If so, I was wondering your opinion on Wear 2.0 for the Z3. I am seeing so many posts of people regretting updating their watches. Before I even wanted to make an attempt, I was going to check around this forum to see if I'd be able to revert/downgrade after if I end up disliking it.

I'm sorry if this sounds like an extremely nooby question, but how do I root my phone?
I'm looking at getting CyanogenModon my HTC Hero from sprint, but when I run 'Universal Androot' i'm getting a failed notice. I'm on software number 2.31.651.7 which I have read is making androot fail.
Is there anyway to downgrade, or is there another rooter that works with that version?

Now to get to the point. I am getting my HD2 within the next two weeks and would like to know if i upgrade to wp7 and get the activation code, will i be able to do live updates and so on oficially? If this is poster before i do apologize but i could not find the answer.

With updates do you mean system updates? In this case, no, you have to wait. Now we're all waiting for DFT to release the NoDo version

No, you and I are at the mercy of "黑暗軍團" (Dark Legion). It is up to him to release updates and you cannot update via zune, because it will download files, reboot your phone a few times, and then fail.
Lovely. Guess ill stick with SPB and the 6.5 till then. Got so many awesome apps on my I900 and don't think its a good idea to lose all that atm. Also would like to start to create a few apps and so on for WP7 but I guess ill need a WP for that.

And how on earth would you be able to get an "official" update from M$? There is no "official" HD2 WP7 software/drivers!?
What you have is a custom rom which has been edited to run on your hardware.
I do understand that and did think that was the case but i figured no harm in asking just to make sure. I don't assume something since we know about assumptions. Thanks for the info.
I just got this galaxy watch yesterday, and I'm dying to root and REALLY be ablr to enjoy all the pleasures. Only thing I looked in the android development for the watch and found a root method here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701581&page=3 the only thing that noids me out is that a few people ran into problems rooting and had asked the dev for help, the dev never replied and its been days if not weeks now. I really want to make sure this is the proper route to go before I screw something up, so can someone reassure me this will work or direct me to the proper method? Tia all
So I have the Huawei nexus 6P running the latest and greatest version of Android (I am subscribed to the devoper preview) and I haven't been able to find any current root methods for that version on my phone.
Now I'm not asking for someone to point me in the right direction, although I'd appreciate it.
I thought "Well instead of sitting around waiting for someone else to come up with a method, why don't I take a wack at it?"
So what I'm asking is: how to I even begin to develop my own rooting method? Where do I start looking? What programming languages should I get familiar with? What applications should I have on my pc for this task?

Hi guys. Been a while. So, the government here has come out with a vaccine passport which will be needed to do just about anything. Therefore, I will need to upgrade the wife's S5 to 8.1, from 6.1.
Now, I see a bunch of things online obviously, but as I recall this place here was/is the holy grail for cell phones. Just hoping to not have to buy a new phone as our pensions don't leave all that much wiggle room.
Just need to be pointed in the right direction is all.

Do you have TWRP flashed to the s5?
There aren't really any maintained roms if any now a days for the S5 but if you want the newest version look into Mokee that's 9.0 and still gets updates here and there from memory
What's the model of the s5?
