HTC Touch Rom -- Has anyone started on it?

Has anyone started on it? let's keep all Touch/TouchFlo info in this topic and any findings/flashing/etc.
aSerg, you should try to make a rom with the HTC Rom and see if it works out
They got everything working on the wizard except the actual touch movement, etc.

haha yeah i guess you can say that but basically they have everything installed EXCEPT the touchflo process, thats a big step cause all they need to do is implement that, if possible
the homescreen and everything of the Touch has been recreated and ported to the wizard and the hermes, just want people to start it for the Herald!

You can use the Homescreen Plug-in and Dialer on any windows based device. It's not Wizard specific. Unfortunatley once they actually get a ROM working, it will be Wizard specific.

yeah i tried the homeplugin and it was slow and the weather only worked on WiFi

For me the todayplugin only showed a seperator line. nothing else. and when i click into the field i´m redirected to calendar. but there are no symbols.
So it is not working.

It doesn't work on WM5 papamopps
You're gonna have to upgrade to WM6 to try it

I have the one and only original WM6 - because it is on XDA terra from beginning as O2 sells it only with WM6.
Where do you think is the ASERG WM6 from. He took my german WM6 ROm and made an english and russian version out of it.
lol.
But no matter.

Homeplugin is working.
I had to rename 2 files from xxx.0409.mui to 0407.mui the german version.
Like i did for HTC AudioManager.
Now it is working - and i will give it a try. Perhaps it is better than SPBmobileshell - perhaps not.
We will see.

hey guys,
i am new to this and would like to know how and if it is possible to reinstall my touch with an english rom. I bought the touch in holland (where i live) but i want to use the device in english. any help would be appreciated.

What programs have you installed?

I think it could be fun to know which programs ppl have installed on their s730.
Myself i have the following :
AgendaOne (calendar)
Google Maps
Opera (browser)
Resco Explorer (file explorer)
resco Photo Viewer (photo viewer)
SBSH Facade (homescreen plugin)
SKtools lite
Thunder Flashlight (flashlight)

where can i get this thunder flashlight?
Have you seen the Free CABs post? I'm pretty pumped to get the black theme going.

Humm... that's no good. I don't have the phone yet
One file is a theme... the other is the home plugin.

I installed it, nothing happens EXCEPT Russian (or something) can be seen when I start my phone (just for 1 second instead of START).
Big flavor, are you Russian? I hope u didn't send us a virus

The HTC Home screen was preinstalled on mine S730...

I am not russian, and I'm not trying to start a cold war on your phone.
I got both of those files from freewarepocketpc.com
It only installs the russian language pack? That's pretty crappy. Well... according to ^that guy the home plugin comes by default. and looking at the home screen posts, it is apparent.

Word Completion in Dutch

Hi All,
I have the Dutch version of the Diamond.
MS has disabled the word completion and spelling check in the Dutch version of the OS.
In the WWE version I can just replace the dictionary with the Dutch version and every thing will work fine.
is there a possibility to enable word completion in the Dutch OS?
Installing the "Dutch Language WM6.cab" will not work.

This works nicely, the same as I used on my Cruise. 'Problem' however, what the guy in that thread also says, is that the language name is now shown in the keyboard properties.
If you change the t9 language via the custom htc menu it does show 'Dutch' as title.
Would be nice to find out how it shows the name in both menu's, but on the other I dont really care, as long as it works
One of these days I'm gonna make a nice cab for this, but first I need to have some time to do it. And when working near 80 hours a week, time is not something I have

I think that the Libraryx must be in right ordedr forthe language to show up

This will not work with the original WM keyboard.
I have the dutch version of the ROM T9 with HTC keyboard and word completion is working
I like to use the standard WM keyboard + spelling checker.
I think in the ROM there are some parts missing...in WM5 dutch version this option was available.
Best is to replace the ROM with WWE..

I know there's a problem with Pocket Islam and the Teeter game, however have you tried Imaginet's Quran?

Yes i tried both of them and didn't work .... something's wrong with the arabic font support with the imaginet quran....

Pocket Quran works well on my Diamond.

A long time i have worked with SPB shell on my diamond,
But after a while it gets slow and boring
So i went searching and i found things about 3d touthflo or manila.
So is there someone who can tell me what is the latest version of HTC home software for my diamond?
And where can i get it

you get tf3d with your diamond go to settings, today, untick the box next to spb mobile shell and tick the box next to touchflo 3d

speaking to people like that will not get you anywhere if you wanna be like that use google
its not htc home & you cannot install another version of tf3d over an existing version, if you want a newer version you will have to flash a new rom
