Hey i am been searching the forums for about a week. I am still not sure if the 8GB microSDHC Card - Class 4 by SandDisk will work with the AT&T Tilt. When i went to the AT&T store they said it only goes up to 4gb. Can anyone Confirm that the 8gb work with the phone or not?
Many users on this board have that particular microSD card and it works for them. I don't have one yet and I'm still at 512mb But As soon as I get 50 dollars, I'm getting it for sure.
I use a 8GB microsd from san disk, no problem... guys at the AT&T store dunno wtf they are talkin about, the tilt is capable of handeling 32gb, but those cards arent out yet... go ahead and get the 8gb card....

Could anyone confirm that 6gb micro sd card work on kaiser. i'm selling my hermes and getting the kaiser by next week just want to know.
also i have seen different colours on the net on kaiser can someone tell me what true colour it is as well. as the one on expansys looks nice while somewhere else looks dull
This card will work as the kaiser supports any SDHC card.

6gb card works fine, and the pictures of the Kaiser on expansys are spot on, bought mine from them.

Just grabbed one on eBay, although in Canada, it's a great price seeing as how I probably couldn;t even get a 1gb card around here

It cost me 38 pounds. However I used my friends credit card and he is the one who will be shipping it to me once he gets it tomorrow from London, since mobymemory won't ship to the States. I would say roughly around $85.
I think with shipping it is close to $98 from what I saw on their site. I'm holding at 4gig till the 8's come out.
I am ordering mines today as well as my kaiser hope it works

I ordered one of those 6GB cards from mobymemory for my kaiser (which should be here today - woohoo!) and paid an extra £1.99 for a microsd to sd adapter.
When it came, the adapter was part of the sandisk package (along with a white usb sd reader) - surely I should have got another micro sd to sd adapter?
Not sure it is worth complaining lol, I only ordered it to bump it above £40 for free delivery.
assuming they're of the same class, are kingston micro sd cards as good as sandisks? does brand really matter? and is class 2 good enough, or do i have to get a higher class to run everything on a hacked rom g1 smoothly, with apps2sd and all that? thanks

wow, paying 100$ for the class 10 xD thats a little bit too much, maybe when i get a better device i should b good with the class 6 for now

yeah but I paid $74 bucks for the one i got now...so I figured hell, returning it and throwing the extra 26 bucks plus shipping with it couldn't hurt anything, IDK, I might just keep it, and when the time comes (upgrade phone) go out and buy the 10 class as well, and just have two kick ass 16GB sdcards for dual booting

haha thats true 24$ more is nothing for what you're supposdly getting, if that's the case might as well go for it, and see how it goes.
Is it worth getting a class 6 sd card?
I don't use aps2sd atm or swap or JIT and my phone is ok (no secondary partition). It's not worth doing with the card I have.
If I put a class 6 cad in and enable all the above would it make a difference?
Why are you guys getting 8GB cards? I don't even use half of my 2GB.

Most people store more on their SD card then you probably do. For example I have nearly 16 different ROMS at any given time stored on mine. Each ROM is about 40+ mb if not more so it adds up. Then I also store Apps, Wallpapers, Audio files (which is HUGE), and other things. You always want a little extra space.
A 4gb card is usually more than enough for the average user to still have plenty of space and not worry about filling up the card. BUT it all depends on your intentions for the card.
16GB Sandisk cards seem to go for ~£21 on ebay. They're class two but I don't use swap or apps on ext, so I don't mind. Are these cards generally friendly with Magics?
Sandisk are a VERY good brand for SD cards. Be careful of memory cards on ebay though. Most of them are fake. I normally buy from reputable places like newegg.com or local stores.

x2 And also, IMHO, class 2 devices are a lot flakier than class 4/6. I've never had a 4/6 fail, but I have had class 2 micro SDs fail. Might just be me, but I would rather have the better classification at the sacrifice of more $ or less GB

I have a 32GB microsdhc card and when I format it with the Nexus it says there is a damaged sd card. When I put it in my computer, the nexus formatted the card to 2GBs and when I format it with my computer its back to 32GB.
This is a real 32GB card, I purchased it at Bestbuy and it worked perfectly in my Nokia.
Does the Nexus support this size card????
Do I have to update anything?? I'm running CM 5.8 or something like that. Should I update to CM6 then try it?

I want to know this too, their website has no mention of it and the clerk laughed at me when i asked if they had any. (he didn't know 32gb cards existed yet)
yea seriously... far as i know they only have 16gig but hey if they are i know where im going when i get paid
32gb cards have been out for a while, they have just been really expensive until recently.
i know then been out for awhile but no store really carried them or had any, you can get a 16gig sd micro for 40 so im guess you get the 32 for 80 which is still high in my book, but still cool to get one...
as said before not really been seen or had many in stock for stores, maybe we see more soon
I actually picked up one from the verizon vendors for really cheap...They run about $200 retail but I got it for a half off.
I got it working when I updated to CM6. I was probably on a older version or something. Not sure but it worked. If you want to pick up a 32GB card, ebay is cheap, I wouldn't pick up anything under $100 since its probably fake.

Get a Sandisk card, those are usually authentic and offer great value and performance.

Sandisk told me it's for sale in Japan since January 2011 (this month) but so far I haven't seen it for sale anywhere and noone is importing it from there either. They assure me that card will definitely work, but I have not run a test on it since I can't get one.
