Well, I've been using WMWiFiRouter on my mogul for a few weeks now, but I switched to AT&T because I am relocating to Fort Lewis Washington and Sprint doesnt have service out there.
Anyways, I installed it onto my Tilt and it connects and says everything is fine, but when I connect to it on my laptop, I dont get the internet.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I dont even know where to start.

i have a similar problem. i have an old netgear NE102 with open/disabled encryption and static assigned IP. my Kaiser will see it, connect to it. but i can't ping anything on the network. i bought a brandy new netgear, and it seems to work (haven't finished the switch over yet) i got one screen of google before i had to shut it down..
I dont really understand how that is similar... But that's just me.

Yes I got it to work with no problem. For the most part you just have to have a really good singal for it to work. Some channels go offline at times which can be a pain.

I have the same setup as you and I am Utah right now getting at least 1.37Mbps down? I tried enabling/disabling proxy. I'm out of ideas?

2 days ago i got my Touch Diamond 2 with a tmobile bundel.
My problem only is that MSN will not work, Email does.
I keep on retrying, but i keep getting same error; might be the service or the telephone.
Youtube, email, internet, weather, that works, except the damn MSN, i tried HARD reset, must i try it again?
I need help, i'm getting crazy, the MSN has to work

Had the same problem, only a hard reset worked for me. The problem was in combination with failed number recognition.
Just make a good back-up, hard reset and restore. Shouldnt take that long.

Yes it wil. The problem is created by a faulty install. Update and test, when its working, go ahead and install apps. If it isnt, try a hard reset to clean up the device.

Updating the rom erases all date on your mobile and has the same effect as an hard-reset. If you have the problem after updating the rom, it could be rom-related.
What you could try, is an different MSN-client like 'Slick'..

I get a error with that program now lol while inlogging;
Auth failed, socket error, connection refused, error number 10061?
Try turning off the proxy in the 3G connection settings.

Turning off the proxy is the solution, you will need to delete the old 3G settings first and then input the settings manually so that the proxy doesn't get re-setup.

Turning it off should indeed be enough, if this is the solution.

Cachewolf can do such. OSMTracker is another, I've tested both...
But I'm searching for better toools, too. osmtracker has an unusable interface and cachewolf is made for other things, but is capable of logging tracks, too.
And then you need gpsbabel to convert the track into the desired format. There is even a ppc version of gpsbabel available, but I didn't searched for it yet...
Its usable directly inside cachewolf.
If you find better tools, let me know! I want to help osm, too.

I wouldn't mind finding one, either. In its simplest form, it would take the phone's GPS location and ESN and send it to an IP address via the GPRS network, at which IP address would be a server that would import the ESN and GPS coordinates into a MySQL application.
I've only found two, and one was bought and orphaned about six months ago, and the other one hasn't been updated since 2006.
I think it may have something to do with my router settings, but it could very well be my phone too. all help is appreciated. Running cm12 for shamu latest build.

First thing is to pull the power out of the router for 30 seconds or more. Even if other devices can connect fine, this should always be then first step.

Yes it connects but im not connected to the internet. in the notification bar it is a exclamation mark on top of wifi icon. Oh yes it is maybe worth to mension that i run cm12 Shamu latest build.
Can you install a terminal emulator and kind other things in your network / Google etc?

Apparently Lollipop is having issues with AEP encryption for wireless networks, so I changed mine to WPA2/TKIP and WiFi is back in business.
