K-Jam locks at bootup - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Hi, I bought a new K-Jam, which was fine until I installed the SOTI pocket controller.
From then on, the K-Jam locks at boot (blue screen with I-mate logo on it), and the backlight goes out, coming back up after a few minutes. All the buttons do not work, and the device does not load its software.
I tried a soft reboot and a hard reboot, but nothing works can anybody help?

has you verified SOTI pocket controller is WM5 compatible ?
I think you must make an "hard-reset" :?
regards

Software to put BA in bootloader Mode

My powerbutton is broken so I can't put my phone in bootloader mode anymore. I've got WM5 installed and activesync 4.1. Does anyone know if there is a possibility to put my phone in to bootloader mode without using the 3 button combination? Like with software or something?
BTW I must say that WM5 works just fine with me!
the power button broke on my xdaiis and I took the thing
apart and realigned switch..
all great since.. you need the swith to turn the screen bcak on
The thing is that the button had come off totaly. When I opened the phone it fell out. Somehow the button was damaged too, so it can't be pressed anymore.. The other alternative is to get let it fix, but that will cost me about 80 euro. And I don't need the button for anything else since I havesoftware to turn it off, and the phone also starts (if battery taken out) when you soft reset it. Whith the older versions of windows mobile it would go in to bootloader mode using just the installer, but since WM5 this doesn't work anymore.

Help!!! Screen not working properly

Hi I'm a noob here. Everything was working perfectly until today. My screen remains dark after going into sleep mode. I've tried to do a soft reset, and it seems fine when it first turns on. But after a minute of inactivity, it goes into sleep mode and whenever I tap the screen or hit the top power button, it awakens but the screen is very dark. I'm have no idea what happened. Hopefully someone can help. I have an 8125 with the following installed:
2.25 Rom (leaked version)
2.25 Radio
SPB Pocket 3.1
SPB Time 2.0
MS VoiceCommand 1.5

Use Remote ScreenAlignment.

Screen alignment problems fix!!!!!!

So i've been having problems with the screen alignment on mine since i had one spot on my MDA screen that was dead and my screen was cracked so the alignment wizard basically got stuck in limbo when I tried to calibrate it. SO basically what I had to do was download PHM Registry Editor and change the registry key touch referenced in here.

I then remembered the post from equinoxe that had registry settings for his phone. I took those settings and updated my registry. I now have a decent touch screen - at least the top 3/4 works fine.
The key and settings are:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH]
"CalibrationData"="1922,1957 3330,639 3317,3276 600,3230 609,677 "

Afterwards I used the remote alignment tool (attached) to retrieve the correct settings from the correctly aligned mda(after changing the registry key then rebooting the device) then made sure the file was saved on my pc....normally it's saved by default in the C:\Program Files\Code Factory\Remote Screen Alignment directory. The file was called WIZA200.dat. I did a soft reset then when the alignment screen came up I did the skip function in the remote screen alignment application and it automatically read the proper calibration from the wiza200.dat file and then properly calibrated my mda now my screen is properly calibrated even though i never ran the alignment wizard.
So here are the Instructions folks:
1. Download the latest activesync and connect your mda to your computer and verify your device is connected(not as guest)
2. Perform a soft/hard reset on your MDA then tap your screen to start the screen alignment wizard
3. Download the remote screen alignment tool attached and install it on your machine.
4. Download the wiza200.txt file attached and rename it to WIZA200.dat then put it in the C:\Program Files\Code Factory\Remote Screen Alignment directory on your computer
5. Ensure your MDA is connected to your pc(A green activesync Icon usually indicates a connection )
6. Open the remote screen alignment tool on your pc meanwhile your phone be displaying the alignment screen wizard.
7. Click SKIP in the screen alignment tool.
Assuming everything went fine a message box displaying "The operation has been completed successfully. Your device will be restarted." should pop up on your computer and your device should restart. Afterwards your phone will run the files it always does when you do a soft/hard reset then you touch screen should be properly calibrated and work fine.
thank you very much, this is exactly what I needed, my touch screen is busted
Thanx
OH MY GOD!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! nothing else worked but this did! you are a life saver!!!!!
es al gud..thank u
an error occured while performing the operation

Did you make sure that your device was connected through activesync before? It has to be connected and NOT as Guest meaning you have to run through the setup activesync does when you first connect a device, for this to work effectively. Also if you're running vista I can't 100% guarantee this will work for you since vista uses Windows Mobile device center and not ActiveSync. If it does then feel free to update this thread.

Again refer to what I mentioned above about it being connected by USB and recognized by activesync.
If not LMK I'll try to help as best I can.
Hello,
I have tried using with "1922,1957 3330,639 3317,3276 600,3230 609,677 " and actually skipped with screen alignment but alignment is not right....bottom part is not accessible...!!! any other correct alignment setting for T-Mobile MDA III....Please Help.
Thanks in Advance.
thx br,,
i solved my align screen problem in kais130,
working 100%
screen alignment.
hey I followed the steps to skip the screen alignment after doing a hard reset and i was able to turn my phone on successfully. However, my touch screen isn't working , i saw you mentioned that after doing a soft reset/hard reset the fone gets calibrated. My phone's screen didnt get calibrated. I tried to do screen align by going into settings but I wasn't able to do it that way either. it keeps tapping the target but it doesn't align the screen. Any idea what my problem could be? I thought that after doing a hard reset, it will resolve the problem. but it hasn't done so. I am out of solutions and I need some help.
I would appreciate if you can reply here or email me the solution at [email protected]
thanks
Greate!

Worked excelent, i had an 8125 with touch damaged, but with this i skipped the hardreset issue

Kaiser touch screen problem

Few hours ago i unlock my phone, there was a problem with radio rom, and my friend recommend to install Kaiser HyperDragon III_WWE version of WM6.1.
I install it, play 5-6 minutes and after this check some delay problem. I make soft restart and after this phone touch screen don't work.
Touch don't response. Made hard restart ... and it's the last think that i did.
At startup i check this "tap the screen to setup your windows devices ....", but as touch screen don't response .. i don't have any progress.
Try to resintall the same WIN6.1 version, but no changes.
Any advice? what's the problem.
Is there any way to fix it ?
sounds like a hardware problem. Most likely the wiring is bad or corroded. You'll need a new screen or you might be able to fix the wiring. I kind've don't like the fact that our kaisers vibrate at startup because you think it would eventually rattle something loose which may have happened in your case. Before getting a new screen though, load a new ROM. To do it without activesync enter the bootloader mode by pressing down the camera and power button at the same time while the phone is off. Then connect your phone and it should say USB after a few minutes. Then flash
