First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECCESSARY)
- Flash zip from SDCard
- Reboot

You can install Gravity BOX and Xposed framework to your phone. Once installed open up gravity box, then go to display tweaks and there you can modify all settings. Hope this helps !:good:

Just make sure you dont use ART, Xposed will not work with ART.

Titanium backup working before flashing storage swap zip, ;after flashing storage swap zip file it does not show any fies in restore file option. i M using titanium backup without flashing storage swap file. Using this rom for 2 days, indeed a very good rom, good job sir

Gallery application force closed sometimes

Cant stop the error pop up... This is bad. The zips dosnt work.. I tried putting in zip by modifying manually... Almost 6 hours now...

root your device properly .
if problem persists , go to preferences -> back location->scan->select current location.

set default write disk as sd card in system settings.
go to preferences -> back location->scan->select current location.

After installing the storage fix zip, my SD card is no longer writable, have tried the <media r/W> tweak but didnt help... Any body faced such an issue with this ROM ?

anilyarki, no body faced any problem like this. Have you changed default write disk in storage setting. Try clearing cache and dalvik cache from recovery.

Working fine with all M2 version (4gb & 8gb)
Reflash the ROM
1.reboot to ctr recovery
2.backup current ROM
3.preflash wipe (from wipe menu)
4.install ROM zip

1.Copy all the files to sdcard or internal
2.reboot to twrp(go to updater app->3 dots->reboot to recovery)
3.Go to wipe->wipe only system (dont need to wipe data or dalvik cache ,internal and sd)
4.Go to mount->Check on Mount sytem patition as read only
5.Flash recovery rom 6.8.11 zip file
6.Flash OTA-1 zip
7.Flash OTA-2.zip
8.Flash supersu zip(if you want to root your rom)
9.Flash Xposed framework zip(if you want xposed framework)
10.Flash Lazyflasher zip
11.Reboot
12.Wait for 15-20 mins until your phone boots up.

Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. try changing dpi if 1080x1920 set to 420 dpi
if 720x1280 set to 266 dpi
do not change randomly your dpi or else your rom gets useless

2. A usb cable
3. CherishOS packages
Install step:
1) Make A BACKUP!!!
2) Unlock your bootloader( Will wipe data)
3) Flash lastest yarpiin's recovery (MOD EDIT: Link Removed)
4) Wipe
Dalvik/ART Cache
Cache
Data
5) Format data
6) Copy fw and ROM to your device
7)Flash fw first, when finish wipe Dalvik Cache
8) Flash ROM
9) Reboot and enjoy!!!!
Notes: If you have unlocked bootloader and flashed recovery, ignore step 2-3
