My Qtek 9090 Dead after or in time flashing
I try .....
1. Flash with NO_ID
2.TRy via romupdate and nb1-file
3. Try via I-mate and T-mobile roms includes NO_iD
and nothing... only dark screen and USB or Serial string......
HELp plz.
...... and IF I insert in it SD card string serial no change after put him in cradle.....
What you can try.
if you have the seral message on your screen then just replace it in cradel and rerun the no_id application.
Are you SURE that you are using a valid ship.exe file and that you have extracted all the files and are following the upgrade instructions for 1.42 as per wilki.

Yes try, i start no_ID (with many roms) and 9090 waiting 20-30 minutes after this connection error

Yes I extract all files , I try many ROMs for I-mate , Qtek , T-mobile in various version ..... I try make SD-Card with dump of rom,......
Only one that i cannot see How Update 9090 from SD to ROM or how copy dump of the ROM from harddrive via MTTY to 9090
This`is Unreal I work with PDA 3,5 years ago but look this bugs first ........

We have had a few (very few) that were not able to do an upgrade form thier pc. Not sure if this is a USB issue or software but after all the suggestions that we gave these people and none of them worked all they had to do was move over to a different pc and it worked.
So we know that the wiki 1.42 upgrade page works, that the file works and that the instructions are correct. Best for you is to try a different pc.

I have downloaded it, but I cannot install it, becouse language is different and setup doesn't go on.

I found you on google and saw your web site .. and reading so much of your posts ..
You are the expert here with IME.
I am having a problem for my Benq P51 that using WM6 JPN. I can't understand it because it is in Japanese. I try to work on it by changing it back to English or Thai but no hope.
Can I use your korechithai ?? or Do I have to do something as the above post ??
Please guide me !!
PS... I just installed your korechithai and it works !! i can read Thai now but .. everywhere is still in japanese .. such as, contact button, name of some programs, .. etc

i tried to cahnge language from spanish to english , update stopped at 0.1%, i disconnected after few hours and after that my ipaq is dead , i cant do nothing, its not recocnized by active sync, i tried hard reset but it dosen't show nothing, exept light shows that is charging , screen is empty all the time , if anybody had same problem please help me

The bootloader was dead, there is almost nothing you can do (unless you know how to JTAG the 6515... or take out the ROM, reprogram and solder it back)...
watchsat might not be right i have read other posts that this error at 0.1% is due to radio rom not being compatable and freezing there. no idea what the solutoion to this is but i know that if you dump radio.nbf it will continue pat 0.1% but you will have no radio
dont read much chinese but go over to www.pxdxa.com and search for error there as well.
try with another pc

i try that and it's working. first I try english to italian the resultat its ok

open it with Notepad or other txt editors.

i also got same problem with you a long time ago.
then i had brought it to Hp service center.
i said to them " suddenly it never boot any more,,"
they replaced it with new one after few days.
(in my case, it was free of charge,but i dont think you also free)
pls try this, if you have little bit of luck, you can get new one

you can tweak registry in those valu with registry editor,
could it be posible to flash only OS and EXTROM to avoid radio bricking?

finally worked for me when he was about to give up, that I resolved to not want treo750 nbh load image from the micro SD card, as it left my treo as a brick in the second step of the cheetah unlocker, decided to open the file original treo Upgrade to wm 6 "Treo750_2_23_ROW_ES_DesktopUpdater" (before I had wm5) and take the picture and also cheetah_fw.nbh image cheetah_fw.md5, both in the MicroSD put in charge and finally the entire OS and fix my treo, WWWOOOOOWWWW .
may not be much but I was already desperate and this came to improve day and my gastritis.
the file's there, I download a page of this forum but tell me and gladly climb for those who need

the link contains the file you need, just extract with winrar, inside there are cheeimg_fw.nbh and cheeimg_fw.md5, those are the files that you should put into sd.
