6s and they all did this. Even when I flash stock image it don't sound quite right until I flash extreme beats 4.1. Viper has only caused problems for me.
Crackle is noticeable
I noticed the crackle sound straight out of the box simply by testing out some ringtones. This had me disappointed but even worse if I start to think I got a defective unit. It's weird because the problem does not happen very often and it's an issue that I can't demonstrate so easily, but it's there. Reading this post about people having the same problems makes me believe that there could be a update or software solution. By the way, playing music sounds great, the thing happens mostly with game sounds and ringtones.

Speaker playback i.e youtube and notifications issue

evening all i have found two strange issues that i haven't resolved through the usually settings checks and tinkering, both issues are related to notifications and i think they are one in the same. when watching YouTube videos if a notification comes in during the video (in full screen mode) the video volume drops as expected for a split second so you know you have a notification however the sound never returns the the same level it remains very quiet? even when turning the volume up and down and back up again its still reduced somehow? if you exit YouTube and go back in to a video it works as normal at normal volume levels until another notification comes in. this is very frustrating and i am not sure how to stop this?
has anyone got any suggestions?
secondly i think this is related to the above but when listening to music (both via earphone or loudspeaker) when a notification comes in it stops the music and does not reestablish it? i am using poweramp as my music app and the only way to start the music again is to unlock phone and start the app? (not good when driving).
again both would seem to be related but i can not find a way to stop the above? if anyone can shed any light please let me know whilst i continue searching, thanks in advance.

[Bug] App sounds stop when intrrupted by a notification.

Hey guys, first time poster here.
Got my P9 the other day, very impressed compared to my old LG G3.
Recently I've noticed however, when running a game, such as "Pokemon Go" or "Fallout Shelter", it runs completely fine and smoothly full sound, etc. up until it's interrupted by a notification by another app.
I.E:
>Playing "Fallout Shelter".
>Get a pop-up notification from Facebook/whatsapp.
>Sound from app running stops and won't start again.
>Try backgrounding "Fallout Shelter" and coming back to it, still no sounds.
>Force stop/quit "Fallout shelter"
>Open/run "Fallout Shelter" again, sounds are working again.
>Get a pop-up notification from Facebook/whatsapp.
>Sound from app running stops and won't start again.
>Repeat.
Not so much a life changing issue, but really rather annoying. I'm assuming this is a software bug, as I've had no issue with this on any of my other devices. Is anyone else having the same issue?
If so, does anyone have any solutions?
Kind regards,
Jake
Same here, sadly I have not found a solution jet

Yep same issue here. Get a text message while playing Pokemon Go and poof, no more music or app sounds until it is quit and re-opened again. Wish these bugs were addressed as they're pretty blatant and annoying.
What about Piano Tiles 2? Sound is totally muffled and of low quality. Anyone experiencing the same problem? It's like Huawei p9 can't play two audios at the same time.
Nothing was fixed so far, right?
Okay guys, I found a small work-around. It is not really convenient but it could solve the issue for you:
There is an app called Volume Control: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=netroken.android.persistfree
and in the app you have the chance to lock certain volumes, like that of notifications, alarms, ringer AND media!
Media was the important one. So it will play your music or apps on the same volume level even if notifications come in. That is not the best solution as you might miss notifications and calls might sound strange with both volumes on max. Anyway, maybe that helps...

static/hissing noise using earphones

i notice some kind of static/hissing noise when rotating to horizontal fullscreen and going back to portrait in almost any app most noticeable in youtube where i pause the video and then rotate its like .5sec short sound of static/hissing noise not that loud but enough to hear it. i use earphones. i dont notice it on speaker. is this bug from software? Im on global stable 11.0.6. thanks
I thought it happened to me only. And doubted if it was software or hardware issue. Now I can confirm it is software error since it also happens to you. I hope Xiaomi admit and fix that error very soon with upcoming update. It is so annoying since I listen music a lot and play game with headphones on almost every time.
Yes i feel some noise too
i thought im the only one too because i cant find forums or thread about it during my search. it seems that its a software bug. im hoping they fixed it in android 10 update. i also noticed it when i fast forward video and its buffering theres a short hiss sound. are you both in global rom?

Sound volume get reduced without changing the bar

For the last few days when I enter youtube with the volume at max. By itself the volume gets down.
When I look at the volume bar it is still at max but the sounds it is low.
I need to put all down and up again to return but them after few moments the volume get down.
This happen with the speaker
Battery is good.
Anyone is experiencing something similar?
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the help
Hi there,i found the same problem on my pro as well, after tried everything i could do from google and also Chinese huawei community(Dolby Atmos setting, reset setting etc),the problem is still there,so i return the phone to the shop(still in 2yrs warranty),and after 10 days, they told me the speaker is fine, they cant find any problem from the speaker,so i send them 2 videos today to prove that happen randomly, then they said they will check again, and judge by the complain from Chinese huawei community, its not just p30 pro's problem, could happen to any huawei phone(p20,honour etc),and some people guess that problem is probably because the software is not fully compatible with huawei system, look like its a Small probability event(only found near 100 cases in Chinese huawei community and the earliest case i could find is nearly June 2019),so huawei hasnt take it seriously.
Yes that's a problem a lot of people have. I had this since i got the phone Emui 9.1 ,Emui 10 still it's here after all those updates. I don't know if they will fix it in the future updates. It's not a problem but it's more like an annoying thing to have
I found too a small delay to play audio
When I use some app that play shorts audios, I noticied it cuts the beginning of audio
To resolve this I just let playing background music
About the slow volume I tried everything. No solution. There is a app that increase volume booster goodev and it is horrible but it helps a little beat vlbut the sound become very bad quality ( I dont know the term in english but the sounds get strange)
The support of my phone said to me to hard reset
No way I am going to do this
I thought it was some other app issue, I removed several recent apps but no success at all
It is a really annoying problem to.me, to the point where I cannot understand a YouTube video on the speaker
I hope they fixed this one day.
Thanks for replies, It is good to know that I am not on this alone
