CF to SD/MMC adapter - MDA, XDA, 1010 Accessories

Is there a CF (Compact Flash) to SD/MMC card adapter available that could work with XDA ?
I know that XDA doesn't support SDIO, so it's impossible to have CF accessories like Camera or 802.11b with a such adapter (if exists).
But what about memory "only" CF card ?
I have a lot of CF cards and it could be great if it is possible to use them with my XDA.
If you have any links to manufacturers of such type of adapters, please let me know.
Thanks

Sorry but as far as I know you will have to update to WM6 to get this to work correctly!
8GB SDHC
Does 8GB Micro SDHC cards work on this phone? Is this SanDisk cards? Are there any requirements to the micro to mini SD adapter?
Does anyone know if trinity with wm5 supports 6/8 gb sdhc cards?? I have read the last coment about it's necesary to upgrade to wm6 to use these cards, but i don't know if there are any fix to support them on wm5.
I know there are a fix called sdhc.cab (or something like that), but i'm not sure if with that fix wm5&Trinity will works fine with any sdhc cards.
(by the way, i don't want to upgrade by trinitry because it's really working fine under this wm5 (including gps) and also i know that i will lose my guaranty if i upgrade it).
Any help would be appreciate. Thanks
I am also experiencing the same problem... I already tried upgrading my P3600 to WM6 (by the way working very well) and the HDSD drivers available through this site with no success. Is there any other solution to this problem?...

Hi Mastah,
Is there a thread for this ROM? I can't find it anywhere....
Mattster
I've managed to see all the 8gb of a Kingston microSD (+ adapter, of course) in my WM5 (original rom) Trinity.

Yes, 2020i support SD. Are you sure that you have SD instead of SDHC?
I tested a lot of cards, but still found working The problem is that not all cards are suitable, that's all. By the way - i buy kingston and it work well.
Close topic please. Problem solved.

Pendrive support issue.............

Hey guyz... i have an issue ...need ur suggestions.
I bought the OTG cable to use my 8gb PENDRIVE... Manufacturer: KINGSTON.
But unfortunately when i attach the usb after some time it says USB already remove...
I also tried after formatting the usb using the FAT32 + NTFS option but the problem remains the same.
On the other hand i tried to connect HP 4gb and no problem occurs with them....
I also tried to check it with h2testw no issues reported.
I also used the software Paragon NTFS & HF from play store.. ISsues are the following attached images.

It might be a compatibility issue with the Kingston pendrive.
Previously saw a forum posting saying Android OTG is more compatible with FAT32 pendrive.
First time hearing FAT32 + NTFS option.
1) You can try to use Windows to format the Kingston pendrive to FAT32 format.
2) Or use App SanDisk Memory Zone to format the Kingston pendrive.

3) Sony is going to sell a new 2 in 1 flash drive, you might want to consider getting it

It's have two partitions? Then is that the problem.

I also contacted the Kingston customer support... They are saying that all usb's are standard and not OTG supported so far.. .So no use of discussion... But still if got any solutions then let me knw.. Thanks in advance...

otg (kingston dual usb/micro usb) flash drive has stopped working?

i used to be able to connect my flash drive directly to the device and browse files using es file explorer
kingston 64gb dual usb 2.0
but now it doesnt work and only works if i connect the supplied otg cable which defeats the purpose of why i bought the flash drive
now i know according to the kingston website my device isnt listed, but it used to work
is there anything i can do to fix this? is there something stopping it from working e..g app?

Question about otg support on Tab S2

Good morning, I would like to know if with this tablet I can use a 64gb or higher USB stick, and which format? (Fat32, exfat, NTFS)?
Thanks
OTG works fine on S2.
I have used a 128 GB stick with no problem and Micro SD up to 200 GB both internally and via OTG also no problems.

Thank you, which format are your SD and USB otg? Exfat, NTFS, fat32?
If you want to read and write to a NTFS drive (I've tested it with a SanDisk Extreme 64GB USB stick and a Western Digital 1.5 TB Elements drive) use:
Paragon exFAT, NTFS & HFS+ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paragon.mounter
And a file explorer such as Root Explorer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer
Other file explorers may work (they probably need root permissions), but the Samsung default file explorer doesn't "see" the connected USB drive.
Yeah I know those programmes, but at the beginning I wouldn't like to root my device. What I want to know is which kind of partition does the s2 natively read, from the manual I've only found fat and exfat. Could someone confirm that?
I use exFat and my latest file reader is FileKommander. I find it works best.

Thank you very much
My tab s2 Marshmallow failed to recognise my 128gb otg stick while my sisters tab 4 8" running android 5.01 recognise it just fine. Prob with permission in marshmallow?
