Has anyone got an Idea of how to get WM05 on My BlueAngel in German?
No Problem with english Version, but my BA sends SMS over other Countries so they are VERY expensive.
So, can i Change the Number on which my BA sends SMS or will a German Version be available?

regular number from o2....
where du you get this information?

I have bought my Wife an SX66 like I have. I have upgraded it from SX66 (Blue Angel) Standardization Project.
My wife is a native Russian speaker and would like to be able to store contacts, send email and SMS in Russian. I have already installed the software keyboard for her and the prompt translation software. But when she sends an SMS in Russian or email it comes out as ????? ????. I am hoping the people here can help.

As a native Russian too, may i ask you a question?
Did you set up right options to sms&e-mail accounts? Go to Messages->Menu->Tools->Options->Text Messages and set up check box "Use Unicode when necessary" to true(checked).
Also in Regional Settings select Russian. If you tried it with no luck,then just install Pocket Russkey 2003 for WM05 or WM03(depending what OS U use) full version.It will localise alll OS into Russian for your wife.
P.s. Just PM me if U want to have full version of Pocket Russkey 2003.

today i unlocked my vpa compact 4 with imei-check and updated to wm6 german from htc.
all fine, fast, nicer, wm6 ...
when i push the reset button and the vpa boots, my sms messages will be lost.
synchronised outlook mails are still available....
any ideas?

everytime you press the reset-button your message will be lost? Is there an option like "when resetting the device cleanup sms-memory"?!

i updated my herald to wm6 today, same problem occurred to me, before that i made a backup (advanced), and now i have all my msg in place.
hope it helps.
My brandnew XDA Diamond (HTC Diamond 1.93.407.1) does not display the neat o_o symbol when I receive new messages on my voicemail account.
Instead I receive a SMS, which I do not like!!!
My last mobile has been a vodafone branded palm treo 500v.
There it worked with the symbol.
My carrier is German e-plus.
Does anyone have a clue how to challenge this one?

Hi, I would like to know if it si possible to change in an e-mail options language. For example from western european on Unicode(UTF-8). I am from The Czceh republik and have got problems with diakritical marks. when i send an e-mail so it is delivered with nonsense instead of diakritical mark. I have to change language manually every e-mail. I woul like change it constantly. Thank you for your advice.

I am having problem with my HTC Tytn 2 for sendin text messages to any European countries. I am able to send text messages locally i.e with in GCC and India but am not able to send to any European countries. When I do so, it gives me a message that chek address. I use windows 6.1 and du mobile network. Please help.€
are you using the same number that you are calling to the EU mobile?
