Great finding. Works perfect (and inded faster) on my stock ROM.
Needed with the original HTC version 4 x 1 second to put PUK code.
On the other hand, I do not see any improvement when pushing "call history"
Screen's slides still too slow

How do you switch off smartdialing? will it auto stich off when u install EZDIAL?

When I install this cab I end up with blank buttons on the dialer - NO numbers or letters.
Any ideas?

This is awesome! I have been waiting for someone to get this out to us.
I noticed a few things that users should probably note:
1. When setting up any of the speed dial numbers, the Advanced tab options for [ ]Dial extra digits and [ ]Show Recorder Buttons DO NOT WORK. It is a shame that the voivemail recorder buttons won't appear on the today screen. That would be great for one handed phone. But I guess this plug-in works with the hard wires today screen dialing system of the 700w.
2. The quick connect numbers assigned do not work - even if using in landscape and pressing the keyboard buttons.
3. Any number dialed will go through but it will not pop you to th dialing application. So if you are planning to dial you voice mail or other system that needs digit input, you are best to use the dialer that is native to the wizard.
It is a shame that we can't figure otu a way to take the speed dialing app that HTC built into the dialing screen and get it into the today screen. I love the way it finds contacts quickly when I dial. But I suspect it would not be all that helpful with our devices because of the lack of keyboard.

Some things to know :
- you have the choice between Text Speed Dial and Photo Speed Dial
- You can post only one line of photo in the Picture Speed Dial
- After 5 photos a button appears for scrolling (fast scrolling with the D-Pad)

Add a battery indicator to the dialer:

edit this to

opens up additional menu in the dialer.
HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\NikeOptionOnOff
Set this to "1"
Change the Dialer completly to regular one:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\SmartDialingOnOff
Set this to "1"
I guess this fits to the owners of HTC Nike as well.

actually did read the thread. The bug i as i understand it was a rotation during a video call. On the original thread there was talk of being unable to dial from landscape mode. I havent burned this one in yet as I do quite a bit of landscape mode dialing. Maybe I misunderstood?

I tried the cab on my Wizard and it wouldn't install. Tried dropping the files directly in \Windows and doing the reg entries from the RGU but didn't appear to work and phone got really slow. Wound up doing a hard reset to clear it out (probably could have deleted the files and regentries but I didn't do a backup since I just use that phone for testing right now).

On my Tilt, if I open the keyboard, the dialer comes up just fine in Landscape, but there is no keypad. Instead you use the keypad on the keyboard (don't have to hit function or anyting it appears, just start dialing). Since I'm on a Tilt, I don't have video call capability anyway, so can't comment on that, but I doubt it works as has been stated.

This is a WM6.5 Lockscreen skin which comes with the HTC Mega... i liked it so thought maybe i could get it on my HTC Wizard, when i got working on my HTC Wizard so i thght maybe i should be giving it to the community to so here it is for all of you, i guess it shall work on all the QVGA devices running WM6.5Requirements:

Installation:
Download the attached CAB.
Copy it to your device.
Install the CAB on your device,
Soft-reset the device, Enjoy!
i did try to cook mega lock screen on my HTC GENE.(qvga device).but with the htc mega notifications enhancements,the screen used to get overlapped.like if u get a misscall or a message,directly the message would pop up even though we are in lock screen mode.and then after that even the lockscreen notifications wouldnt appear.
Now i have created a package of your cab file.will the above thing still happen if i go ahead and cook a rom this time?

it shuldnt but u can try, and secondly goto "Sounds & Notifications" from there goto where you select the ringtone for "New Text Message" over there disable "Display Message on Screen" and then try

Attached HTC Lockscreen from LEO but ported to VGA screen. Its a OEM and you can also convert to EXT ( but I'm not good in it ).
Cab don't work, so need to cook into the ROM. Works perfectly on my FUZE ROM!

The only thing that I havent been able to figure out is on the Call progress screen there is a graphical error that shows dots on the speaker button, but it is non the graphic. If someone can let me know what it is I will see about fixing it.

As one of the members that asked for the continuation of Livven project (really fantastic one!), and missing the Contacts shortcut in that design, I have installed your dialer but I don´t have the main screen totally skinned.
Hard to explain, but I think it´s related to the speed dial. Just up of the "1,2,3" row, appears part of the screen belonging to the old Windows dialer, that is "behind" your dialer (the screen that appears partially is the one that displays last calls and contacts).

hi - i have this problem too .
the dialer screen stay upper than start bar . and so up side off dialer don't have any space to appear .
but this dialer is really good dialer.
@Panchiron & @sattar1363 Can either one of you provide a screen shot.
Did you uninstall the previous dialers and do a soft reset and then install my dialer?

Not sure which "previous dialers" are you talking about. But I have the same issue when using Minimal Dialer or TouchFLO 2D Dialer with the Smartdial Enabler installed.
And no idea about how to provide a screenshot Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

That is the way it is supposed to look. That is the way it is on my phone. The image that I posted was the graphic I made not installed. I dont know how to change the proportions. It is how the person who made it. On the WQVGA version that I am doing it shows all of the number, not just part of it.

OBOE is a WM6.5.X device. I use 6.5.X as well. It might work on other OS, but I am not too sure. You can try it and see, if it doesnt work, then uninstall the cab!
PS: Its been 2 yrs or more since I used WM6.1!

2. Will it automatically disable the wm6.5 lock screen?
3. Does this lock screen show upcoming appointments (how many?)?
4. How does the pin-input looks like?

I dont have a TD2, so I cant comment on that. Yes it should automatically disable wm6.5 lock screen. It does not display appts, however it does display sms, email and missed call.

Hi,
i use the Oboe Lockscreen in my own ROM a few months now and i can tell you it does show appts, but only one for the next day just like original WM Lockscreen.

I think it is hardcoded in the dll, i will take a look and see if I can mod it...

I have been using OBOE lock screen for about an yr as well, but I guess never noticed that appt show up! Thanks for sharing...
