Is that true?

Here's the truth:
hp iPAQ h6365 / h6325 / h6320/ h6315 / h6310 Bootloader Mode:
Keep press hold down buttons 1 and 2 (contacts and email) and then press the reset button on the left side. Release the reset button without releasing buttons 1 and 2. Once this is completed successfully you are has already into bootloader mode, then you will see BL in the lower right hand corner. Now you can release buttons 1 and 2 to keep continue it.

Having problems getting into Bootloader Mode after Flashing

to Helmi_BA_WM2K5_AKU_2.3_64mb_V1 --
amyone else have this problem?
wondering if it could be psShutXP application in ROM.. anyway to deinstall? or any other way to start Bootloader mode other than pressing the Power_record_and reset at the same time?
hold power and record, then press and hold reset, let go of all 3 when the screen goes blank.
Tryed that -- to the letter -- still no luck ...
what still works and what doesn't? can you perform a hard reset?
Everything seems to work fine -- Apps-- did a Hard reset... cleaned the reg..
Wanted to Test out your New ROM -- Black6spdz_BA_WM5_V1.1 --
couldn't get to into BootLoader mode... to Flash
Any suggestions of things to try? sounds like other might be having the same problem..

please enlighten me as to why you think this?

Silly question I know, but all your buttons are working in normal operation aren't they? There's no reason for an app to 'steal' the function of a button unless you specify it in the Buttons applet, and then only once it's booted, not during reboot etc...
press the record and power.. hold these while you press the reset button ..don't let go of the power and record until you have the bootloader screen.. if you let go too early it just starts a normal reset
can i try this for my MDA PRO ? i had tried to upgrade it to AKU 3.0 and after it finished its upgdare my MDA PRO did not open even booloader screen is not appearing.

Cant get BA into bootloader mode after WM5

I have tried for weeks now to get my imate pda2k into bootloader mode but it will not. Just goes to the stripes and the to wm5. any Ideas?
Yes I do know what to push to get it there but no joy
silly question but when you presso the power button + camera and then you press the soft reset button with the stylus, do you keep pressing wth the stylus for a moment?
i have to wait some 3 seconds before i go into bootloader mode
no bootloader mode
Yes tried that, and all other combinations that I can think of. It just goes to the Stripe color screen then shows at the bottom the rom, radio, etc then the WM5 screen.
Test camera button
Yous hould hold the three buttons for a while, but if you have problem with one of them it is not possible to do hard reset
I think you shold hard reset your BA first before you next try
good luck
tried all of above
Yes tried all of your suggestions, I guess must be a button problem (power button I think) Altho its the same as when I get it to upgrade to WM5. But now, You know when you press power rs and camera/record? and the the envelope key to get the no yes yes screen? as soon as I take my fingers off the keys, its gone, doesnt stay there like b4 till options are changed. They r all set to default of no. How do u check to see if the bootloader software is on the pda?
Press record (button above slider) + power button + SR at bottom.
Then you are in bootloader.

You can actually test without guessing if the power button is working: press & does the device turn on/off? Try (not guess) the other buttons as well.
Without being rude, do a sanity check. disregard all your assumptions that you are doing things right & follow the procedure as below (taken from the Wiki pages):
-------------------------------------
Put your device into bootloader mode:
* Press Power + record (above the volume slider) + softreset at the same time. You should see a white screen with "Serial" text on it and the Bootloader version.
-------------------------------------
Hardreset based on Screen Information
* Press Power + Softreset, and when the colored stripes shows on the screen.
If you have a PH20B device such as MDAIII, QTEK 9090, XDAIIs, PDA2K etc.
* Quickly press Record+Camera before the versions appears at bottom right or,
* press Power+Softreset+Camera+Record at the same time.
If you have a PH20B1 device such as SX66
Quickly press Record+Windows Media before the versions appears at bottom right or,
* press Power+Softreset+Windows Media Player button+Record at the same time.
Either way mentioned above should work.
You'll see three options; change the second and the third to "yes".
Cheers!

XDA 11i crashed on update, only "serial" on screen

First off have spent a long while searching through the site to see if this subject has been covered before, but no joy, but no doubt I'm wrong!
My new O2 Orbit arrived yesterday, so backed up the XDA 11i prior to taking the sim out, just as well as I had to update Activ Sync which no longer has a backup / restore option. But do have a laptop with the old version of Activ Sync.
After syncing the new phone, went back to the XDA11i which had lost all the memory on taking the sim out and loosing power, thought ok load the backup - but laptop sync would not recognise the backup file - so (wrongly) thought it was an update issue, so proceeded to update the 11i with the update I previously had done four or five months back.
During the update, screen power went, tried in vain to soft restart but no joy, and have tried holding power, restart and action button.
All I have on the screen is a very faint "Serial" and V1.01 at the bottom, on putting back on the cradle USB appears on the screen and I can see the PDA in My Computer but no files - so would seem I have to somehow upload the OS - but have no idea how?
Sorted.......................................left battery on charge for around 18hrs and tried again...........and update worked, and even managed to restore the backup that was the issue in the first place!
i am french , can you say me how do in french please
sorry for my english
You need to go to serial mode to flash back..
Press the (power) button + (action) button + (Reset) button
Load the XDA2i to flash the software
Where is the action button?

the power button is the round button on the bottom between the phone "on" and "off" buttons. Doing that will put your device in bootloader mode which you are already in. I would suggest you read up on installing the ROM withOUT using activesync. It can be done, I have done it many times.
what is the action button?

Is my wizard totally bricked?

hi, please! need help... after I've flash the
Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2 on my G3 device the rom is very slowly and my PC doesn't recognized my wizard when it connected with the USB cable.
any solution how can I change this rom?
many thanks
i can go to the tri-color bootloader mode, is it say somthing?
mine did that yesterday....maybe try a hard reset:
Hold down the Comm Manager button(top left) and Voice Command button(top right) buttons while performing a soft-reset (depress the reset button using the stylus); after you depress the soft-reset button, [contintue to hold the two side buttons] hold down the navigation pad for ~4 seconds until you are prompted on screen [you can release the side buttons now]. Press the Send (Talk) button (i.e. the left telephony button) - or whichever button your system prompts you for.
That's what I did and it worked for me =)
thanks but it doesn't work, the main problem is that after the hard reset the rom is very very slowly (like 7-8 seconds from the moment you tap the "start" till the start menu come)
the PC doesn't recognized my wizard so i can't change to another rom....
I can get into the tri-color mode, does it say that maybe it's not bricked?

HardSPL 100% no Effect

Hi!
I've tried to HardSPL my X1i and everything seems to work fine:
- The tri-colour screen appeared
- the loadbaar appeared (but switches in 20secs from 0% to 100%)
and the Wizard said "Congratulations...." - X1 reboots.
but when I want to check if the bootloader works fine I couldn't come into the tri-colourscreen by holding the volumedown button and switching the X1 on.
Even if I want to HardSPL my X1 again, the Wizard says that I have the old Image Version: 1.03.932.6 ...
Does anybody know how to fix this? This would be really great.
Perhaps it doesn't work because I have no microSD-card....?
Many thanks and sorry for my bad englisch
Greets pino
have you kept the down volume button and the power button pressed until you see the tri color screen?
you have to keep them pressed until the tri thingy appears, or else all you are doing is turning on the device

1 - turn off your phone
2 - press volume down and power button
3 - hold both until you're in tri-color screen
gr
try to push the camera + power button... that works fine for me! And even if u can't check try to flash a customized rom you can't brick your device by doing that - the only thing you will get is an error and maybe then you have to flash an original rom...
