Task Switcher WM6 - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Windows Mobile 6 Upgrading

Hi guys!
Does anyone know of a nice lightweight task switcher i can use with the WM6 ROM
Someting that integrates nicely into the system??
Ive been looking around, but cannot find anything good.
(I found Tman, wich is quite good, but theres a bug in the menu bar!)

Try Wisbar advance 3
It may be big but ok without skin!

Create shortcut to soft reset

Hi all,
Did a search on reset/softreset cab and all sorts... Cant seem to find it!
Is there a cab or way to create a shortcut to softreset?
I installed a rom on a HTC Touch which came with it on the start menu but I couldnt figure out how to get this on my Kaiser.
I think some of the Kaiser roms do have it however I am not prepared to (for once) upgrade to another rom as I am more than happy with the HTC one (again, for once!)
Any help appreciated
Cheers
psShutXP is the best.
Light off, screen off, soft-reset, shutdown.
HI,you can use this software and create a shortcut with any launchers.
thanks man
Great solution for Xperia

Taskswitcher on Taskbar?

I searched via google search here and i found many task switchers, like
Dinarsoft Handy Switcher, PDA2k and pbar1.4 but what i'm looking for is a free version of something like what wisbar advance does. I want my active programs to show up on the taskbar...like in between my start button and my battery/clock.
Anybody know of a free program that does that? i don't like having to click a drop down box with the active tasks.

Try that.
Pretty much perfect! I like it!
Thanks!

You did a great job. I really apreciate the big buttons and controls as they improve using the Shift in my car mount.
I haven't found any bugs so far.
Thanks
I didn`t found any bugs either. Some icons are crappy but that is nothing. Awesome rom, thanks!
Thank you for this ROM I believe it has good collection of tools & important softwares.
I'm downloading it X will be more than happy to post suggestions & ideas.
In the meanwhile, I'm wondering what is the use of internet sharing tool? Isn't already 'the vista, connected to the internet?
thank you very much.
If you are using for example Ubuntu on your shift you need internet sharing to connect to internet using 3G.
Thanks Gullum! Wll try this over the weekend. Is PowerPoint included? didn't see it in the list of Office Apps.
Brill
hello,
Thanks for the awesome ROM.
I agree with you totally that this is how the WM side should be - finger friendly and quick. This is my preferred ROM.
Yes,powerpoint is included
is there any tools to change resolution?
Very nice ROM. Thanks for reliving this forum
thanks, nice rom
Very nice rom, but mic still don't work..
Brill
The dictionary program Merriam-Webster installs and runs great on this ROM. It is free in its trial mode.
I also installed Youtubeplay, which is a bit of a chore with the screen resolution. I might install the VGA resolution changer so that I can change resolution, as I do rather miss the extra sceen space in google maps.
I also found the screen rotation to be a handy tool, so I am going to install quick menus or something similar.
gullum
thanks for the awesome ROM. Did you try to port XIP from the chinese RAW files that I posted in a different thread? I vaguely remember that MIC was working in that ROM. ROM version is 1.33.xxx Chinese Traditional. Even alex_time also confirmed that he saw that in his Italian ROM. He also posted the RAW files and posted the links for them in a different thread.
Thanks again

[Skin] WM6.5 Skin for WKTASK - make your close/ok button look like WM6.5

This is for all you people that love the WM6.5 Close/OK buttons but don't like want to use WM6.5 right now because of all it's errors.
Requirements:
WKTASK 1.2.*
Installation:
1. Copy the PNG files onto your PDA preferable to a folder within your My Documents to make things easier and more organised (e.g. My Documents\Themes)
2. Then open your WKTASK preferences (Open WKTASK in your startmenu and then hit your right softkey for the menu)
3. Goto the Skins tab and tick "Use a skin File for X/OK buttons
4. Find the PNG files for WKTASK (From step 1)
5. Press OK
NOTE:
The VGA/QVGA skins might differ from one another as i made the VGA skins AFTER the QVGA ones without a PSD so they will differ most likely.
First 2 attached images are (W)QVGA, the last 2 are (W)VGA.
PS: If there is a thread for WKTASK skins on XDA, please pm me lol.
Thanks for these. They look fantastic.
Good work indeed! Thanks,
Dave
Hey thanks.. looking great! good work!.. btw.. maybe it would be a good idea to get a WKTask themes thread started.. i haven't ever seen any other themes or skins for this great program.. but then again.. i haven't really looked around for them specifically...
speaking of wktask, does anyone know how to disable the taskbar feature? I only need the launcher

Woops my bad lol, it should be 1.2.*
Also, I do agree that a WKTASK skins thread would be great... WKTASK isnt even mentioned on that giant themes thread lol but i shouldnt be the one to do it because I only ever do small inspired pieces and im sorta going through uni now.
sorry to use this thread for this, but its completly related and found none other that mentioned both things together...
Did anyone found a fix or work-around to the closing of the wm6.5 start menu on wktask?
I'm using the TODAY shortcut myself, because if we close it on wktask... it remains closed until a reset is done.
Ahh, you're getting the error where if WKTASK is installed on a WM6.5 System it will refuse to open the honeycomb start menu after a couple of minutes. I don't think ANYONE has found a solution to this yet.. might wanna start a thread on Q&A and see if you get any hits.
no no, wktask works great... its just that, it works too good, lol...
It REALLY closes the start menu, leaving it impossible to reuse without a reset.
I want to add it to the exception list, buts is not a EXE file.
Already sent a email (in english and japanese) to the support team, but no answer for now... :/
start menu problem
if set the wktask to minimize on tap in the wktask options and use htc task manager to close on tap then it should work. it worked for me
I posted that on a new thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509160
...and already anwsered there. That work-around doesnt work on the OK button, only on close.
I've been using WKTask on 6.5 with Quickmenu as my start menu, I actually dont like the honeycomb, its too slow to scroll. But then again I have always used Quickmenu and I dont know if I could ever do without it.
good work ... thanks a lot
Thank you very much for this skin Aegishua. I'm going to use it in my WM6.1 ROM for the Rhodium
Will post the credits to you, link to my ROM is HERE.

Favorites WM 6.5

Hey, new to the forums. Everything here is pretty awesome too. Learned how to flash my ROM and radio through here and found various fixes! But unfortunately, I have one problem.
I searched before I asked, google too! Promise!
I installed a WM 6.5 ROM (Energy ROM) and this favorites tab seems to be pretty useful... Except that I can't add any programs to it. When I tap change, it shows a list of apps (mostly shortcuts to various things that are useless) But no way to add my own favorites. I'd love to have BeeJive and Opera in the favorites tab but I can't seem to add them in here. Advice and help would be great.
Thanks a lot.

Check in the development and hacking forum, I think there is a custom panel called "cLauncher" that will let you set up any links. If not, try using chome editor to add any panels/links you need.
The cLauncher program was great! Thanks a lot.
