My gionee m2 8gb rom model
Problem_ bootloop for weeks
Root status- was rooted by kingo root through internet and pc, the phone worked well aftr rooting for 3 mnths
My bad luck there was no custom recovery, i installed..
And week ago, it was sudden stuck in bootloop
Very First i tried, volume+ and powr, data wipe n factory reset, several times..
bt it dont worked
Then i decided to flash stock rom,
I hv all necessary drivers in pc,
Hv latest sp f tool, n mtk
I flashed m2 8g jb rom
On sp flsh tool, just download n flash, 100% flashed,
bt did nt worked, even after factory reset n data wipe..
Then i throught its the super su,
so i flashed, Formate all and dowload, but still nt working
I flashed kk 8g rom, all way through sp tool, bt no result
Then frustrated, i brought new gionee m2 phone, and by mtk droid tools, i made cwm recovery on new phone without rooting it,
i made its firmware backup by mtk,
NOW I FLASHED, this stock rom (i flash to file) from mtk droid tools backup, to my soft bricked, old gionee m2..
But no result..
Friends i tried every thing, one more thing, i would share.. when i connect my dead phone to mtk, i came to now tht my IMEI, NVRAM are gone corrupted..
Today ws about to try android imei an SN writer tools, to reflash imei n nv ram
but got the lucky charm Ravi dada.. And the group gionee m2..
Thts all bhai, now needing, suggestion, step by step link, and what to download further..
The things that i hv with me is.
Hp laptop, windows 7,
A working new unrooted gionee m2 with cwm
A soft bricked gionee m2
And 3 gb of fast 3g internet..
Help please..
Please, describe in detail the bootloop being referred to here. Also, did you do a firmware upgrade in Spflash tool?
Just go to service center , they will fix it , don't worry about root

Sure, you can flash phone again with G.O.T 2.2.1 by RDS Lite , or fresh leak . Milestone is hard to Brick , so don't worry , you flash again and you can start all over again.
You can flash back to your stock ROM. There's a guide and a link for you to choose the correct .sbf and bootloader. I've tried flashing my friend's Milestone many times and it still works.. I even face a problem where the touchscreen is not working after flashing a kernel...

Make the bin files on your own (without CWM injection). You can find the how to in my Noob Thread. First make a Factory reset then, flash with Smartflash, boot it up, make another factory reset (best would be including SD cart), just to really get rid of all the data, which might tell them, that your phone has been rooted and I think that's basically it Just make sure, there is nothing on your SD card anymore, as well and you cannot reboot to recovery anymore and there are nomore superuser rights on your phone.
I think there's no need for leaving the SD Card inside the phone..
They don't need your SD Card inside your phone in order to repair it.
easier, flash it with smartflashtool and restore your imei

after smartflash you can be sure will be ok if you flash stock rom from your carrier :good:
wenever i do factory reset after initial LG logo the below attached image comes up (jst d background of the image no text) nd after that lg animation.....
is it ok??
If it's only the text, it should be fine. Just download quickboot and try to reboot to recovery. If it works, you need to flash again, if not, everything is fine
My Phone is Samsung GT-S5302 ( Galaxy Y Duos Lite ) .
I recently rooted my phone without any trouble.. And then moved on to install a custom rom.
But the rom i downloaded was for another Galaxy y and not my same version..
When it was installed, camera, wifi, settings, practically everything didnt work.. couldnt call.. and no play store installed. The WORST part is my usb storage nor my external memory card is being detected on my phone or on pc..
Before installing the custom rom , i read to backup the stock rom in case of situations like this.. But When i used rom manager it said no cwm mode available for your device .. and i couldnt make a backup. NO STOCK ROM BACKUP :/
Thinking the custom rom would work, i installed it anyway.. and this happens..
I checked the other threads here.. and then tried to reinstall the stock rom.. I searched for a stock rom for my model and downloaded one which i think is the right one..
I went to download mode on my phone and flashed the stock rom that i downloaded using odin [ it is not the real one as i did not make any backup ]
Then the phone rebooted and the samsung logo came up.. and does not move from that screen..
So technically the phone doesnt start now..
Should i install gingerbread manually as well ? if so how to do that ?
1) Is there any way i can get my phone back ? or is it permanently f'd up ?
2) is this what u mean by a bricked phone ?
dont care if its a stock rom or a working custom rom.. .. I just want my phone to work again..

turns out i only soft bricked my phone..
After wiping the cache it worked again.. so .. problem solved..

Then I flashed stock ROM 5.0.2. So my phone listed imei. And both the sim cards slots are not working.
And now I installed MAXICM ROM but still sim cards are not working. So please guide mW that how it will be repaired or I bricked my phone?

Are you sure your imei is damaged? Try going to the recovery and factory reset and wipe cache. then flash stock rom maybe it will work. Hope this can help :fingers-crossed:.
***Additonal: Did you make a Nandroid Backup or any backup at all? Try restoring it haha :good:

first of All
At the time of flashing my phone was full, when i clicked on backup , error appeared that storage is full
And Where i find Stock ROM ,
Two days before I Downloaded One STOCK ROM From SAMMOBILE

But When I am installing this via odin Download mode, it fails every time,

Hay @maamiradina, What did you do with you phone in the last.
Yaar mera Galaxy grand prime bhi dead ho gai hay, main nay galati say es Lollipop ka galat firmware dal diya, Ab sirf black screen hay awr kuch nahin, no download mode, no recovery mode at all

Hello ,i m surya i m using lenovo a7000-a mobile yesterday i rooted my mob and today morning i hav downloaded software update and tried to install but its not getting installed and i hav stuck in recovery mode i m not able boot it properly i booted my device many times but no use again its going into recovery mode only dont know what to do plz help me.......
You cant download with rooted OTA update if you mean it with that "software update". Its the basic rule. If you cant boot it then you just have one option. Re-flash the system with your recovery and before THAT back up your internal storage. PS: And for the next time dont be t*rd and use this forum to learn some basic about rooted phone.
