Reset Simlock Count on Hw6515 - Beetles

Does it possible to reset the simlock counter try?
I've a problem with it : Simlock say i've tried 20 times to enter simlock code!
And now i can't valide new code : Ok button stay grey
This happened after i used vBar to kill Simlock task ! Number of try has reach 20 and now it seem to be lock for many days.
If someone can help me... Please cause now i've my simlock code but i can't valide if !

Go into bootloader using mtty.exe, you need to access AT command interpreter, in some htc devices this is done by command 'rtask 7' on others is 'rtask b' (I don't know on the beetles). Should be something like this:
Code:
USB> rtask b <--- go into AT command interface
ate1 <--- type this to enable local echo
atv1 <--- type this to enable verbose output
[email protected]=0,1,code <--- replace "code" with your MSL
[email protected]=0,2,code
[email protected]=0,4,code
[email protected]=0,8,code
[email protected]=0,16,code
[email protected]=0,32,code
[email protected]?40
If the last command returns simlock=00 means it's unlocked, other vaule means is still locked.
No need to reset the counter

[email protected] Doesn't work
Hi,
Thank for your reply but it doesn't work :
[email protected] doesn't seem to be implemented :
USB>h rtask
Usage:

Type(hex) 1: Turn on radio, lease use type 3 and 4 instead.

Type(hex) 9: Run radio external bootloader and [value](hex) is ignore.

Trinity bootloader

i'm using the hermes/artemis reference to see what works and not
first: almost every other commands give the "Command Error"
the wdata exists and gives: Command is Locked!
The first thing will be to get into the radio bootloader - seems that the password is fixed. As far as the bootloader I hope that it can be downgraded.

I tried the SD upgrade method.
I placed an nbh file on it called TRINIMG.nbh but after cheking gaves me "NOT ALLOW" 00028002
Any ideea ?
As your seclevel is FF, the CID on the NBH should be the same on your device. info 2 shows your CID = HTC__102 (HTC Germany), so you need to put an HTC german rom in the TRINIMG.nbh file or CID unlock your device.
Nice work on the bootloader
I've just decoded Trinity radio, it is very very similar to Hermes radio (Same Qualcomm JNAND Identification block), so radio bootloader commands should be the same in Trinity as on Hermes (and radio patch for SIM/CID unlock too!).
Normal bootloader commands should be quite similar too, but not necessarily the same, this is what I found on Trinity's SPL:

excellent. i'm in office only with my trusted Universal (i'll fill up all the info tonight).
from artemis Wiki:
Artemis Bootloader Password
Seems that artemis bootloader password is static: BsaD5SeoA
If you enter this password in mtty terminal, you may not be able to boot device into Windows, only in bootloader. Be carefull.
It's meaning that Artemis has the same bootloader (or similar) with trinity.
The question: why it cannot get out from the bootloader ??

No, if you compare SPL they are very different one from the other.
Trinity's SPL is more similar to Hermes SPL, but Artemis SPL is different.

probably you just need to 'set 14 0' or hard reset to go back to OS, I don't know... the wiki edit was done by fdp24, he can probably explain

seems that the 1.06 is somehow limited as bootloader. how can we get the 1.04 or other upgrade solution ??

Nice work on the wiki decebal
Answers to your comments:
rbmc and lnbs - probably only work on SuperCID devices.
emapi and btrouter - I think it switches to wlan or bluetooth and disables USB connection.
wdata and wdatah - In hermes wdatah is for flash NBH and wdata for flash NBF in preproduction devices. Have you captured a full ROM upgrade using USB monitor?? which one it uses the RUU? Probably it has a dynamic password which enables wdatah for NBH files. Does 'info 3' works as in Hermes (you need to watch usb monitor output, can't see in mtty generally).

Generally by flashing a ROM matching your CID with bootloader 1.04.
rbmc is not in spl in Artemis device. On Trinity probably too.

password BsaD5SeoA - this is static password used during flashing device. (USB sniffer)
battery seems to be charging during bootloader.
If you stuck at bootloader during manipulations with commands, try this:

Alternatively, you can run rom flasher even on CID locked device. It will give you error message about Device ID or something, but your device will be back to normal and boot normally.

Task 29 anyone?

Hi there,
i searched the Blackstone Forums now for about an hour but i didnt find an answer to this question.
Has anyone ever performed a Task 29 with mtty on a Blackstone and did it cure the so called 'wired behavior' issues after flashing?
On my last Device (a Diamond) it was a must ant worked great but i font know if it is dangerous for ours stones.
Latlyvim having the exactly same symtoms as i had with the Diamond. ( System Hangs, missing or dissappearing ringtones, dissappearing grafics and so on) So i thought this could help.
So if you tied it already pls post it here.
Im near the pointof just trying it out but it isnt far from a stone to a brick
I did that by following the Diamond mtty thread, it works on blackstone.
works fine in Blackstone
I've been a mtty user ever since the Diamond and I haven't has any problems what so ever with the HD either.
Commands:
Code:
• press enter
• set 14 0
• task 29
• task 8
Doubt
Hi,
These is the information that gives me when I run MTTY with my Blackstone:
Cmd>set 14 0
HTCST ÚÈÒHTCE
Cmd>task 29
Format BINFS start
Fill RSVD information for block 288 to 321
CE start sector=0x14, total sector of CE and TFAT=0x14
CE start start block=321, total block=3775
ERASE block 1689 FAIL !!!
ERASE block 2107 FAIL !!!
ERASE block 2864 FAIL !!!
ERASE block 2998 FAIL !!!
ERASE block 3357 FAIL !!!
ERASE block 3378 FAIL !!!
Write 0xFF start page=0x5040, total page=0x3AFC0
Format BINFS end
Cmd>task 8
My doubt is that I see many blocks with FAIL...is this correct???
Thanks
Thx
thanks for your replys guys.
I will test it later today and will post the results.

Every Device will output different results so it's not about right or wrong here. You are fine! The next time I flash my next rom I will post my results and because I've done it enough times, I know it is completed different then yours but the final result is the same......that it clears your device of any artifacts regardless of the output
Same here, I followed the diamond thread and it worked without a hitch.
As mentionned in the diamond thread, do not pay attention to the FAILED blocks in the output.
I just performed the Task 29 with slightly different results:
Cmd>set 14 0
HTCST ÚÈÒHTCE
Cmd>task 29

Hi there,
i searched the Blackstone Forums now for about an hour but i didnt find an answer to this question.

[Q] reflash stock in fastboot

Hello,
I bricked my KFHD and it is in a reset loop right now. I got a factory cable and plan to try repairing it via fastboot. I need your kind assistance with the proper commands to flash the stock ROM and get out of fastboot if needed. I know that there are instructions for doing so in the original KF but I am not sure that it applies.
Thanks.

Please describe the "reset loop" you are experiencing.
Well at boot it detects something wrong and it prompts me either to reset or reboot. Regardless of what I choose it always returns me to the same prompt. Meanwhile there is no usb connectivity what so ever. I tried the 20 second hold on the power button but nothing changed

When choosing "reset" does it look like its doing anything or does it just reboot?
Hello!
Ive got the same Q.
Messed up preinstalled keyboard, added some apk to /system/app folder. Now my kindle acts very bad....
Default settings in device section doesn't help. I tried to copy update....bin file to kindleupdate folder but it doesn't help, kindle won't flash (as i've already have last ver)
So, is there any way to flash KHD in fastboot mode, or using update.zip file? Mayby have someth like [UTILITY] Kindle Fire Unbrick Utility V1.1! ?
Thx a lot
It starts resetting and a progress bar shows and completes in a couple of seconds. Then it reboots back to the same prompt
I doubt factory reset would help. If my experience is any indication, factory reset will not undo any changes you did to /system. If you messed it up before resetting, you'll still be messed up after.
I think I messed up the /system and I want to try to reflash it
the good news is once you disconnect the cable the device exits fastboot also it shows up as android adb interface in device manager. but I could not get adb to see it. don't know why. I used the same PC that I used to root it and a mac but could not get adb to see it.

What were you doing in /system before the problem started?
Was trying to install Google play. Not sure where i messed up
Do you still have adb access?
The device shows up in the device manager. But adb can't see them

What does your device manager say?

Well, that's helpful. It says you're in fastboot. Try using fastboot to change your bootmode to either recovery or normal mode and see if you can get a different result.
Shouldn't adb recognize it to work with faatboot or are they separate?
how do change the bootmode? How to change it back?
I tried fastboot reboot but all i got is waiting for device message.

ADB and fastboot are completely separate.
Try "fastboot devices"
fastboot devices shows nothing for me
That's likely an issue with your drivers. Try reinstalling them. Or better yet, try the SoupKit and save yourself some hassle.
