First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to Arc/S another ROM:
- Make sure you're running bootloaders unlocked
-Flash the Boot.img provided (Don't flash other boot.img because is different)
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
-Reboot to recovery
- Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

For me it's working fine. It took some time to boot up but it booted and now I'm in recovery flashing rom. Will report back
Edit:
After flashing rom and updating all apps it seems running as smooth as cm10 4.1.2. Even much smoother than my currently installed cm10 but in cm10 I have >50 apps installed.
Bugs I've noticed:
- Camera (obviously) but there is Legacy Camera
- Legacy Camera is upside down
- If we turn off Power Widgets by CM settings they are back after switching to build in Power Widgets and back.
- Button Leds are sooooo bright ...

I come from i9003 forum, were generosity was the key. i9003 is a crappy phone, but we did a lot of great things (cm7, cm9, cm10...) buying phones. Yes, the thing is... I want an stable version of whatever. A great developer wants to help and doesn't own a phone. We start donating 3$ each one, whatever, how much u are able to and he buys a phone to develope it. There were donations of 1$ and donations of 5$
For example, we donated for a i9003 for DoomLord, who made a great GB for our device (thank u DoomLord) or dhiru, who builded a perfect cm10 from zero.
I think this guy needs a phone, to make things quicker and better. A second hand arc musn't be very expensive. On the other side, think about this: he is making efforts with sense porting and 4.2 for free, I think he deserves a phone. I could manage all the project if u want.
Think about it, great community. If he does that without phone, imagine if he does with one...

How to Enable ART
(Note that ART is experimental at this point)
Go to Settings, Developer Options, Select Runtime and choose Use ART.
If prompted with a CyanogenMod disclaimer pop-up, tap OK to proceed with the ART conversion.
System will reboot. The reboot (including "Optimizing Apps") will take a LONG time as the system
converts to ART, so be patient

Here is my review on Lightning Speed Stable V3.
Wipe Data/Fact Reset, Cleared Cache and Dalvik, Formatted data, cache, system, SDCARD and Flashed V3 and gapps through CWM 6.0.4.5.
1) Booted Fine.
2) Initial Setup worked without issues.
3) No FCs (very important)
4) 3g and Wi-Fi hotspot worked.
5) Active Display Worked great.
6) Camera worked. (have the option of setting the location as internal/sdcard. Nice.)
7) Floating Multi Windows Worked great.(needed to install xposed framework from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1574401) Bubble launcher say's will expire in 10 days. May have to setup app bar via xblast tools.
8) Pie Control worked great.
Screen recorder is missing.
Overall nice ROM.

Secondly, don't take me wrong, but u should try ur rom first before proceeding, weather it's working or not.. Else no one will respect u n take ur work seriously.. Bugs r normal but it should bootable at least.. U must created the thread thereafter only..

Its completely perfect.
Zero bugs.
Excellent battery backup.
Problem is we ask permission from umaang to upload it and agreed to give him full credits.
But he is not agreed.
He said he'll port and upload it.
So we can't upload. We respect other developers work.so can't upload it.
You have to wait for umaangs link.
But trust me its worth waiting.
Its the best rom for m2

Installation instructions
Installing Mahdi-Rom for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project - WITH SELINUX SUPPORT!
- Copy GApps and ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash Mahdi-Rom zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Copy the ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash the ROM zip from SDCard
- Reboot

if someone got a problem with root, try edit this line in build.prop :
persist.sys.root_access=3
change value to 1

i just this app "Capacitive Buttons" got it from Play store. it work on my Arc S.

have some questions: didn't understand where is the file manager? and maybe some advices to reduce batt consumption - it's very aggressive with 3g mode.

Noticed bugs: sometimes the camera does not open, and can not open it on the hard button (maybe this is bug CM11?) - When opened it works well; Several times stop/crashes phone dialer; Strange auto brightness, adjustable, but can't reach perfect.

This is very-very Good ROM, it comes with build-in kernel (modified by author). So it's pretty good and stable. :good:

but build-in kernel (modified by author) in zip file not working!!!
my phone is xperia ray and installed this rom and I had the same problem so used the carbon roms kernel!!! but in xperia arecs carbon roms kernel not working on this rom!
In general, i could not install the ROM 4.4.4 on xperia arcs phone! because Not find a suitable kernel!!!

download problem
I lost about 1 Gigabyte in trying download the ROM but every time I download I get nothing . I tried almost all browsers and tried it from my phone and PC with no data downloaded. It keeps giving me unknown size for the file but it consumes my internet package.. I appreciate if u help .. Thanks in advance

use adm(advanced download manager) or loader droid download manager in mobile or idm(internet download manager) in pc to download if it works then good otherwise i will make mirrors for this rom
