I have Radio 1.02 in my Qtek 2020i. Is it good idea for update to 1.03?
What is changed in the new version?

what do you mean? My Qtek is factory default. Nothing done with flashing at all.

I have a qtek 9090 that I bought second hand. The radio ROM version is 0.92.00 (quite old).
I tried to upgrade it and could not get out of bootloader mode for a while. I managed somehow to get the device back on working again.
This is my current configuration
PH20B 0 B WWE E 11111111 1.31.00 1.31.162 0.92.00 92.00
I cannot save my radio rom to SD Card and cannot ugprade it. I tried different ROM versions etc ... no success ...
If somebody has any suggestions it would be great ... (I have not tried a hammer yet ... soon !!)

i apologise for any noobiness, but ive searched through all the threads and tried all the methods but to no avail.
i wish to unlock my qtek and remove the annoying vodafone branding.
i tried a rom downgrade and it didnt work
i tried the lokizip and it did'nt work.
i tried the mrclean rom upgrade and it said need a newer update.
Where am i to start?

Hi to all, i have an Imate kjam with IPL 2.16.0001 and SPL 2.16.0001, it is possible for me to upgarade to 2.26 coz i try to flash the rom with molski's and Rlsidoro even wizard love but the IPL and SPL does change at all. Only ROM, Radio and Extrom changed. Anyone can tell me how can i change it and it is important to change it and whats the different?

You're right that your IPL/SPL does not changes!
Our (Risidoro's, Wizard_Love and my Roms) for G4 devices does NOT contain IPL/SPL, (only Extended Rom, OS and Radio Rom).
So when you bootup and your OS and GSM are changed, your devices is upgraded.

no, it's a different brand chipset in the device is all.
How can I upgrade my Radio ROM to 2.19.11?

IPL 1.01
SPL 1.01
GSM 1.12.10.0
OS 6.0.0.1
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Did you unzip the folder and run ROM update? If you did then the problem is you need to upgrade to IPL 2.26 & SPL 2.26
It's because you have a 1.xx IPL and SPL. The only way that it is going to work is if you upgrade your ROM. You're going to have to upgrade the whole thing cuz if you would just upgrade the IPL/SPL to 2.xx to make the GSM work then the OS wouldn't.
OR download latest official carrier Rom AKU 2 version,to upgrade to IPL/SPL2.xx,than upgrade to Radio 2.19 if he doesn't want to opt for unlocking and upgrade

Yes it will, unless the ROM contains a CID but I don't know of any that do. I know for sure that the T-Mobile ROM doesn't since it's the one I always flash back to before flashing a newly cooked WM6 ROM.
I´ve a HTC 3600 and installed Hard-SPL Olipro 1.20 then executed the application for releasing the Sim and CID restrictions of my HTC.
I keept the WM5 ROM and tested the device. The Sim is now unlocked, i suppose so is CID, how can I check this before installing a new cooked ROM?
My gps was working fine, now I can´t get gps signal, do I need a radio update? Which is recommended? Did the sim unlocking process downgraded my radio rom

Unlocking P3600 downgrades the radio...
Therefore you cannot use GPS until you upgrade the radio again.

How I can I check if my CID was succesfully unlocked? I want to install a new ROM with a different language.
If you installed hard spl on your device, it doesn't matter if you have cid unlocked or not, cause hardspl let's you install any rom in any language.
As for the radio, it depend's on your carrier and the country you are in.
I see you are in Portugal so you can use the latest version (Radio 1.50.08.11), it works just fine for me.
Humm, I´ve read that the latest ROM cause mora battery drain than the others, is this true?
