Multiple sim cards on one physical sim card - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hello all,
I am searching for a solution to put 2 sim cards in the Kaiser. But I don't want to cut them (the sim cards belong to my company ...).
I've found this on the web :
http://www.duosim.com/supersim.html
With this method, you just program one empty sim card with upto 16 sim cards you may have.
All your sim cards can be converted into a single one !
I've found someone in this forum who say it worked on a HTC Universal (in fact one person said it never worked on its Universal, a second person said it worked ...)
Did someone try this product on the Kaiser ?
Thanks a lot !

You can not without cutting them.
You can't fit two BMW's in a Mini....
S'only a small SIM holder.

Just have a look at what they say : in fact you copy multiple sim cards into one, what's impossible in that ?
I think it may work.
have a look also at that link :

In one respect, you are correct, in another you are doing an illegal act unless the target SIM card is an open (not carrier bound) one you purchased yourself and have the originals as proof!!
Cutting is legal as you are not modifying the security.
The law has to be complied with in your country... got to be careful!

SIM CLONE

I have 4 different gsm sim cards and was looking for a solution that didnt involve changing sims or carrying a bag full of phones. I saw a product called Super Sim, it claims to be able to clone 16 sim cards on to one "super" sim. I ordered it, ran the sim scan program, it warns it takes 2 to 5 hours to discover the keys, however it seems that none of the UK sims will clone. The makers say it will work, or at least the distributor says they do. Has anybody had any joy with this kind of kit. I saw amother similar item for sale inUK but the guy points out that only pre 2001 Orange cards have any chance of working because of the type used here in UK. The reader writer is capable of cloning the phone numbers from one sim to another, but that isnt the reason I got it. :? Any info much appreciated.
u can try sim max. but i dont kow if it works u can try and download the software they provide its free u can download it off the website uprobably have a reader since u ought something or other from someone.
check it out post any results.
i am curruntly trying it i will post if any
maybe a generic universal sim to clone your other cards to?????? I know there is some techy crap about newer style SIMs vs Older SIMs and the way they are encoded...... Very vaige though. SOrry, and good luck!

My N1 is SIM Lock or not ?

Hello
Sorry for my English but I'm French.
I live in New Caledonia, I bought a Nexus One still packed on ebay (no other way to get one in New Caledonia) and I have a problem.
My Nexus one says "No SIM card", I tried with 10 different SIM cards and I have the same problem (I put in the right direction, I checked several times).
Is it possible that my Nexus One is SIM Locked?
Who knows?
It is no longer guaranteed as I unlocked the bootloader, I saw the problem after.
Someone also tried to repair it and opened it, so if I should send it for repair I know that I should pay, but is it a hardware problem?
I hope it is simply SIM Locked, it would cost me less.
There is no such thing as SIM lock on Nexus. Please search next time.
Nope, it should not be SIM Locked. Actually, it WILL NOT be SIM Locked.
Sounds like the SIM card slot could be going out? Try wedging a few scraps of paper up underneath the SIM card as you insert it to hopefully get a bit more pressure against the contacts.
Good luck!
Did you contact the ebay seller? Sounds like you bought a defective unit.

Copy sim-card

is there any way to copy a newer type of simcards?
Anyone has tried a writer before?
I don't want an expensive double sim plan from my operator.
Maybe this is the solution..
welli tried this i got this item from ebay where you can add up to 16 sim cards into one sim card but to do that you first need to get a KI no. For old sims its fine and easy but for new sims ( V2 and V3 since the past few years ) its almost impossible so far.

looks like a broken contact, are you using the same sim card that was working before or its a new card? You could go at any carrier and ask them if you could test one of their sim card. But after reading your story, its really sound like a broken sim contact.

That is a hardware issue, so you will need to return it under warranty for repair. Hopefully, it is still stock. If you know someone with a similar phone, you might ask them to use their tray and if your sim is recognized with that tray then you just need a different tray. If not, then it is a hardware issue.

Yes I have used same one.. And two others didn't work..
They say that if you use some tape on the Sim it will work should I give it a try because I can see through the phone that one of the pins is slightly lower than the other two

would recommend to put anything on your sim, don't get it worse and send it for repair.

Like alray stated don't put anything on the sim card and force it into the slot. Can you take it to the shop that removed the original tray to see if they can repair the fingers?

Does the new Note 9 work on DUAL SIMS + SD card simultaneously

Hello, I tried the new Note9 with Dual sims + Sd card simultaneously, both sims register and i can see the sd card registering in the notification section, but i get a popup which says Some problem with the sim tray please remove try and reinsert. I cant seem to bypass this. can anyone help ?
You cannot use a combination of two Sims and an SD card. You can use a single sim and an SD card or two sims and no SD card.
A bit of a stupid design but this is how I have known it since the note 8.
Unfortunately this dual sim set up is not available in US (at least when i pre-ordered mine). Would you know if it support CDMA?
For my history use, if I get the 512gb then I dont have to have a SD card. 512gb is enough (too much).
Thanks in advance!

That's good point. If I was a dual SIM user I'd definitely have bought the 512gb.

From what I've heard,Samsung has prevented this w/software.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/help/dual-sim-sd-card-problem-s9-t3830637
It worked in the past, but, sometime this year,Samsung put an end to using all three simultaneously.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77369298&postcount=7
I know exactly what you're talking about, I used two SIM Cards & an SD Card in a Honor View 10.
I used a $10 SIM extender, which fit right next to the SD Card in the 2nd slot.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BFXZCCN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Perhaps there'll be a work-around in the future, but,it's likely gonna be a solution that requires your device to be rooted.
I'm shifting from S7Edge to Note9, really wish there was a work around for this. Anyways for now I'm in 128gb and at the moment I have enough memory. Thanks guys.
It doesn't work for me too.. I was using my sim+sdcard combo on my axon 7 but when I put it in my note 9, it says check sim tray. Hope this gets a workaround.

Thank you for confirming, although it's not the news we wanted to hear, any doubt has now been removed. :good:
security
samsung has done some stuff to prevent this from happening altho if you root you can break the security
It just happened to me as well. I was using both of the sims and SD card with sim extender till my Note 8 and it was working fine but in Note 9 the annoying popup is not going anywhere. Any fix will be helpful to by pass this.
I have the same problem!
Hi friends. I live in Iran & here just note 8 is in the market in its 64gb model. I used 2 sims & sd card simultaneously until it told me there is an update. I did the update, it became Android 9, & brgan giving me the prompt that something's wrong with the tray. I did whatever that I thought might help, but it didn't help. Later ai heard that Android 9 doesn't allow simultaneous 2 sims & an sd card! I hope Samsung changes this. Their phones are becoming worse every day. Glass back which breaks & gets fingerprint marks, low capacity, and every time they ban something on their users! I wish I wasn't in love with Samsung!
Unfortunately Samsung has prevent dual Sim device owners from being able to use both SIMs and a microSDCard at the same time for some strange reason.
Samsung Note 9 in India comes with Dual Sim Dual Standby version & can use 2 - 4G VoLTE SIM cards simultaneously.
I have an Unlocked Samsung Note 9 from SPRINT , USA. This has a Single SIM Slot with a memory card expansion bay. The Exact Model No of the Sprint , USA's Samsung Note 9 is SM-N960U1.
What i want to know is that does this version have e-sim capability ? Does it has a second e-sim modeul & 2nd IMEI built in ?
Anyway to find out , maybe via an app or anything ?
Else, i can stuck with a single sim Note 9 if it does not.
Can anyone help on this... i cant seem to find any details on this specific model.

Go to phone pad, type in *#06#. This will bring up ALL your IMEI info. If you have 2 then it will show both...

Simple & Effective answer. Thanks so much. Its a Single SIM with one IMEI no only.
This means the SPRINT (USA) Samsung Note 9 has single sim with single IMEI so no e-sim support also.
thanks so much.
Hi,
Does anyone know if Android 10 will bring back the ability to have Dual Sim plus uSD card active simultaneously?
I really miss having the extra storage capability in my SM9600.

Very unlikely. Since Samsung has actively blocked it with software, whatever their reason may be, they don't have any real reason to unblock it.

Hi,
It is written in the post. Find services.jar, decompile it with a Java decompiler, make the shown changes, and push it back to where it was with like adb push command or file manager on the phone.
That, or find it in the ROM from Dr. Ketan or install that ROM.
That should give you enough pointers I hope.
Start trying and post if you really get stuck.
cheers
