I am sorry but that is not a question. And no one here is going to help you. Have you even tried to set up a connection? Have you gone into settings>connections>wifi? What have you done so far? Have you done a forum search for "connecting to wifi." My friend can surf the net but I can't, why ? is not going to get you any help here, or make you any friends.

You need to elaborate more as previously suggested. Are you getting any errors? Does the connection connect, but the webpage doesn't show up? What radio are you using? Have you made any changes, ROM, Radio, or apps? There are many factors to the issue.

I guess the question would be, have you searched for the hot spot connection in the wi-fi settings? If you don't have wi-fi on it, then do you have a data plan, if the answer is no to both then you won't get any internet connection. Also, does your classroom provide wi-fi access.

Sharing your HSPDSA internet connection with an IPOD touch via Wifi

Hi
I have a TYTN II on unlimited data with Orange... and that is awesome - great data speeds.
Is it possible to use this data connection with an IPOD touch or other wifi device. I have been able to use my PPC internet connection on a PC (via cable or bluetooth) and on a MAC (via Bluetooth PAN) but was wondering if it is possible to use this high speed connection on a Touch. Hence you would have a "3g Iphone", without the phone of course!
Thanks
Tony
Maybe you could use WMWiFiRouter. I think the official thread for it is in the "Development and Hacking" subforum of the general forum. Google for it too, but I think the program was taken off the site for a while. I didn't read the specifics.
Yea, it works because it has Ad-Hoc in it, when I had an iPhone i used it as a ad-hoc router(with some jailbreaking of course, but that doesnt mean it wont pick it up). Once you have it on, on the tytn II, then enter in the SSID in the join this network box(or the thing that makes you manually enter a SSID) and it should connect.

WMWifirouter has been pulled by the author for the time being. Rumor is that it will be back up in a couple of weeks.

Internet Explorer

I have the newest AT&T 6.1 ROM on my Tilt. I've noticed that via WIFI, I can view information on the web through IE, that I can't via the 3G network.
I have a securities practice test site that I enter to study for exams. If I jump into WIFI (home or Starbucks, etc.), I can view the practice test questions. If I'm NOT on WIFI, the test questions don't load...
Can anyone tell me why this happens? And, is there a way around it?
****Skyfire has NO problem at all with OR without WIFI. But I don't like the way the zoom feature with Skyfire shows the material, and I have to adjust it each page. Painfully frustrating. Opera, like IE, does NOT allow the viewing of the test questions either. ONLY Skyfire loads the entire page when NOT on WIFI.
Thanks for your help...
It sounds to me that it is likely a javascript problem. I'm not so sure PIE handles javascript at all.
If the page has javascript it may not display correctly, or possibly not at all.

Thanks for the reply. Here's the thing. It'll work FINE if I'm using the WIFI on my Tilt. It's ONLY when I use the phone (H, 3G) to access the web. It seems that the WIFI connections have something that my H or 3G connection via the phone doesn't. But thanks for the input.
Seems that this is a hard one to figure out. But I appreciate your stab at it with me.

How about coverage? But seriously, have you tried it in other areas?
think U will nid this..
something abt hidden proxy for PIE...
I had the same problem few days back after flashing a rom..
no problems when using opera mini.. only PIE giving problems.
Could be the carrier proxy being used through IE. Naturally via WiFi you cannot use the ATT proxy . Skyfire uses its own proxy thus the issue at hand.
Noticed this issue too on some sites. You could report it to the carrier but dont count on immediate resolution.

Thanks for the reply. I think you guys have cured the IE problem!!!! I JUST loaded the removehiddenproxy cab and the information came up in IE!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! Now, Opera STILL doesn't show the information (I would rather use Opera), so if there was a way to do the SAME thing for Opera, that would be COOL! But the cab sure cured the IE problem. Anyone know if there's a "removehiddenproxy" cab that works for Opera?

This makes PERFECT sense!!! Thank you for your help. This means that Opera 9.5 Beta probably has the "hidden proxy" as well! Know how I can remove that other than contacting Opera developers (I don't know HOW I would do that...)?
did you ever sort you issue with opera, as im in the same boat, cant get it to conect to the net, been searching the forums today and still even with disablehidenproxy.cab, cant get it to connect!

[Q] GNote unable to detect wifi from PC

I usually share my Internet connection through Connectify and my HD2 had no problems connecting at all. However I am unable to detect the signal even on my Gnote. Does anyone else have this problem?
Make sure there is an access point when u connect using connectify.

Hey Ironman,
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately Skype doesn't allow for a connection through your cell phone voice services. I'm on a limited data amount for internet services here in Canada and I really didn't want to chance running over that limit. It get's way to expensive if you do. Thanks for the suggestion though, I do appreciate the help yourself and other members here have given since I've joined the site.

Read this you need to set your APN for data connection to work, you can put any name and APN type Internet and it will work or follow this
and view this you don't need to wait for answers, if you know how to use the search button.

Sorry my fried, I didn't mean to bother you but...
What I was talking about was non data connection troubles but hotspot trouble
Data works BUT just on the mobile, when I try to use it as a router (through hotspot) other devices can't get any data, but data still works on the mobile...
I've tried to get information about this trouble but didn't find nothing ...
Hope you can help me

No problem, the devil is in the details, its because you don't explain, what your problem is, XD members might just feel, that hey the answer is out there and you need to search for it.
Hotspot may not work on all devices, so try using a compatible maybe Android Router ver 2? ( have not used them, so you need to test it out) or any of this, IF one is not working , try another. most likely for routers to function, correct setting must be in place and clients must be authorized.
