Since it's a wm6.1, I suppose that it has the threaded sms mode activated.
Is there any possibility (since I've never tried the device) to disable it with the usual reg key and having the sms interface still working?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I hate the threaded mode, also because I can't delete a single message of someone without deleting every message from/to that contact

i can choose single messages in threaded mode by using the d-pad or my scroll wheel and delete them.... (TyTN2 with WM6.1)

How?
Though SPB time has the option to disable the screensaver for particular programs it goes into the screensaver during phone calls. I do not see "phone" anywhere on the phone or list of programs inside SPB Time ... so how can I disable the screensaver during calls?
Is this what you have disabled? But you are saying the screen saver still comes on during a phone call?

Question is basically what's the filename of the "phone" task to be added to the excluded file list.

You have your phone set as visible. Uncheck the box. Thanks for posting a 2nd thread on this btw.

has anyone seen the new SMS for HTC kaiser not sure if its vodafone or the actual WM 6.1 but the new sms looks like a Windows Live Chat Window, lol its not bad but can u change it to the old one instead of downgrading it ?

Threaded SMS is a feature of 6.1. You can turn it off with a reg edit or with KaiserTweak I think.
i love this feature.. only issue with it is i actually treat it like an msn message and i waste text messages!

When i press the sent sms button my tytn II it vibrates. I hav no idea how to disable this. Checked every sound optoins under sounds and notification but nothing there that points to this.

Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications, Select the Notifications TAB, Use the pull down menu to select the Messaging: MMS Event, uncheck Vibrate.

I believe this came from the STOCK Android Messaging App, even though I had Go SMS Pro installed and Active as my main SMS App.
I accidentally clicked on an Unread Message (which I didn't mean or want to do... as I wanted it to keep popping up) and turned its Status from Unread to Read, and now it doesn't show up anymore... I have found a way / App to use that can turn the status of the message to Unread again.
However it will not pop back up into the Notification Pulldown bar....?? Any idea's what this feature is, and how to get it back up there please????
(I know its a random request, but I just prefer that message to be always up there...)
