se non ti accende il PDA, carica la Batteria, normalmente dopo 50% si potra flashare
e se non si accende piu, trova un altro
usa LVSW o il Dopot 810 ROM....altro non va

Войдите в сервисный режим бутлоадера, подключите кпк по usb к компьютеру, запустите на нем mtty (предварительно запретив usb подключения в activesync) и выполните комманду "info 2". Результат выполнения - в студию.

ok.. you need to extrac the rar file and then only launch the exe. Remeber to recharge your trinity before flash ROM.
ok.. devi solo estrarre il file rar e lanciare l'exe. Ricordati di avere almeno il 50% di carica sulla batteria perche una decina di minuti ci vogliono.

Any other place to download from? Rapishare has already reached the limit...

In this ROM there's a splash screen with test picture?

i think that this rom can be tim branded because the version number end with 408.1 like the previous version of the tim branded rom.

It's better do not restore any backup after a rom upgrade.
There is a screen with the same test "ONLY TEST" instead of the dopod one.
You can upgrade with SD and SIM, don't worry.

Ciao non ho mai avuto ROM tim, ma credo ci dovrebbe essere lo splash screen della tim e qualche icona ì-tim et similia, invece non c'è nulla. Credo sia no brand

I think the new ROM manage GPS and SDHC, deduces that loading the only part radio these implementations is not managed, is correct?

Trying to set Blackberry connect on Trinity in Italy

Sirs,
I'm trying to set bb service on Trinity.
I'm in Italy, my operator is TIM (I've a business contract)
I've downloaded the file BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_2_1_1_2_45 and installed it on my Trinity.
I was assigned with a PIN and IMEI. I register myself in blackberry website www.tim.blackberry.com.
So I've an account blackberry.
Launched the service in Trinity "Setting" menu.
Something seem to start: "E" for Edge displays two arrows.
It give me an IP address for one second (120.160.39.12) then everything stop.
I noted that:
my "Service List" is empty
In Utility page only the field "register now" is tappable but nothing happens if I tap.
In Option page "connection" is blackberry but it is grey, "detail" shows APN Blackberry.net; user name: rim; password: password; IP Address: 20.51.26.189; remote port: 19781; local port:19780;
in page "PIM", "Calendar" is the only field and it is selected.
in page "Information"
BB version 2.1.2.45
transport version 2.1.0.87
system version 214.253.39.155
Could you help me?
Is there anybody experiencing BB service on Trinity in Italy?

No mi dispiace attualmente non funziona (e non ho ancora avuto il piacere di vederlo funzionante).

I have the same problem with TIM & HTC P3300! I think there is no solution. BB connect generates IMEI and PIN but the bis service sais they are wrong... :-(

[Q] italian unlocked SGS without download mode

Hello,
I got the 3 button issue on my new unbranded unlocked SGS. I cannot reach the download mode.
Tell me if I can provide you some info on my mobile/firmware for statistics.
I would like only to ask you: I understand I can go in download mode through SDK command "adb reboot download". In case of brick during Odin flashing, is it possible to give a second "adb reboot download" command in order to retry flashing operation?!?

I'm sorry but no..no second chances after a bad flash..
To flash firmwares is very dangerous with the lack of 3 buttons comb.
You can see a lot of threads about bricked phones in this forum..
I advise you to not play too much with your phone until someone finds a solution for this.
I'm curious..where have you bought it? I think it's the first italian phone without 3 buttons comb..

Tell them about the non-functional GPS and that the phone is pretty useless for you since you bought only for navigation, geotagging, etc.
The Gps thing is a common issue and they should replace it

This is not a bad idea but..they will replace it with what?! They probably have a stock of "bad" i9000..
There's no harm in trying btw =)

happened to me also, bought it at mediaworld 2 weeks ago. when i realized the issue (thanks to xda) i brought it back explaining that it was a device with a faulty firmware and i showed them the difference with another device with functional 3 buttons combo and also explained the consequences of this missing feature: the possibility to brick the phone even with an official update. i don't think they understood what i've said...they told me to leave the phone because they had to talk with samsung, i told them that i paid 549 euros for a fully functional device, not a faulty one plus 7 days passed so they were obligated to replace my a device with a working one. in the end they gave me another device
morale della favola, se non sono passati otto giorni sono obbligati a sostituirlo, sicuramente faranno storie, ma voi insistete e fate loro capire che sapete il fatto vostro. se sono passati più di otto giorni vi toccherà lasciarglielo e loro faranno da mediazione con l'assistenza samsung. dovete dire la verità (firmware difettoso, se necessario mostrate loro il confronto con un'altra unità) e dire che vi siete informati sul problema prima di portarlo lì, altrimenti riavrete il telefono uguale a prima. se dite che è difettoso il gps loro proveranno il gps e se questo funziona probabilmente si limiteranno ad aggiornare il firmware. non pensate neanche lontanamente di tenervi il telefono così! in bocca al lupo!
p.s. se vi danno un altro terminale provatelo subito di fronte a loro! per semplicità usate la combo per entrare in download mode perchè è più semplice e non potete sbagliare (volume giù + home + power)

I also bought it from Italy from Mediaworld, but it was a faulty one since the Headphones didnt work properly, so I went back (after 1 day..) and they checked it with a new set of headphones and then they gave me a new one..

Oh gosh, i hope this won't be standard for future shipped SGS....
I bought it from an italian seller on eBay. It was, at the time, with XF5 fw. And it has the 3 button combo.

bad luck at the shop, they don't want to change my phone since I break the seal and I opened the box (!!!!!!). I have to come back later to talk with the shop manager, he wants to check the 3-botton issue with Samsung.....

All the european I9000´s with factory firmware (i.e shipping firmware) I9000XXJM1 or newer have "3-button combos" disabled because of new bootloader.

With current releases of Odin... I don´t think so.
With the method Kies uses (SS_DL)... maybe.
At the moment only method is JTAG (copying NAND image from a phone with "3-button combos" working).

JTAG method is quite hard for me.
Which Kies method are referring to? Please could you post a direct link? I cannot find it via search.

this is bull****, how can i check if unit is functional if i can't open the seal? i told you that they would have tried to not replace your unit, but they behaviour is not legal.
oltretutto è tuo diritto essere rimborsato entro tot giorni dall'acquisto. loro contano sull'ignoranza e la pigrizia delle persone ma se gli fai capire che sei consapevole dei tuoi diritti e che sei disposto a ricorrere ad un avvocato vedrai come corrono...i tizi che stanno lì sono "istruiti" a far desistere il cliente in questi casi, a me hanno detto la stessa cosa, a quel punto ho preteso di parlare con il responsabile di persona (visto che aveva dato i comandamenti solo per telefono e non poteva venire perchè "impegnato", questa è tutta una strategia per fregarti), evidentemente hanno capito che non ero il solito fesso e hanno mollato, il responsabile non si è neanche fatto vedere. se lo avesse fatto gli avrei chiesto di firmare una dichiarazione con nome e cognome dove lui si assumeva la responsibilità del rifiuto a sostituirmi il telefono, dichiarazione che ovviamente avrei portato dall'avvocato, ma non ce ne sarebbe stato bisogno credimi
p.s. devi specificare che non vuoi il rimborso, ma un'altra unità funzionante!

Then i was quite lucky. I bought my SGS at Amazon.de last week and got one with JF3 and 3 Button Combo working fine.

lagigia, I bought it at Saturn at Campania too on the 20th of July. I've got the 3 buttons combo and I think it shipped with JF3. You should return it to Saturn with your receipt!

You cannot do it yourself.

I was back to the shop this afternoon, after discussing a bit with the shop manager they let me check all their SGS for the 3-botton trick.
All 5 SGS has 3-button recovery/download mode disabled. GAME OVER.
Samsung starts play Apple, they decided to lock their phone too. This is absolutely crazy. I switch over an iPhone 3GS because I want to do what I want with my phone and they decided to lock phones. They sell hardware, they are not software company! Android is open source too, I cannot understand this change of policy.

Ciao, ho installato la Malaysk e adesso funziona. Non so perchè nella stock non funzionasse
