because i have a lot of trouble with cid unlocking my vario, i want to ask if anyone has an old t-mobile rom for me.
according to

there should be an MDA_Vario_1060202_103_11210_TMNL_Ship.exe
Is anyone out there who can help me get that rom, so i can try to downgrade my device?

I do have a G3 1.06 version but it's WWE. If it suits you then let me know and i'll upload it to rapidshare.

I know, but I put it on my own webpage, since it was less work than uploading it to rapidshare, megaupload or something similar. Besides, links on those websites usually don't live very long (unless you're willing to pay for a premium membership).
Of course, I've you're willing to host this ROM for the whole community, I'd happily supply you with a copy.

If you had checked the download link on the site to which you are directing people, or read other postings on the topic, you would know that the download link is still, at the time I'm writing this, for the old ROM. Someone jumped the gun at Cingular and HTC will not be posting the ROM until Monday.

If you had checked the download link on the site to which you are directing people, or read other postings on the topic, you would know that the download link is still, at the time I'm writing this, for the old ROM. Someone jumped the gun at Cingular and HTC will not be posting the ROM until Monday.

Actually the properties for the download link indicate the new ROM and not the old 1.8. The file is corrupted. End of story.

Well, lookey here. Cingular will offer an update in the near future that, much the same as the Palm Treo700W update, won't wipe out your device! I was hoping they would do this!

My bad. Browser cache let me down.
It's the NEW rom but the self extracting archive is damaged. Damn!

I can guess, ....It's a 3.2 ROM developed by Molksi and Faria, which can only be used by the chosen ones who received the password for it.
It's a Molski test ROM with the Faria/Bebe 3.2 base.
It's password protected and I'm not sure if Molski's going to release it.
(hint - don't PM him for the password)

I thought so. Can't wait till it will be released (if it's going to be released). Im running moslki 2.26 +cf2 now. works better for me than faria 3.2. I had some problems (the gsm part wasn't working so well)

Noone is going to give you the password. This is the BETA version and it is for BETA testers only. You'll have to wait until when/if the final version is released, just like the rest of us.
hmm thats interesting... labeled 30mb and with faria base i cant have (with 8megs paging pool) more than 26mb - and faria says "its normal - its for minisd card"
without card i have realy 29mb but.. hmm maybe something had changed from last release....

Yes, I've searched the forums and can't find it. HTC's site keeps timing out after mad download speeds of 2K on my 6MB cable. I need to reinstall so I can return the phone, as the screen has lost it's touch.

Ok, so I couldn't find my 2.25.11 radio rom installer (the one from the htc website) I have tried several time to download a new one, but after it downloads and I run it. Its a corrupted package. basically anyone have another download link, I have looked and searched not found on the forums.

Looks like I can't get it on here. I don't have an FTP client handy, so I can't UL it to the FTP. I saw it there but I do not know if it is corrupted or not.

Here is a link to another users website who I thank in advance for having it and apologize for posting without permission. He has it in his signature, so it is available to anyone, but still should give credit where credit is due.
Is anybody else coming in to an error where even if you have download crutch installed you can't finish the download all of the way, it only happens from RapidShare and unfortuantly most of the devs use RapidShare can somebody explain what's going on

Because I'm using a g1 and I figure it must be a problem with it since I have download crutch going it should work but it doesn't
