i use this one:

http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm
try http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm ...I use this website for all my dialpads and I LOVE them...it is difficut to find some that aren't cheesy but these work fantastic and look great. I have a wing as well and it works...it also works on the MDA and the comparable Cingular phones. I imagine they work w/ all the HTC phones WM5 or WM6...I have upgraded all my friends phones with them...good luck and i hope you like them as much as i do.

Anyone changed Roms yet?

If so, which ones are you finding work best with the Tytn II?
Thanks
I'm leaving mine as god intended until some other brave soles test stuff out...
adding voip capability
I am particularly interested in adding VOIP capability, and have read elsewhere that you can simply add the relevant .cab files (or something like that)
Anyone tried that?
ATT Rom
I've flashed mine 3 times now, using the AT&T ROM posted here by Incognitho.
Mine isnt an AT&T branded phone. It works great but I want to try a different ROM that doesnt have all the extra crap AT&T includes.

Got my kaiser today

Just recieved my kaiser today. Its on charge now should be ready for me to go to work. So I am just welcoming my self to the kaiser community
SOME OF MY OWN CUSTOMISATIONS SO FAR.
I hope POF finds away around the CID and hopefully will have olipro input on getting an hardspl ready for kaiser with some donations going to him and POF .
This should give us a first headway of getting some home cooking roms for the kaiser.
Anyways I'm a happy man now. It took me selling my hermes for £200 and upgrading to a nokia n95 and sold it for £280 to get my kaiser I hope its worth it as I really miss my Htc Tytn
UPDATE
My KAISER came with
CE OS 5.2.1620 (BUILD 18125.0.4.2)
ROM VERSION 1.56.405.5
ROM DATE 08/28/07
RADIO VERSION 1.27.12.11
PROTOCOL VERSION 22.45.88.07H
storage
total 133.91 mb
in use 6.43
free 127.48 mb
program
total 101.38 mb
in use 29.73 mb
free 71.65 mb
I still see htc still hasnt fix the ugly 3g icon in their rom
my own kaiser customisations
just doing some quick customisation of my new kaiser thought i would share
1. change windows media player skin
2. change comm manager
3. replace htc x button with latest one
planning to change keyboard to balck one
waiting on mine to get here today (took the day off work and all that). I tracked the package when I woke up, and it said incorrect address. so I call the shipping company, confirm my address, and the lady asks "and the name of the business is tytn?". I was upset when I called in, but that made me do an ell oh ell.
can't wait!

I am very excited to join the Kaiser community as well. I have parted the Athena community and I am glad I got rid of the Athena. I will still continue to help people in the Athena community but Kaiser is where my heart remains. I will stay tuned for HTC Omni. So what should we all new Kaiser users start off by doing? SuperCID unlock? Or is that unecessary for custom ROM usage?
Oh yea I luv my iPhone above all other devices ^^

Maybe we should ask how many Athena guys have ended up here? I am keeping mine for awhile while Keizer takes 1st spot
I'm not able to change the keyboard with a black one. Can you share your cab?
Thank you
Matteo
Welcome aboard!
Are you using this X-Button? Checking it out it seems that it's got a OK/X Bug? Can you verify?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=330046&highlight=HTC+X-Button
For black keyboard, I was turned on the Resco Keyboard Pro, very nice on-screen keyboard!, very flexible/skinnable, with calculator
I've applied JJ's Black theme, Black Dialer, Schaps Com Manager and am loving my Kaiser, a nice evolution from Hermes.
The only function I really miss is Vjay Lumos, we really need a mappable display bright toggle key. The Kaiser's screen is not transreflective and a brightness "bump" would be very helpful while out and about outdoors.

Welcome Duttythroy! I hope you are planning to do some cooking on the Kaiser...your help in tweaking the ROMs would be greatly appreciated. I haven't made any customizations on mine yet (other than changing the WM skin and installing a crapload of software).
The CommMgr one is the one I want the most. I want one that just essentially adds the 3G button to the existing one in the open space on the window. Other than that, I'm quite happy with it stock at this point. But I'm sure new cooked ROMs will add lots of tweaks that will make it even better...

Agree about the PIE bug.
GPS - I wonder whether it's worth a hard reset and a re-run of the quick GPS for you. I only say this cos mine, even indoors is very good at holding a signal using tomtom at least.
Mike
Same here. No problems with GPS. Amazing work with TomTom

Making a call...

Can Shift make a call???
No, it can't, unless you use Skype etc.
Hopefully, in time, a solution will be found - it will require a cooked ROM, but until a way is found to get access to the Snapvue side, it's not going to happen.
snapvue would actually be very very usefull with calling and full wm6.1 running. as it is, mmmmm ive been trying to think how i would use snap view at all...................i get all my mail on my treo 750, heh my treo has more functionaily than snapvue wm.
Uhm...really I can't understand this kind of commercial policy. I remember when Shift was supposed with two complete OS on board. In that case I'd have bought it, but now really I will not.

sure... if you manually issue ATD...
Oli! When are you getting a Shift to work on?

Now that we have broken down the walls of snapvue and have access to full wm6 (minus gps, calling, sd card and wifi) it has become a much more useful device.
I think the first thing to be addressed is the sd card slot, without storage we are limited in what we can use it for.
you do realize ATD was a joke it of course works to initiate a call, but a bit more is needed than that (assuming you want to use a real program for the phone), but no worries. as for when Olipro can get a shift... he and me are part of the shift project, so let's hope that project works out.
No chance!
Very bad...I have Shift /2 pcs/ ,there is option call, but when i tap the screen, device do nothing....I hope ...developers will give us some solution.....?!

Rumours about voice calling
Heard a rumor from somone quite close to the devteam , seems that we stand a very good chance of getting real voice on the Shift anytime soon.
It will be more than I asked/hoped for.

Stock Exchange app to HTC Touch Diamond

Hello!
Anyone know if there is a Stock exchange application on the Touch Diamond?
Just like the one in the IPhone.
Feltherre

*sigh*
Im getting used to that response. Theres simply nothing new these days that works WITH the Diamonds VGA screen rather than against it.
Im seriously beginning to wonder why I bought a Diamond.

Okay so whats the solution for the stock exchange app then? There isnt one.
There are no damn apps being developed anymore for WM especially on high end VGA devices.
I too would like a decent stock exch app.. if im moaning over nothing, point me in the right direction and i'd gladly shut up
Well it wasn't a good app.I better just wait for a better app to come a long.

I can only see about 1/2 of the cells vertically. I guess it only works if you reduce your text size in windows... but then the phone itsn't finger friendly anymore.
yes,i also have that problem.
Try this:
http://www.pocketx.net/products/pocketstockmonitor_ppc/index.html
I used on my Kaiser and use in my Diamond...
Works perfect.
It has only one issue...
SOmetimes, when you starts the program, there is a fade on the screen... But you have only to press the power button twice and the programs goes well...
Would be great if HTC Home has a tab for stock exchange and share price update. HTC did it for weather, why stop there. Stock price should be next.
Yes,i agree. Hopfully a application that will work perfectly with the TouchFLO 3D.
Stock App Think Anywhare
I use Think Anywhere from Think Or Swim, its pretty cool, but is more than just quotes, Its a whole trading platform. Need subscription, but no deposit requiredment. You can do Paper trading with it.

ROM with Blackberry Connect

Hi guys,
Anyone know if one of the cooked roms works with Blackberry Connect yet?
It's killing me that I can't get this app working
John.
Would be interested in this one as well, won't need to carry 2 phones around then
Same here. Have tried last version of BBC but as I understand it wont work untill BB adds the hd to there allowed phones or something. They have to add IMEI numbers, I heard. So sw works but you cant register it at BB.
