Where to get the 4-1 Cable other than Expansys

I live in Singapore and would like to buy the 4-1 cable for my new Dopod U1000. I looked at the Expansys page and discovered that it costs UKP13.x and the international shipment costs UKP22.x ... I really don't want to pay UKP22.x shipment for something that costs less... I am assuming HTC makes this cable as well in Taiwan. Can it be sourced there? I happen to be flying to Taipei on Monday for business. Thanks for your help.

shipping is way too much expensive !!! are they using instant transformation and that makes it so expensive !!! I can't belive it that shipping is o expensive !! those guys there really think that they can make money through shipping and make a bigger instant transmation so that they can do it with humans? !!

maybe you can ask people in US or UK to buy it for you then post it to you

Only international shipping option on these sites are 3-4 day DHL etc and hence the price. Given all this hardware is made somewhere in Asia I can't believe there is no where I can source this item...
wu5262, with your close links to HTC, can you confirm whether this cable is made by them in Taiwan or OEM'med somewhere out of mainland China etc?

these cables are made by a Taiwanese Company, but i think the warehouse is in China

Cheap HAHAHAHAHAHA NO WHERE! Even when ATT has it for $499, I wouldnt call that cheap...cheaper than unbranded Kaiser...but not cheap.

spoke to someone over at phonesource-usa.com, and he told me that the phone would be in monday, sept. 17 . I'm planning on buying it in person (the store is a block from one of the places i slave at) and was told that if i paid cash instead of credit, they'd sell it for whatever the website price was at (currently $779.95)... $60 savings... Win?

Has anyone bought the kaiser at a decent price recently? From the feedback in the forums, tursted web stores are a lot more expensive Even ebay is getting expensive...

I got mine from Orange (in the UK). My contract just expired - I spend about £50-80 per month and I negotiated 300 minutes, 500 text, 30MB data per month with unlimited data at evening and weekends for free, plus I got the phone for free as well!
The only other vendor in the UK that I know is selling the Tytn II is T-Mobile. Hit Orange with T-Mobile's web n walk service and they will probably bend a little, especially if you talk to the cancellations department - they will do everything they can to stop you leaving...

I got mine from egadget depot .com price match available and honest merchant with fast shipping.

Cheapest I found was £428 inc P&P at http://www.handtech.co.uk/

in case you haven't noticed, agoyeneche is based in Dallas, TX, US...not UK and $931.03 delivered to the US is hardly a good deal

I own a small business. I recently moved 25 lines over from Sprint to AT&T. This was via an authorized dealer (AT&T franchise). They gave me my Tilt for $300.00 bucks. I will never deal with a corporate store again. It's almost like they have more freedom to do what they want in order to win business. My friend moved his family plan over from Tmobile to AT&T with the same franchise and they gave him the same deal as me.

Got mine from craigslist. Brand new at&t tilt for $400.00 even. best deal ever.

got mine for 300 euro's at a place they call the black market they sell all sorts of things before the official release date and for a reasonable price oya and thats only the phone with no contract or monthly payment it used to be the vario 3 but i sim unlocked it and flashed it with the dutch rom

that was in the when they first had it, with discounts. Now it is the lowest price, no more discounts

There getting 499.00 at the att stores here. Retail ,no contract needed.
Add in 6% tax and 15 bucks to unlock it and your at 534 grand total.
Just walkin and walk out with a new phone.
What gets me is how someone would pay over 600 plus shipping on Ebay for the same thing (locked to att also). And theres alot of buy it nows on ebay over 600 bucks for a tilt. I must be missing something, I dont understand that.

OK whats the lowest price available for the tytn ii not the att tilt?

I have bought 4 units so far for family and friends. For Shops I would recommend Inkino Ltd at 48 Tottenham Court Road and 9 Great Russell Street. They recently had deals for HTC TyTN II P4550 Kaiser and 6GB Micro SD for £499.95.
I have also bought a unit from www.htcdirect.co.uk I was impressed with their speedy service, responses to my email queries and the unit turned up very nicely packaged. I will be using them in the future too. The only reason I went with HTCDirect was that Inkino had sold out at the time. Its always good to know more than one good source.

You won't find the Kaiser in the US for $500. I'd say $600+ at best. But you can get a Tilt for less.

I was able to talk AT&T into giving it to me. Of course my cell bill is 200 + every month and I have 3 phone with unlimited data plans. So it was not a loss for them at all.

I think you should also say if it is an HTC Tytn II or an ATT Tilt .
I bought the HTC Tytn II here in Stockholm (Sweden) at my local shop (my friend works there) and I paid 2600 SEK which is roughly 420 USD.

htc tytn II 5500 Norwegian kroner, 1017.5 US Dollars, 691.697 Euros. I payed half and then the rest was split up over the next 12 months. Costly, but hey, a beer costs 12 dollars in this god forsaken place, so a 1000 dollars isn't that bad anyway...

Pre-ordered mine for £439 back in July and my shiny new TyTN II turned up on 5th September.
Now I'm bored and impatiently waiting for my next HTC upgrade...

5 Euros from orange France!!! Could not beleive it myself. I was quoted 130 euros when called.
Orange has this nice concept where they use your past usage as a discount towards new phones, rather than force you into the future...Unlocked it a week later.
All you have to do is find a nice friend who has had heavy bills with Orange in the last few months...
