Known bugs:
-There are some issues if flashed to a wing. Read here if you flash this rom to a Wing. (also in tips 1)

Tips 2:
There is HTC Audiomanager, but also wmp, you can open the player and go to options, choose the skin tab, wait for search, then you can choose a touch skin to make it match with the touch theme.
Tips 3:
Go to programs/TouchFlo then activate Tom Codons TF-settings to choose how the cube will be activated (YOU HAVE TO DO THIS, if not the cube wont start):

IF you brick your phone (Brick=the phone can be used as a building brick, or maybe a paperweight? Because you cant start it up.) Its no others fault but your own.
Mainly the reason for bricking a phone is:
1. Not reading the instructions good enough
2. Not following the instructions.
3. Not having a RUU that can unbrick the phone (the official installer with the official rom for your specific phone, with your phones default language. In.ex if yu have a german phone by default, you need a german RUU, if not you will get invalid vendor error)
4. Not reading the instructions good enough..again
5. Not following the instructions...again
If you dont understand after reading CAREFULLY, then dont bother flash your device with this or any other rom.
I also recommend to use the pagepool changer found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324955
I did nothing to the pagepool, because ppl have different experience with diffrent size on the pagepool, so thats why I leave that up to you
to find the correct pagepool size for your device.

Because i want Touch-IT functionality but not the total commander, obviosly....
I'd also love an almost naked rom (with only the TouchIT and HTC stuff but without the apps psSHUTxp, Batterystatus, Total commander and Pim backup.)

As far as I understand, you can only remove the programs if you cook your own rom. And not everybody is able to do that..... (like me, for example)
id like to create a touchflo rom by myself. but where can i get a clean rom with nothing on it then the os? are you always taking the original htc rom to modify?

THIS ROM IS COOKED FOR P4350
If you choose to install on other models of herald, I cant fix anything for you. Cause I do not have any other herald models, so I cant cook one that works for you, because I cant test what I do to it.

To have my language with wm6, I have to use official...using wwe, you can use others, search the herald wm6 section, theres supposed to be a clean base rom here somewhere.

Had problems to boot up, but solved anyways.
This looks great, but is some slower than the original WM6 rom.
Would have to say; yes it is slower, but that is because it is for a phone that has more cpu power. Overclock and you will find that it works nicely

Just installed this Norwegian ROM. I've been looking at the Touch-IT WWE thread and there have been some discussion about the finger scrolling not working in the former version. I have the same problem in this NOR version. Can't find any solution to it other than you cooked a revised version WWE. Is there any solution to this other than reflashing ?

I have flashed this version 3 times, in one of the flash the scroll didnt work, I think its related to the htc home I used on it, I have been working on a new one, testing it now. and i have flashed it 3-4 times without issues with the new homebrew I now use
so this version I now use will be tested for a few more days, where I will try to eliminate bugs when and if I find them. But im pretty sure when I release it, that some will have bugs/issues, and some wont, some will experience it fast, some slow..
but for now, its the most stable and fast that I have built.

no I cant do that, you have to flash a new os with touch built in.
you can find info on how to if you read the diffrent threads about touchroms.

I think I just found out why the fingerscrolling in TouchFLO don't work sometimes.
I installed PDAVIETS .15 ROM and the fingerscrolling worked nicely, but after i customized it to my preferences the scrolling stopped working. I started to go backwards in my config and when i changed the scrollbars back to thick rather then thin, the fingerscolling started working again.
Can anyone else check this out ??

1. Start your device in bootloader mode by pressing and holding down:
DPad + PowerButton + ResetButton
After a second release ResetButton, then release the rest of them.
Your screen will show word "Serial" at the top.
You are in bootloader mode now.
2. Run TofClock_HIMA_WM6_AKU.0.7.exe then click install, Wait till finish.
3. Hard reset your pda.
Press ResetButton and hold down CameraButton + RecordButton.
Hold them pressed until the "Boot Options" menu appears on the screen.

Download my modified theme - DarkVisions. It's almost the same, as HTC default, but with added wallpaper with HTC logo.
helmi_c i found a little problem with this rom of yours which ur previous rom didnt had. HTC Kaiser's 10buttons Comm Manager worked perfectly in ur pervious WM6 rom but in this doesnt even get installed. When i install it it gives me following error:
"Installing was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions."

hehe.. well actually i found that Comm Manager of Touch & Kaiser to be v.cool looking and it matches all the look of HTC Home & stuff.. so i use to use it.. it worked perfectly in helmi's last released rom but for some strange reason fails to install in this one. Do you know what the problem could be?

you just have to make sure that that the current comm manager & the Network Wizard arent running. Kill those processes from task manager b4 proceeding ur install.

Touchflo does not start until you launch it.
AND
It gets disabled once you soft reset your device. So it should not be any hurdle in my opinion.
that i know..but what i meant is that the Config file is already in the windows directory..so the Cubes donot overright the config file which confuses both the apps and neither of them work....
I've not yet tried shekhar's or this efsane wm6.1 ROM (BTW thanks a lot you both and those who've helped you) but I do agree with ather that (F)Touchlo(like) tools should not be part of a ROM. I like my Windows folder as clean as possible. I don't care about "wasted" ROM space.
OTOH I would like to see more RAMdisk space.

Hi c_shekhar. First of all my hats off to you for creating a great rom. If only I had extra money now, I would donate to you as a token of gratitude, nevertheless, i will do so in the future when budget permits.
When you mentioned TouchFlo, is it the original TouchFlo or is it efrost's fTouchFlo?
I am using your rom and see that in the \windows folder fTouchFlo is there.
Another thing, if it is indeed efrost's fTouchFlo, which version did you include?
I am having trouble installing fTouchFlo v 1.4.1 because it says it cannot uninstall the previous installation.
Any suggestions as to how I can get around this?

agree it would be better without touchflo....maybe bundle touchflo as a cab file for those who want it, but many of us have our own interface requirements (eg pointui) in which case this is a waste of storage space and may cause conflicts.
so far its the only thing stopping me from installing 6.1

the best way to start is the WIKI..go there and read read until u drop..after that read the FAQ page for the Terms used here and then if u dont understand anything ask..as for upgrading the instructions are clearly given out with the ROM u download..

How to get the Touch-IT Xperience:
Hard-SPL is needed if you wanna flash custom roms
-Info on Hard-SPL here
My tips on how to flash a custom rom:
-Do not let battery be below 50%
-Keep the device on a secure location (so that it wont fall and loose connection to your pc during flash)
-Enter bootloader (rainbowscreen) pressing power button and volume down simultaneously (hold the buttons untill you enter bootloader)
-Connect to pc (activesync)
-Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow onscreen instructions
Please read here to get the best xperience with my roms
-Do a Hard-reset after flashing is done
-Wait with installing any apps/progs until you have tested the performance and stability of the rom.
-Tweaks and regedits are allready set to max up the performance, if you install tweaking cabs or other performance cabs, they might not
work well with this rom, and can ruin the performance of the rom.
-Before reporting bugs, try think before you post; is it related to something you have altered?
-Missing programs is not a bug. I do not wish to have comments on why this and that are missing. Get a cab..
More Info
-Opera that is cooked in is not supporting HW keyboard, install Opera from X1. But note that this will disable other functions like in.ex push internet.
-The HTC camera is set to 5mp res. Change this to 3, or else it wont work.
-Sollution to change right softkey found here
-Dialer do not have lanscape supported. This is because we dont have one that works with this manila.
Flash via micro-sd method

Maybe you should have read the first post (or the title of this thread for that matter). He says this is Norwegian, and that it's a customised version of the WWE Touch IT v7, which you can find here. Can't be that hard to find?

for those of you who've flashed this can you check to see if you have the old sms issues (as reported in touch-it v5).. Where sometimes sms wouldn't notify.
I'm interested as this rom has jblend in it, which was what caused the issue, but hopefully Itje's worked around it with this one.. that way we can use jblend in the wwe roms as well..

Well i flash to this rom for about five min and went to the command manager and notice that there wasnt any sign of a 3g on and off switch... big turn off for me flashing back to josh nice rom while it last hope u add the on and off feature and your next update...

Hey bro, don't let that be the reason 2 not try this bad ass lookin rom. use advance config, menu, more settings, comm manager and select 3g, soft reset. Easy

It is a normal zip file. You can use your fav unzipping program or grab &zip ( its free and alot of people here use it )

in regional settings under time style, i cant change to American standard, which is the 12hr system. only options available in the menu is H:mm:ss and HH:mm:ss. is there a fix for this.
