XDA + GPS-mouse working by Mignon-Akkus - MDA, XDA, 1010 Accessories

Hallo, who can give me advice?
I want to use my XDA for navigation in connection to a GPS-mouse (RGM 2000 Sirf-mouse, 180 mA) by Battery/Akkus! Is the "BattPak" von Garmin http://www.gps-nav.de/index-iSun.html or http://www.icpglobal.com/html/battpak.asp suitable for that,
to do it with 1800 or 2000 mA-Akkus as 10xMignons = 12 Volts ?
How much mA does the XDA need in Navigation-work while also charging the own Akku???????

USB Tethering very slow

I tried to use my SGS as a Wlan-N stick because my PCs WiFi-Card only support Wlan b/g. The g-standard have a shorter range (40 meters) than the n-standard (70 meters) so I thought that you will get a better Ping/Speed with it.
But when I tried to do it I get only a download-speed of 289 kbit/s. With the other card I get a speed of 24 Mbit/s.
So my question is why am I getting a lower speed with Wlan-N if I use USB-tethering?
Can it be like that because I use the JPA-WiFi-driver on my JPX?
Thx for the answers and a happy new year ;-)

[HELP]i9000 works on 4000Mhz why?

I bought a used SGS from a friend best shape.
Then I upgraded it to rev B 2.3.3 and wantes to see the score in Quadrant.
The score was little 938 but at System information i got
Current freq: 400MHz
Any idea why?
A wizard did it

The S stands for Smart and that describes the type of user the phone is marketed towards. If the user isn't smart then it will result it ID 10 T errors.
wow your phone is very special!
mine only runs at a max of 1000mhz
i would not do any more that 88 miles an hour with the phone close as you may go back to the future.....
I guess he meant 400Mhz...
Try a second time and you will probably get different current freq.
100 - 1000 on a stock kernel.
Some devs. implement overclocking in the kernel,
but 4000 MHz sound like somewhat outside the range.
Please correct the subject as OP if this is the case.
...and even better: Read, read and read again in Q&A and Development

if it would run un 4000 mhz then
-your battery would be empty within 10 minutes
-probably your house would have been burned down already

He propably meant 400MHz .
No way a mobil phone can hit the 4GHz.
It's normal your sgs is running at 400MHz.
It only does 1000MHz when you need it.
Please don't make threads that don't make sense (except the milky galaxy thread, that one is very funny).

[Q] WIFI 802.11ac connection speed

Hello,
can anyone tell me what is the connection speed using 802.11ac ?
i know that on GN with wifi n you cannot exceed 65mbs and i hope HTC doesn't limit the ac to a speed lower than 900mbs.
Thank you!
Damn, you're talking about 900mbps? I've got a connection of only 21 mbps
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
802.11ac is only as fast as your router and the speeds you get from your provider, and as far as I know, no provider offers 900mbps connections. I have xfinity 105 mbps package and the wifi on my iphone 5 averages 50 mbps

this is not entirely true.
google fiber has 1Gb internet solution but this is not what I'm trying to find out.
I want to know the connection speed showed in settings under wifi when you are connected to a 802.11ac router.
433Mbit/sec is the theoretical maximum for the HTC One

Pardon by am I really intrigued by your question Do you by chance have the capacity to peak out the maximum limit of the wifi ac?

yes, i can use all the bandwidth from a 802.11ac and the simplest example is file sharing.
also you are not limited to 1 process so you can simultaneously do file sharing, video streaming, download, upload etc.
I am finding that the HTC One refuses to connect to my Asus RT-AC66U router. Unfortunately the AC standard being draft, I suspect its a compatibility issue. It seems to go into authentication, delay, then try again over and over.
In the end I had to connect on my 2.4GHz output instead for now.

Here is my screenshot connected to VM Superhub, 30mb broadband.......
I got the phone working with my Asus RT-AC66U by updating to unofficial Beta firmware .352 on the Asus. I have a 38MB connection with BT Infinity, but I can't get higher than 31Meg with the speedtest on download on the One, but I do see 36.5 from a PC so for some reason I am not quite maxing out.

you might be limited due to write speed on phone's memory card.
can you transfer trough ftp from your pc to the phone a large file and monitor the transfer speed?

I know the connection speed with the Asus rt-ac66u is 433Mbs (54 MBs) and now I'm curious about the write limitation on internal memory
thanks

[Q] WiFi Hardware???

Anyone know what WiFi hardware is in the HTC One???
The reason I want to know, is because it doesn't seem like it supports "channel bonding" (40Mhz Channel) on 2.4 or 5 Ghz band.
Any technical specs would be much appreciated.
BCM4335
http://www.broadcom.com/press/release.php?id=s742791
Thanks BenPope
Supports 20, 40, and 80 MHz channels with optional SGI (256 QAM modulation)
It says it does but when I connect and use WiFi analyzer ... It only shows in one channel...
Anyone have any ideas....
Maybe false advertisements?
