Upgraded O2 mini s to Kjam - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Hi
I have upgraded my xda 2 mini s rom to a kjam rom and everything is good apart from the keyboard mapping being slightly out.
All the letters are correct but when i press the blue spot button the ! key becomes ~ and the @ key becomes ! amongst other small changes.
Can anyone help me get the keys back to where they belong.

Need help with problematic keys on the face of MDA Vario III

Hi Everybody,
I've got a MDA Vario III bought back in Dec, didn't had any problems till now. But yesterday my MDA didnt started and when it did, I came up with problematic keys on its face !!!
The Keys for: Making Call, Ending the call, Windows Key and OK key on the face of the handsets, when pressed overrides the function of itself by the function of the key near to it !!!
For e.g. If you press Call button, it will automatically start calling the last number (which shouldn't be the case, it should just open the dial pad!) and on top of that it opens the Contact (which is the Key beside Call button). I've tried formatting the handset twice and I am no way pressing the two buttons at same time !
Please do help me to find where the problem lies and its solution. Its kinda urgent please. Thanks in Advance
Please Help Me Folks
Please Help me folks, what can I do with it to get it working properly ?
try SK Tools I always use autoclean and free-up RAM and that helps me settle this sort of problems. It actualy does the same as a soft reset.
this was the lazy version of the answer

MDA Compact 3 Bootloader

[email protected]
I have a problem with my T mobile MDA Compact 3 of a goof friend.
I tryed to start updating the Version of Windows mobile, but I´m not able to start the bootloader.
Did I understand right that I just press one of these key combinations? Power-Reset-ok / Power-Reset-Cam /Power-Reset-The key above the volume regulator
If I run these combinations I get always a black screen and not the display with the word "serial".
I hope you can help me with this annoying problem!
I come from Germany, so I hope my small text is responsable
Best regards Alex
Wrong section. You have to post in Artemis. Maybe a mod will move the thread.

Need help for Wake-up-phone button!!!

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to HTC Raphael so I'm wondering how can I assign other button (volume, home, back key, etc) to wake my phone up instead of the power button cuz' pressing this button too much can cause trouble. I did this stuff quite well for HTC Universal but in this kind of HTC when da phone turns off every buttons are disable except da power one. Thank you.
This works
I found this on another thread
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd]
"DefaultKeyLock"= 0
It was from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470807
Now i can wake my MDA Vario iv by pressing any button.
Just use a regedit like phm regedit to alter the value. Be very careful to not alter anything but the value above to 0 from 1! Some would say back the registry up incase you make a mistake. I always think this is over the top and you can always hard reset if you really screw up.

here's a simple app from HTC that is on other phones: http://www.fuzemobility.com/wake-up-your-fuze-without-the-power-key/
Thanx guys. I did that perfectly on my phone

[Q] HELP for HTC Tytn II

Dear experts,
I have HTC tytn ii which i bought from Singapore (in 2008) when I was working there. Now I have shifted back to India and there are some issues with my phone and local HTC support people said they cannot help since the handset is bought from singapore. I wont be going back to Singapore and their support hotline is also down, infact Singapore dont have one. Did a lot of search on net and came across this forum. I hope to receive some guidance from all the tech experts.
I did see FAQ and sticky threads but its too techy and dont wanna take any wrong step. Following is the list of problems:
1. I cannot receive/disconnect calls using the front buttons (green & red). Infact except the center button none of them is working.
2. The roller key on left side top - push function is operational but the roller function is not working.
3. Query key board - None of the keys are working cannot type. When i push the soft reset button (right side top button which we use for standby) then caps light on query keyboard turn on and when i slide the keyboard in I can see Fn button light on.
I have reset the phone using clear storage but the problem still persists.
I would be very thankfull if anyone can guide me through. I am not sure whether its a hardware problem or some drivers problem.
Amol
where are the experts?????????? kindly help
It seems to me that the ribbon cable inside the phone is not inserted completely or is broken. If you take the phone apart you might be able to reseat the cable and see if that helps.

Bricked?

Hi to all!
I hope I am in the right forum section!
I have a unlocked T-Mobile MDA Compact V, It runs on WM 6.1. ( which I got recently).
Wanting to play around with screen optimization...(first mistake I suppose... )
I installed the HTC Home Customizer (HTCV10Final.cab) which was no problem, when launching, it requested
to add the HTC home plugin ( I installed HTChome-2.1-hermes-N2a.CAB) , installation went smoothly, it asked to reboot..OK
then .... stuck! .. Must have been the wrong version???
It goes through the sequence... finally on an empty home screen with top and bottom bar but totally unresponsive to touch or stylus.
The on/off top button works as far to swith off or on the screen but cannot switch off the phone, need to pull the battery out.
Any advice on how to proceed from here???
Regards

Solved by doing a hard reset....DoooooooooooH
Well, now comes the question:
1) what would be the correct version of HTC Home plugin for the MDA Compact V... if any?
2) Any other precautions/suggestion in the future??
Regards
Paddy
