seems to be newer than available ROM and Ext Rom Dangaard ITA is offering on his site http://www.windowsmobile.it/faq/prodotto.asp?P=Q9090

,if u have BT problems u could upgrade for more recent

I wish to UNLOCK my extended ROM, get rid of any cabs and make full use of it as STORAGE MEMORY (for programs, etc)

I have a Vodafone VPx which is a Qtek 9090, with the following:
ROM Version 1.22.00 WWE
Date 10/22/04
Radio Version 1.06
protocol Version 1337.38
ExtRom Version 1.22.155 WWE
What would be the best/stable upgrade available?
What,if any, are the differences between the Qtek and i-Mate updates.

After one year owning a BA I am on the verge of updating my wwe to ita rom.
I read all the wiki and found this roms:

**** This is the only found on xda with some reference to updates; the other come from imate ftp.

Now the Qn: Which ROM would you go for? Right now my choice would be the PDA2k_ITA_14004_188_11200_ship found on xda. It should be the latest, am I correct?
Another qn: when upgrading to other language ROM I understand I should use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe repeatedly until success? correct?
Finally: after upgrade I will have an italian hw layout on the qtek and italian sip.
I saw several kb cab on the ftp for other languages, is there also a wwe keyboard cab? I would like to keep the hw keyboard with the old, correct even if not Italian, layout.

PH20B 0 B FRE E DANGA203 1.22.02 0 2 1.22.127 1.06.00 06.00
I've tried to download a 1.4 rom and run the fix.bat file.
But I always get errors (WARNING: this does not look like a nbf header, possible you provided the wrong password)
Can anybody assist ?

thanks for the hints. I already tried the 2 links you gave me, but I get errors running the fix.bat file.
I think the password is not valid anymore for 1.4 roms ?
