tnx m8
..in the meantime, I got the MTeoR and I dont have that theme... IU Version, test only .. only some Qtek background ..

this isn't the right xml file btw; it's the default blue color scheme, not the green one.

anyone can send me the green color sheme for the mteor?? i'm missing it in the new rom!!

HI,
after searching for a while.. and found only "green" schemes but not the juptier scheme...
i have extraced all the content of the nbh -> nb -> imgfs files...
and what should i say... here it is, directly from the 1.13.251.2 Rom what i had flashed on my mteor as i had received the device...
put the xml file in the zip package to \Application Data\Home\
then just go to Start -> Settings -> TodayScreen -> color Scheme
steve

My green is named HTC Defualt.
Dosent everybody got that?

if you wan't that "HTC Default" look in the wiki... skins, dialers etc...
maybe it is the 2nd green i postet there...
but i prefer the jupiter one with my facade background...
the green of jupiter theme is just a little darker... not so flashy as the other green!!!

HTC P3600 WWE Ext ROM

Hi,
I am using DOPOD 1.23.707.6 ROM on my P3600 thanks to DES. However i don't like the default theme. I like to have the HTC Green theme with Comm Manager and every thing. Can any one upload the HTC WWE Extended ROM?
Hi,
I've copied it from my device.
Just was not able to upload it to the FTP.
let me know if you still need it
GreetZ
i need it too
thanks
I would like you to give me please the theme of the dopod because as for me I don't like the htc p3600 green one
I'd be very grateful if someone could cook a DOPOD GPS-enabled ROM and include the HTC ExtROM with it.
THANKS!!
Edit: Ops! I have just seen in another thread that this is now available!!! (But it seems one needs to superCID the device to install the ExtROM....)
Hi Neo-morpheus,
I'll appreciate if you can upload it.
Hi ,
I'll try to upload the HTC P3600 WWE extende rom asap.
It's not that large. It contains the Green HTC theme and I also backupped the commanager cab before flashing mine.
does anybody know how to get the default green dailpad ?
GreetZ
The green dialpad is available from Hermes Extended ROMS already available on server. However the only problem was comm manager.
Cheers.
Hi ,
I've uploaded the extended rom to the FTP
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Trinity/RUU_Trinity_HTC_WWE_1.15.405.5_6275_1.20.00.11_12201_Ship_EXTROM.zip
I've included the HTC theme and commanager in the zip file
Can anybody tell me wich cab file in the extended hermes rom contains the green dailpad ?
GreetZ
Rob

How to dump the 'nk.nbf'?

Would you please teach me how to dump(or extract?) the nk.nbf file into a kitchen? Like this one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311027.

the collection of command line tools in most of the kitchens will do it but they're a PIA to use... recently, ive used the automated tools in the HyperCore kitchen or the new Wizard Service Tool 4.0.... that thing is awesome!
Leshan, the you'll need to use the Hypercore kitchen to do that. I don't think that it is well sorted out instruction-wise, but it does extract the ROM (XIP) as well as the SYS and OEM folders. You might post in his thread or send him a PM as I'm not able to go into detail right now since I'm at work.

Hi, Thank you.
Yes, I have already tried to use Hypercore kitchen to do my job. I tried to Dump the Official T-Mobile AKU3.3 rom take off some trash and add some apps. I know you created a clean AKU3.3. So may I have two questions please:
1. How can I take off the T-mobile dialer skin and use the WM5 default one or even WM6 default one? I tried to replace the 6 'bmp' files and some 'dll' files, I only got the blue dialer skin but no 3D button and no smartdial.
2. How can I replace the old Office with Office 2007?
Thank you.

If you dont want to mess with cooking the rom you can use these cabs..
First one will replace the carrierlogo (with nothing..you wont see it)from the dialer and activate the default wm5 dialer .
Second will enable smart dialing but however you wont be able to use smartdial because the default wm5 skin does not support this ..
If you really want smart dialing you can use the 3rd file which is a wm6-ish skin.Or pick another one from http://www.zombienexus.net
I dont think office 2k7 will work under wm5 maybe i am wrong..
Sorry for bad english...

Leshan, I had to replace all of the .gif files in the OEM camera folder with the files from the original Cingular 2.25 ROM to get the blue smart dialing back. In addition, there are some registry changes that need to be made so the smart dialing highlights will not be pink and grey. You can also replace the Phone Pad with the files from the same ROM (MMS/other apps folder) as well so you totally get rid of the pink and grey.

So, Would you please tell me the name of the folder which have the .gif files. And the registry changes detail?
Thanks. I do not want to just change the registry in the WM5 to disable the Tmobile Dialer skin.

The two folders are 1a8ae8d9-5f48-47a0-9d6d-1731f4ac839a (MMS/other apps) and 71d74e8a-db26-4396-936e-96957645b723 (camera). You have to delete all of the pink and gray .bmp's and then take the blue .bmp's from the Cingular ROM and put them in the camera folder to get blue smart dialing. You'll then have to get the phone pad app. from the Cingular ROM as well. The .rgu file in 71d74e8a-db26-4396-936e-96957645b723 has the color settings for smart dialing. I'll let you find them.

The 'globe' is an image file \Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc which is referenced by the lines
DefaultImagePath="\Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc"
FocusImagePath="\Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc"
in \Application Data\Manila\InternetPortal-en-gb.xml
so if you have the image you would like to substitute just point the DefaultImagePath etc. to point at it.
Note, this is where you get rid of m.yahoo as well if you like, just substitute it with google/pda or whatever.
EDIT: yes this does work - I just tried it
If anyone has the HTC Black globe images or something else nice to go with the HTC Black theme I'd like to try it.
HTH
Kim
Great so we just need the original globe image file from htc rom. Can someone please provide. Thanks!
The original is here:
Code:
DefaultImagePath="\Windows\HTC\Assets\Images\InternetPortal\banner.qtc"
SelectedImagePath="\Windows\HTC\Assets\Images\InternetPortal\banner_selected.qtc"
It should be sufficient to change the entry in the xml-file.

I guess from the OPs question that he has a U.K. Ignito so unfortunately not so in the O2 ROM, there is no ~\HTC folder and no default banner.qtc apart from the one I posted.
Not all "Diamonds" are the same
D'ya like this one?

HELP!
Thank you. You guys are Awesome. I have two problems. One of them is with my HTC Touch Viva. I have downloaded a Manila 2D file (Zip file) in my cellphone. When I open it, which file should I extract? (Explain step by step).
AND the other problem, I AM LAZY AS SHI*.
Please tell me step by step how to install it with skins. I loved the skins. Thanks in advance.
After installing the m2dc, u downloaded the skins in zip files, right?
Now u don't need to extract the zip files, just put them in any folder of your phone and open m2dc. Select the theme from there and wait till the process completes.
Important: Before installing any theme, make sure that u backup your original theme.
Good Luck!!
