Guys,
I need some advice on a good contact manager. I've just flashed my ROM to Dutty's 6.1 (19716). Previously I used PhotoContact Pro when I was still on the original ROM. It works fine. But after I've flash to the new rom, it kinda spoilt my ringtone and I can't assign any ringtone as it would just ring the default tone.
Any idea which contact apps that is compatible with this new ROM?

I am in need of some help.
I like WM 6.1 with Microsoft's version of SMS threading but after installing WM 6.1 Normal i see that the default sms threader is Palm's version. I do not want to switch to WM 6.1 lite because the bugs i experienced.
is there a way to remove or edit the registry to revert back to Microsoft's version?
You can disable threaded SMS in WM6.1.
Tried it no my Treo and it works very well.

It's not that i want to disable SMS threading, its that i want to use the wm 6.1 version of it and not Palm Messaging.

At the moment it's not possible to have the Threaded SMS that's used in WM6.1 in a WM6.0 ROM unfortunatly

There are two versions of firmware out for WM 6.1
One is called WM 6.1 "Lite" and WM 6.1 "Normal"
WM 6.1 "Lite" uses Microsoft SMS threading
WM 6.1 "Normal" uses Palm Messaging (sms threading)
WM 6.1 "lite" has bugs so i was wondering how do i revert WM 6.1 "Normal" to use Microsoft SMS threading rather then Palm messaging.

Have you tried installing the Palm threaded SMS cab ? Maybe it will override the buggy SMS situation you have. That may not change because the bugs are stemmed from chopping the ROM to make it Lite and creating problems in the process so again i doubt it it is the SMS application itself.
No offense but not one reply from anyone makes any sense for the question i am asking.
paypalbid, no where in any of my comments does it say i have a buggy sms situation or does it say anything about me wanting palm messaging. What i am trying to do is:
INSTALL WM 6.1 " NORMAL" and use " MICROSOFT"S SMS THREADING"

Hi folks, I've just flashed my new Kaiser with Dutty's WM6.1 hybrid rom. Very happy with it except one thing, I was very fond of the alert sound 'Type' on my Hermes as an incoming SMS alert. The version on my new Kaiser sounds nothing like the old version.
Can anyone help & email the old sound file over to me so I can get it back?

Start, Settings, click Sounds & Notifications. Should be self explanitory from there........Nice........
^ i am pretty sure he knows how to go to his sounds. the problem is his current sound on the device is not what he wanted and was asking if anyone has the proper sound he wanted.
i suggest you go to the hermes section and ask someone there for the sound so they can send to you. maybe it's a sound specific to the hermes one?
anybody knows how i can get name suggestion (from adressbook) when typing in the "to:" flied when creating an SMS? i know&have seen this working in other wm 6.1 ROMs...
Yes, that would be very handy... I recall that I saw it somewhere in other WM 6.1 Rom.
it works for me on the stock 1.37 rom, but its not like the ussual WM, its xt9

I seem to have a problem with either touchflow SMS or MS Mobile SMS. All my new SMS's seem to go into the touch flow SMS system but I don’t get a notification on the Today screen. But also I get no SMS's stored in the MS Mobile SMS inbox but unless they are sent directly from the MS Mob screen.
Seems the two functions are not talking to each other somewhere along the line?
I had used the search and not really come up with anything? Anyone any ideas?

got the same problem with official 1.93 t-mobile rom. no notification and it seems like there are 2 sms inboxes. like one for touchflo and one for ms messaging

I have tested all available cooked WM 6.5 Roms with Manila 2.5
But all Roms have a Bug, i hope anybody can help me.
When a new tex message (sms )incoming is, i have no sound. I can stop sounds which I want, none played. Neither Mp3 nor wav. With Manila 2,1 it functions.
And the error is with all WM 6,5 of Rom with Manila 2.5.
What can i do?
No problem here with NRGZ28's Leo Rom.

i found what the problem is with no SMS notification. When i go to the regional settings and switch to german, then the sound for new sms is off. In english is ok.
Can anybody help me?
