hey sorry man was a little confused as to where to post it .
ya i know i saw that thread however HP never put out an official upgrade cos they introduces the 69XX series . and theres no probs with the specs as hp provides an upgradefor 63XX which is an older model that the 65XX series.
so any one with an unofficial rom please let me know.

tell you what, we'll all help you upgrade...if you still can't do it yourself, if you can tell us WHY you want to upgrade to WM6.
Or just go back to school so you can learn to read all the DAMN STICKIES!!!!

i too am a novice to mods for pocket pcs. fortunately for me i have experience in regular pcs and the others are right if every member spent all their time "holding your hand" then there would never be mods made. Basically just browse around and read a few posts and search out ones from guys like faria and you won't be disappointed.

The easiest thing to do is go to the specific forum for your phone and start reading. Here is the link.

As far as which is the best wm6 rom, that is normally a matter of personal opinion. Some want a rom with everything already in it, and others want a rom with bare minimums so it is extremely fast. Read the posts and you will see what is available and how other users of that rom feel about it.

I dont know where this goes, but, i want to install android on ativ 3 , is that possible, what version do you guys recommend? should i install clean or rooted? do i need a keyboard or the ativ bios works? ty!

Ativ 3 ? link to that phone please.
I would go for Donut , and when you hacked the "bios !!! " you are almost there.
so your steps to do:
hack IPL bootloader.
hack sbl1.
hack sbl2.
hack sbl3.
hack UEFI.
make drivers for the whole OS.
build a rom.
boot android.
have fun and please post here again when you have it booted

Unfortunately at this time, installing another OS on the phones other than what is already there. I'm a little confused with the ATIV 3 device. If you're speaking about the ATIV Tab 3 and not the ATIV S Windows Phone, then this is the wrong forum location.
If you can reply back with some clarification, I'll be glad to help.

This one comes with w8 preinstalled but i ... hate ... windows 8. And i wanted an alternative to this software on a tablet that has a really good hardware and a lot of memory and hdd to spare, iknow that dual booting is possible but apparently only with androidx86, thank you for your answers
