SPV Camera on XDA - MDA, XDA, 1010 Accessories

Hi all, I am new to this, and hope this has not been asked befor but I Know the SD slot is not compatable with SD-IO devices, But dose anyone know it the Camera from The SPV will work, as they are the same connector and the chargers and sync cables are the same, Well saying all this i know if you just plug the SPV camera into the XDA it dose nothing, is it worth me trying to find the drivers for the camera that must be on the SPV somewhere
Any help or advise please
Thanks
John

does anyone know if flycam SD is compatible with XDA I? They advertise it as being only for HPs but it seems to have the same interface? AR

most likely you have a better chance of somebody knowing there
if it's SDIO then no it will never work
if it's not then maybe recall back a LONG time agoe a sd cam which was supprosed to work on XDAI but the price of it was prob more then one could get a xdaII for used these days

LG KS20 Can help solve Kaiser problem... Help?

Hey... I just went to Vodafone store and tried the LG KS20, i think it has the same hardware as the tytn 2 (check http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer&id1=733&id2=825 to compare), but doesn't looks like it suffers from the same problems as the tytn. I tried the camera and isn't more slow than a regular phone camera? Might be a solution of the problem? I don't know but it's worth checking it... I dont know exactly if might help but every hint shoud be welcomed... i heard the problem might be the drivers but if the LG as the same hardware might be it has the "missing drivers"...
But there are people more informed in this matter than me... Just trying to help...
LG KS20

Shows video performance (quite good or better thn i saw on tytn)

No, but a device with the same hardware chipset and working drivers is a start...

Well... at least is another option to who ever is looking for a substitute to it... But would be cool if someone managed to get it to work. But does this means that the kaiser as all the hardware necessarry for a better graphical aceleration?
And what about the p3600i? Does it suffer from the same problem?
Yes, people have tried to use the drivers from this device, and it has not worked out so far.

Probably what needs to happen is to build a new driver specific for the Kaiser, based on the LG driver. I've never written drivers before, but I imagine although its probably quite difficult, probably not as hard as starting from scratch.

In this thread we are discussing the possibility of taking the video drivers out of the KS120 to make our HTC phones better. These forums are only for those using devices made by HTC, and this subforum is specifically for the Kaiser model. I doubt anyone here can help you with an LG.

original XDA-Terra O2 Rom needed (hardware problem)

Hi all!
My XDA Terra makes a really annoying noise while I am calling or get a call from someone (like a tweeting).
I think its a hardware problem and so the only way for me is sending it back to O2 for repair...
Now my actual problem: I´ve hardSPL my phone for using custom cooked roms. I have already found a thread for removing hardSPL but what i haven´t found is the original O2 XDA Terra Rom...!!!
So here my Question: Can someone please help and provide the rom for me??
Thanks in advance!
You should have read more beforehand
As far as I know there is no original o2 XDA Terra Rom to flash back to... only the t-mobile ROM but that won't help you...

no matter send to them and they repair.... they donßt mind hard-spl...
in my case they didn´t!
thx for your reply! Ill just send it with hardspl!
It can be an Overclock Problem.
If you Overclock with BS too high you get this noise in some Programms or it can be there at all.
For me work's it in Phone mode not higher then 221Mhz and in Cam Mode 201Mhz. So you don't get the green pix too.
All other apps run 286Mhz w/o Problems.

LOL to late I just send the phone out to O2... But when I think of it you could be right.... I have enabled BatteryStatus to dynamicly overlock the phone up to 286MHz (works fine) but that could be the problem.... Nevermind I´ll have to wait maybe Im lucky and they find a hardware prob... Thx anyway!

The LED above the screen

Hi, all.
First of all i would like to thank all of the people who offer their experience in this web site and help others to solve "strange " problems.
I am a user of an HTC Artemis and recently (before a few days) i bought an HTC Diamond from T-Mobile (MDA Compact iV). I dont know if what im experiencing is really a problem but i thought to give a try and ask.
So the LED above Diamond's screen is not flashing or lighting at any time. Neither when the sim card is in and phone operating nor when it is getting charged.
This is strange to me, since in the Artemis the LED above the screen is flashing when the phoneis operational and permanently on (orange) when it is getting charged either from pc or from a socket.
Anyone has an idea??
Thank you very much for your help and consideration.
Much appreciated.

Its not an LED, its the light sensor.
Thanks
Ohh stupid me. Thanks a lot mate. And i started wondering.
Once again thanks a lot.

friendly advice: read the manual.
I don't remember this as mentioned in the manual - at least not where it described the parts on the phone exterior - though it may be there elsewhere though where I might have missed it.
It was here at xda developers that I got to know about the "LED" being a light sensor
