for not making new posts everytime and also to trace what HTC is saying to their customers, I ask to update this thread copying answers you get when asking HTC support about WM6 update.
Last answer for me was:
30/07/2007: The HTC P4350 Windows Mobile 6 update is expected shortly, please keep an eye on the HTC eClub for any updates.
To mods: could be useful to stick this thread so that peoples stop starting new ones.

The following Provisional dates have been given.
Athena (X7500/Advantage) - From August
Excalibur (S620) - From August
Hermes (TyTN) - Currently available

answer I recieved:
Good Morning,
I am afraid that the only information we have been given was a provisional date of the end of July.
I apologise if you were under the impression that they would be available at the end of June. Whichever of my colleagues told you this had unfortunately made a mistake.
Our original statement said that they would appear 'from June in line with our operator partner's strategies'.? this simply means that it would appear sometime after the beginning of June.? Our?only other information stated that it would be a provisional date of the end of July, but that this was subject to change depending on the results of final testing.? Some devices have already been updated and are now available with WM6 pre-loaded, but we are still awaiting the update.
I am confident that it should appear very very soon, as we have not been notified of any major problems that would delay the launch.
Yesterday:
The Rom update for the Windows mobile 6 for the P4350 has not been released yet. Please be a bit more patient. As soon as the update will be released (hopefully within this month) It should be available for download from the E- Club section of the HTC website.

I asked (over and over again) for the release date of WM6 this was the anwser:

Unfortunately, our press releases stated that the Windows Mobile 6 updates would be available from June.? As you must understand, a provisional dat only gives us an idea of when it might be available, and is subject to there being no further problems discovered during final testing.

We currently have the information that it seems to have passed final testing and pending the last few items of customisation being finished, should appear in the next few weeks.

I understand that this is frustrating, but this update is being offered as a good will gesture to our customers, and is not in any way compulsory.? It will be released to the public when tit has been completely finished and the infrastructure is in place to allow people to download it.

Well, for me the original press announcement about the update was one reason to buy the darn Herald.
Being in software development myself, I understand that sometimes things don't work as intended. Yet I have to keep my deadlines, or otherwise give clear justification as to what went wrong and provide a new definitive deadline (not "well, sometimes"), else my customers will kill me (ok, slightly exaggerated).
But anyway, there's nothing we can do but wait.

Installed the WWE on my Herald with Vista, confirmed WinMo6.
Oh... Damn!!!!
After flashing new ROM for testing, which i did few times, suddenly there was some error while flashing.
Now it is trying to turn on, but becomes stuck on the window:
"Powered by FINIX..." - yes it happend while flashing Finix ROM.
Now when i come to the bootloader mode it shows:
TRIN100
IPL-1.00
SPL-3.03.0000
Then i am trying to run some rom flash ,and...
Updating the rom on your image.... after 2% progres it stops:
"UPDATE ERROR: The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility."
I have tried this with few roms, same message.
OH, GOD PLEASE HELP ME to SoLVE THIS PROBLEM??? IS IT POSSIBLE? OR i JUST KILLED MY BELOVED TRINITY??? OH< OH< OH....
Flash it with original ROM usually can solve the problem...

Hi. My phone was manufactured ir 2014. It came With 4.2.2 mk4. I believe its all Knoxed, right? Is there a way to flash this without loosing Warranty? If there isnt.. just tell me so ill know what im doing. I think ill throw my warranty away

U already have Knox . Atm u can`t "evade" Knox warranty bit u will trigger it by flashing a custom rom

On i9192 MK4 = knox bootloader
You can still flash what you want (recovery / rom / etc), but your phone will be flag 0x1.
In EU that flag don't broke hardware warranty, only software support, don't know else where.

Here in Brazil u loose warranty. And this is not the worst part. Sometimes ppl buy used phones, already flagged, and have no idea of what is this, or what is a custom kernel or rom... then, if they need warranty, they have the surprise.
I´m gonna install recovery and root. Never needed warranty in 3 years of flashing. I would be very unlucky if something happened to this phone. Lol

I have tested your v1.2 rc1, the phone get very hot , warm for 2 hour i used. Then went back to restore to original rom.
Is this v1.3 rc1 supercharged, deodexed, etc????????? And will my phone get hot or warm.? Which baseband or stock rom should i flash first.?

I didn't get any feedback about heating issues, and i'm also using my ROM (1.2 and now 1.3) everyday (personal and work).
Did you do a full wype before switching to the ROM ?
You could use any baseband you want (one of your region is better ), there is no need to flash any stock rom before, only custom recovery is needed to flash.
1.3 doesn't include supercharger, too much instabilities and almost no gain but it's deodex and rooted.

Btw, default language is FR but it include all the " XXUB " stock languages and if i remember well it auto-switch to your SIM/provider language if detected.

Hey, Great work debloating the rom. One issue though... The phone freezes...It happened to me in the game "clash of clans" 7-8 times in a day... And it never did this before.
Anyone else ?

I'm from Philippines and my phone is lock to Smart Communication Network(A SimCard Company).
I've been searching for infos that can help me how to unlock/openline the sim of my xperia v. I went to websites already that offers activation code and send it through email with in 7-15days. But i'm scared of it 'cause i haven't tried doing that ever since. I might went out sending money without receiving anything.
I have a problem also on my phone, the signal is cutting off. It turns on only in a certain place and just capture 2G signal, it detect LTE signal but won't connect. That is why i am trying to unlock the sim may be it can help me solve the signal problem of my xperia v.
So now, is their anyone here who knows how to unlock/openline the sim of my xperia v?
Try mo muna i-repair yung phone mo sa pc companion, check mo rin kung unlock bootloader allowed ka

Sir i tried repairing it to pc companion already.but still thesame..wla pong nangyari..pano po ba macheck kong pwede ma unlock bootloader??
Natry ko na nga po pala pumunta sa smart center pero ang sabi hindi daw po nila alam pano mag openline..
Dial mo yun nasa post, ang alam ko kasi naka lock ang baseband ng simlock na phone, pa check mo sa service center

nakapagFlash na po kasi ako dati eh yung sa Nordic na Firmware Android 4.1.2 tapos nag update po yung firmware to 4.3..
Need po ba i'open ang bootloader?
Pag na Open na po ano po mangyayari sa phone?
Ano po ba maitutulong ng bootloader pag nakaopen sa phone ko?
Magiging openline na po ba ang phone ko kapag na Open po ang Bootloader?

Mag-install ka ng dualrecovery for locked bootloader, i backup mo current system mo, tapos saka mag flash ng latest 4.3 jb

Sir ano po mgayayari after ko po magawa yung sinagest nyo ngayun??
May problema talaga signal ng jb 4.1.2 baka sakaling maayos kung mag upgrade ka ng system
Sir binuksan ko po yung phone ko..ayun po nakita ko yung antenna me sulda na..siguro yung technician na nagpalit ng dgitizer neto naputol nya yung sa sgnal cable..
