Gps and Xda

Hi all. This is my first post on this great forum.
Everyone is very helpfull and just by browsing I have learned alot.
I am a "potencial" Xda owner, eheh, I bought one on ebay and I waiting for it to arrive... and I have been getting ready for it.
My question is about Gps acessories... Can anyone that has used Gps with a Xda (Wallaby) please tell me if it works ok, and please confirm that the only way to connect is through the sync connector (bottom connector).
Thanks in advance.
P.s. I am in Portugal, any special advice for settings?

I need a little info about P3600

Hi, i'm new to this forum, but i've read a lot of threads and posts.
I bought a P3600 2 months ago. And it came with WM6 installed, cause i didn't buy it in a official store, i bought it by internet.
The point is do not like WM6 very much because it has a lot of bugs.
My question is, with WM5 can i use gps? Is there any good reason to use WM6 instead of WM5?
Thanks in advance. I'm from Argentina, sorry for my english
PIORCH
yes wm5 came out with a rom which enabled gps
Thanks for your answer, can you tell me where can i find that rom?
Piorch
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Trinity_Upgrades
in one of the places that says Yes in the GPS column
Thank you very much! That was what i needed. Thanks a lot!

Best Rom for HTC Wizard/MDA Vario?

Hello Community,
today i received my new mda vario from t-mobile. Of course i immediately installed some programms, but thats not enough anymore i want to upgrade to windows mobile 6 or 6.1 if possible. I searched lots of hours in this forum, but i still didn't find a good rom for me.
Could you please help me to find a good rom for me? It should have this "touchflow", to use the phone without a stylus, like an iphone. Other things are not that important...
Thanks in advance for your help.

You should search the WM6 section. You can read a lot of opinions there
I'm using the AMP ROM with very pleasant results (without need to overclock!!)
cheers
there are plenty of "Best ROM" out there...you just need to read and test one by one. There is no 1 so called-best ROM suit every individual. You have to experience it yourself. Last but not least, read before you flash. Everyone here was newbie before, it took sometimes to get familiar. But believe me, all sources are here in XDA.
Good luck and happy reading,
Cheers

Hello, today i got a Raphael (branded by T-Mobile).
It has a Germany keyboard but an englisch operating system. But since i want to write German i would like to use the letters like ÜÖ etc. but it doesn'T work because the keyboard is probably recognized as an english one.
Can anyone help me fixing that problem?
Thanks for ur response. (Didn't find any other thread to that problem :-/ )
