Change number of rings before going to VM - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

This is really not Kaiser specific, actually it's Tilt specific...and specifically AT&T. I apologize if it's posted elsewhere, but I found it useful:
If you want to change how long your phone rings before going to voice mail, dial the following:
*61*1xxxxxxxxxx**YY#
xxxxxxxxxx = your VM number (not your phone #, your VM # !)
YY = the number of seconds before the call goes to VM, valid choices are:
5,10,15,20,25,30 (30 is max)
You should get a bubble pop-up saying "succeeded" or "failed"

Or
Start > Settings > Phone > Services Tab .. Highlight Call Forwarding and select Get Settings.
Under Forward phone calls only if:
Forward After:
You can set it to 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 Seconds

This is what I did ^. Much Simpler .

That works too. I did a search online before I went looking and that is what I came up with. I guess the method I found was prior to them implementing that in the GUI!

Meteor Speed Dial Position 1

I am trying to set up speed dial position 1 for voicemail but each time i try to assign the vodafone '121' voicemail number to it I get a message saying it is reserved. When I try to us speed dial 1 it says teh voicemail number is incorrect. How do I change the number assigned to speed dial 1.
I'm not for certain off the top of my head since I don't have a smartphone right now, but I believe if you go into Settings/Phone there's an option for Services. Select Voice/Text Messages and Get Settings. In there you should be able to change the voice mail number to the correct one.
Hello,
Try: start/settings/phone/call options/ and fill in the voice mail number.
Good luck

1. You cannot do anything on the phone. You have to setup your voicemail that way.
2. Are you saying that you are not seeing anything on the popup box or are you saying that they are small and not so readable? If it is the latter, then you have to rely on 3rd party programs (ex: Photo Contacts Pro or S2U2). Search the forums for these two programs.
I found on the phone that you can alter the delay before the phone switches to "voice Mail"
on the second problem.....
the box pops up in the lower part of the screen . The bottom section isnt high enough to shown the full ID contact name etc its hidden
2. Reordering the plugins or deactivating a couple you don't need may do the trick. I think it's under 'settings -> Today.

On my T-Mobile MDA Vario III (UK) you can find this option as follows:
Start>Settings>Personal Tab>Phone>Service Tab
Highlight the "Call Forwarding" option in the list and click "Get Settings...."
You should then see a list of network settings, one of which is:
Forward phone calls only if:
Then a ticked box next to "No answer: Voicemail"
Below this change the value for "Forward after" in the drop down list - multiples of 5 secs from 5 to 30.
When you are done click OK and you should be good to go.
I hope its the same on yours!?
Cheers

Change default time for call forwarding
Hi,
Due to our operator procedure i have to acivate call forwarding by dialing special command. It is not a problem, however every time I cancel call forwarding and activate it again, I have to adjust timing for it. By default it is set to 20 seconds and I need it to be 5. Any tricks how can I do that? Tried to find it in registry, but no luck.

How do I make speedial 1 dial my voicemail like it used to?

I use att and my speed dial 1 used to dial my voicemail, now it does not and I cannot seem to program it under the speedial menu, I can only program numbers greater than 2. Anyone have any ideas?
in dial pad, press 1 and hold it until it dials out.
I think he's saying that doesn't work now... how can he fix it.
go into settings - phone - voice mail and text messaging - get settings, then make sure you have the voicemail number set as this is associated with speed dial 1...

exactly, i was just going to answer that, but you beat me to it.
whatever number you enter in that setting will be set to number 1 speed dial. you may need to check with your carrier to get the correct number.
its already set in there, thats the funny thing, the voicedial number is in there but when I hold down 1 nothing happens!

Stoopid question about voicemail

I received a call from my boss in which he left a phone number. I pressed "7" to save the voicemail but now I can't find it. How can I access my saved voicemail? Urgent.
i believe "7" is delete, not save. all my phones have been "7" to delete...
7 = delete
9 = save
It helps if you pay attention and listen to the automated voicemail prompt as it explains to you your choices. Have a wonderful day.
Depends on which supplier
To be fair, the options vary from supplier to supplier!
It's easy to get confused, because on one voicemail (my home landline, I think) 3 saves the message, while on another (my mobile, I think) 3 deletes it (not 7!) On my work landline 1 deletes the message, 3 winds back 5 seconds.
Yes, listening carefully to the automated text is important, but so is being helpful and civil.

Trouble with Tasker Auto-answer -- Please Help!

Not sure if I'm in the right place for this so sorry if this gets posted incorrectly.
I'm relatively new to Tasker. Trying to use it autoanswer a call from a specific caller and then dial the number 1, but I'm having real issues getting it setup. Here is what I've done so far.
I developed a task that I'm just calling test using the following steps:
1. CALL - triggered by an incoming call from a specific name (not using a the number)
2. WAIT - currently set to 70ms.
3. LAUNCH APP - launch the phone keyboard.
4. SPEAKERPHONE - set to "on"
5. IN-CALL VOLUME - level 8
6. BEEP - this is just a notification for me that a call has started. I've got it set to 1000 MS
7. AUTOINPUT ACTION - clicks the 1 key.
I then setup a profile, selected STATE, selected CALL INCOMING and then assigned the task to it.
When go to the task and click the play button, it works just fine. When I actually call the number though and have the task set to use my name, I get an error message.
I've tried various versions of this, screening for specific numbers or for a name, but no joy on any of them. The farthest that I've been able to get is to have the phone pick up a call and turn on the speaker phone, but that's only if I don't screen the name or the number of the caller. When in an actual call, I haven't been able to get the keyboard to launch at all.
Additionally, I've been looking all over for examples of a similar task and haven't really found anything useful.
The phone I"m using is a moto g6 - not rooted - running Oreo. Any help would be very much appreciated.
