Has anyone tried updating their Wizard with the Radio ROM's from either of these two, new K-JAM ROM's??
The WWE ROM has the following radio version:
For the Worldwide English Build:
Radio version: 01.01.10
The new ROM's have the following radio ROM's:
For the Norwegian Build:
Radio version: 01.09.10
For the Italian Build:
Radio version: 01.04.10
I was curious to know what improvements, if any might be here. Anyone...anyone (Beuler..?)
The Russian version of ROM for Wizard (QTEK 9100) has radio version 01.04.10. Can't say if there are any changes since I didn't try any other versions. Works OK for my operator (RU Megafon NW)

New rom found on t-mobile site in Austria
This is a german rom and seems to have BB software as seen in the UK Rom.

Is there a new T-Mobile MDA Compact English ROM? It seems only T-Mobile is capable of creating stable ROMS.

and the blackberry solution (Instant Mail) is also installed.

That is not a very new version. I dont know if you ever had problems with your phone qualitity as i had with Version 1.00.00. I now use 1.08.00, although there is allready a higher version 1.10.00 available.
But if you dont have problems you dont have zo change anything.
i'm actually working on a german rom for the mda 3. there will be the new radio upgarade 1.10.00 included.

i just wanted to upgrade my PDA2K with new features like WMP10, mp3 tones, camera...etc i'm using the version with the arabic patch, here are my device infomation.

ROM date: 12/13/04
Radio version: 1.06.00

ExtROM version: 1.31.112 WWE
so is there a new all in one ROM i can install with all the updates?
or is there some patches i can update on my phone for camera, WMP,...etc?
Pls help me and tell me how to do it if possile.

Hello,
Just upgrade nk.nbf 1.40 and radio_.nbf 1.12 or 1.10 and do not touch your Extended ROM.
There are some files in the ExtROM that you would not need (like the Blue Tooth patch) but you can go ahead with the above now.

Hey all, I just got given a PH20B (blue angel) from a friend. It's the "i-mate PDA2k". He won it in a contest, it was unlocked when he got it. I use T-Mobile so I put my sim card in it and it works okay with T-Mo's GPRS service.
What's the benefit of updating the ROMs? Will it fix my skype problem: when i use skype i'm connected using wifi but it says i'm not, and insists on connecting with GPRS (which is too slow for VOIP). The wifi connection is fine, i can browse pages etc.
What will i get with the newer radio ROM, newer ROMs, etc?

1.40 is definitely better than the ROM you have. Go for it.
EDIT: the latest release ROM is 1.42 (hint: read wiki) which is better than the released ROM from Imate (plenty of bugs fix, newer application version etc)
If you are using it on T-Mobile I would suggest using the 1.42 ROM from T-Mobile NL, I have been using it for months now and it works great!!!
I've seen a few people asking about an Italian AKU2 update for the K-JAM and i-mate have now released it. I've uploaded it to the FTP site in uploads\HTC Wizard\ROMS.
I dont use the Italian ROM myself but for all of yesterday there was a file named Arctic.zip on the i-mate FTP site and i just had to download it to see what was in it so when i unzipped it and found that it was the Italian update, I thought i would upload it here for others to use.
