Bluetooth headset on pc? - MDA, XDA, 1010 Accessories

I know this isn't really related but don't know where else i could ask.
I was womdering if the bluetooth headsets would work on a pc.
Thanks

If the Bluetooth device on the PC supports the headset profile, then yes.

yeah kinda like the opposite
trying to use the ms bluetooth mouse on a pda
wonder if that would work

Not sure how that is related, since PPC device have no mouse driver and no Bluetooth mouse profiles. Having a headset profile in a PC BT stack is not a big stretch.

Cool, a new headphone equalizer program but...

It works not with BT headset. When I launch the app it says to plug in a headphone in order to use. And if I use BT headphones???
Just plain silly
yeah eq's won't work with BT or wired headsets. The only you can do for BT is to make sure you have the ideal AD2P settings in the registry
Hi,
Do you think there is a solution to make it work with stereo bluetooth headset ?

My Diamond doesn't recognize BT Headset

Hi. I have a Motorola H350 Bluetooth Headset and my Diamond doesn't recognize it. Do you know if this is normal or i'm i doing something wrong?
Thanks.

I don´t think so. Is it necessary?

Set bluetooth priority

Masters,
Let me first explain my situation and then ask the question.
In my car I have a bluetooth carkit. When I am out of the car I am using a BT headset.
I am using the BT headset for my phone and for my computer, such as Skype.
My question is if there is a program for my Windows Mobile 6.1 were I can give priority to certain devices. I would like that when I am in my car and my BT carkit starts, my PPC switches over to the carkit and does not stay with my BT headset.
When I want to switch, I have to power off my BT headset and connect my BT carkit to the PPC. But when I get out of the car, I first have to power on my BT headset before using it.
I hope I made myself clear with my question. English is not my native language. So if there is something not clear, please let me know.
hi, just like to echo the question, that I have the similar question and looking for the solution.

A2DP Bluetooth connected to the PC

Hi,
I have bought the Philips SHB 6110 Headset and I can connect it succesfully to my HTC Touch HD.
Hoever I want to use the headset for calling on skype or realated PC software, thus I want to connect the headset to the PC.
I had one bluetooth dongle but it didn't want to connect, I bought another one cheap just to try, Trust Bt-2100p, which comes with a Toshiba stack, however I cannot connect with those ones either.
The Trust dongle supports BT 2.0 + EDR
I think it is because of the profiles, the headset has the following profiles:
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Bluetooth stereo
support (A2DP – Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile, AVRCP – Audio Video
Remote Control Profile), Bluetooth mono
support (HSP – Headset Profile, HFP
– Hands-Free Profile)
However, for the bluetooth dongle usually it is not written on the pack which profiles it supports.
Do you think I could try to make it work, or do I need to buy another bluetooth dongle with A2DP?
I just put mine in discovery mode and it find the headset
and it see the profile
I use the ms stack got the usb bluetooth with a ms mouse
with bluetooth
used a bluetake stereo headset before and that worked ok with
the toshiba stack unlike the broadcomm bt stack which would
only do headset not a2dp

Kaiser as a pc headphone ?

Hi !
I know we can use a pc bluetooth profile to use it as a headphones/handsfree for the kaiser (listening music on the PPC, earing sound on the pc), but is it possible to do the same in the other side (pc sound redirected to the PPC) ?
It's because my laptop headset plug is broken, I'd like to do this... Pairing my PPC and plugging my headset in it is not a big deal, but it is just possible ?
Thank you for your answers
is if your phone show up as audioGate way profile on your laptop of cause not all pc bluetooth models support it
You need a Bluetooth driver for your PC that supports using the BT audio protocol, in other words it enables seeing your PC's Bluetooth as a soundcard.
Many don't provide this with their BT drivers, but if you have it then I can confirm that it works!
