alright fellas, i admit defeat.
i got a AT&T Tilt
rom ver. 1.57.502.2
and none of the tomtom's work (6_032_8351) tell me my rom needs updating.
i know a few have stated it has worked on theirs but not mine.
so what the hell am i doing wrong? do i need tt home? how or can i download via tt home.
please all you gurus help would be appreciated, i want to enjoy the tt along side you!!!

Pdaviet 4 has alot of bugs and i mean lots of them the most stable version is Pdaviet 3 and the underground version.Pdaviet version is the most stable i have been using it foe along time never ever had any problems and also it is faster then Pdaviet4. today iam going t try the underground version see whats the difference between that and Pdaviet version 3. everyone asks about these two versions see bellow !!! Here are both of them u can download:

I tried it and found the sound was intermittent. Sometimes sound would come several seconds after visual indication of a call. Some sound notifications did not come up reliably. I rolled back to Faria 3.3 but do like the new interface. I tried PDAviet4 today and cannot sync with Outlook as it no longer likes the root cert <sigh>

Pdaviet4 is not stable dude instead u can try Pdaviet3 its more stable that 4 and have u tried pdaviet3 in ur ppc and thnkx for infos abt the sound today iam going to install this undersground edition hope it doestnt brick or crash my ppc!!!

Anyways, My suggestion is also to use the PDAviet3 over 4. If you need links to them, Search for the Term PDAviet here in the site and you will see a google to Google. Click it and you will see the link in the first link available in google.
My hopes for Enabling the integrated Internet Calling function in Wm6 ROM is still alive and am actively looking over the new CE ROM M$ came out with to see if I can find the missing pieces for it.
I like how certain people got all pissy when their threads were being hijacked, so they *****ed and moaned till they were made mods...now they appear to be nonexistent.
I've been extremely successful in getting everything available in this forum installed and working on a SIM/CID-Unlocked Tilt that I bought today (THANKS POF!).
What's now needed for all of us ATT Tilt owners is a Keymapping CAB. I was hoping that the Advanced Config would have the correct mapping in it but it doesnt.
If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be glad to knock out the CAB or if someone has something available, please post... there's gonna be a lot of people looking for this!

If you still have the ATT ROM loaded, can you look in the \Windows dir and find the *.provxml files? The answer may be there.
i dont understand whats the big deal about unlocking phones? someone care to explain... im planning to buy an att tilt and i like modding my 8525 but i never unlocked it is it important that i do?

CID unlocking your phone allows you to flash your phone with any "non-native" carrier or "cooked" ROM. If you don't CID unlock your device, then you're stuck using AT&T-only ROMs (in your case).

I already unloaded the ATT ROM but I suppose someone here will have that file. Could it be extracted from an .NB file?

I have upgraded to the 1615 from my trusty old 1605. I was looking forward to a couple of applications announced by HTC - Windows Live and Business Scanner. It seems Vodafone has omitted these apps. Is there any way I can get hold of them?

You really wouldn't want it. Total rubbish from Vodafone as usual. We blew the original HTC rom over them as soon as ours came in!

That's really weird! It came on my Tilt 2 but AT&T is telling me it isn't compatible...WTF!
Anyone get this figured out. I didn't use the Media Mall very often but now I can't at all. The only thing I really want is the Mobile IM software that was on my phone but they won't let me download that either.
either need the media net/media mall cab, or a way to bypass the
