FOR SALE: Kaiser with Dutty's ROM installed

hey guys,
I was about to put this up on ebay but then I suddenly decided to offer it up on here since it is this place that helped me get it up and running with a good ROM in the first place.
I have used this tilt for less than a week. I have never dropped it and there are no scratches. I used it for the BB connect and when it comes to BB nothing does it better than an actual BB. while the Tilt is better than the BB in every other way... I realized that I never use anything else the phone offers.
anyway... I can provide pictures if you want. I just need to take a couple good ones (attached ones I took with iPhone are all blurry).
I have all of the original packaging. I also have a new never opened 3-in-1 2gb Micro SD card (Sandisk) and Car Charger (ATT Branded) to go with it.
Im not looking for any specific price... just make me a reasonable offer.
Is there a reason you don't just return it?
Ok I have heard of people getting these for several prices so reasonable could be any number. I'll give ya $125
because I hate dealing with AT&T customer service and would rather take a loss than go through the pain.
I honestly dont need nor care about the money.
Will even take a trade if its interesting enough
and I would rather offer a good deal to someone on this board (lots of great people here) than give it back to ATT.
ill offer 126.00 because i can get it thru premier for 150 but id rather not give att any more money then the 300$ each month i give them
on a side note you should try selling it on hofo i let a tilt go few months ago for 510$ shipped on there..granted it was NIB but still
126$ isnt off the table... but would anyone happen to have a GPS unit Like a garmain or tomtom) they would want to trade for it?
does this phone still have warranty through at&t? like is the imei clean?
no reason it wouldnt be. came direct from ATT. arrived March 21 and I started using it on March 27. I was out of town on business when it came in.
would this work / also I have sent you a PM
http://shopdelphi.com/consumers/mobilenav/nav200us/
ill give ya £80 for it

yeah I know... for some reason my other line of txt didnt make it in there... I said that as a joke... the international shipping alone would be too much hassel.

Heading out to work shortly, will check mail from mobile for a reply to my PM. Thank You.
actually chumley, £80 is about £160 USD

Brandie, What would have you post your phone number openly on this forum. There are oodles of loons out there with nothing better to do than mess with people.
Maybe a mod can help her out and delete her number.

[Q] Gumtree Scammers [UK]

So I tend to list my old phones on Gumtree, due to eBay's crazy fees. With eBay and Paypal, you sell a phone for £400 and give them £40 of it! Kinda crazy really.
Anyway, everytime I list an item on Gumtree (even through I state I wont ship internationally) I get e-mails people telling me they will pay me X+£100 via Paypal.
Of course I always either ignore or reply telling them I wont ship outside of the UK at which point they don't reply.
What I'm curious about is, how do they work the scam? Paypal is generally quite safe isn't it? Do they claim after two week's they haven't received the item? Does the money just never get to Paypal and they try and talk you in to sending it before it's there?
I'm half tempted to ask one of them to pay the money, me with no intention of sending the phone anywhere, just to see what happens...
http://reviews.ebay.com/PAYPAL-BUYER-SCAM-EXTREMELY-IMPORTANT-INFORMATION_W0QQugidZ10000000000114286
Basically unless you have proof that you have sent, and that they have signed for an item, PayPal will refund the money.
a specific example
So from the example, even if you have proof that the package was delivered, Paypal are likely to give the money back?
I wonder what happens if I ask the scammers to transfer direct into my bank account?
That's made me a little nervous now. I've just sold my DHD on eBay, the guy has paid with Paypal right away.
What are the safest steps for me next? I simply post it via recorded delivery and submit the tracking number to eBay somewhere?

and on paypal too
Thinking about it, I should probably do it special delivery, because that is insured. So if he claims its damaged or something, I can go back to Royal Mail?
Now... the other thing, the guy is only 7 miles away, I'd prefer to drop it over to him. If I get him to sign a 'receipt' do you think Paypal would accept it? I guess I'm actually safer posting it now, he's paid for postage, so he could claim I made it up, where's my postage info...

I replied to a spam scam once, I gave him the crime stoppers number as my mobile number. Idiot didn't notice what is was, just asked for my personal number. At that point I ignored.

So long as you keep the receipt for postage, and make a note of the time and date, where you posted it etc, the Post Office will refund up to £30 (I think that's the amount anyway) for missing items, after they have investigated. Anything more expensive, and I would suggest you send it with insurance anyway.
Are you guys serious??????
just search "gumtree scams paypal moneysavingexpert" on google (sorry can't post links)
That's why I stopped using gumtree overall. It is nothing but a scam den! Now I use other safer sites like movethat.com or bonsoni.com
Not if you're careful. I've not been scammed once using Gumtree and I've made more money from each sale as I'm not giving eBay and Paypal 12% of my sale. You could say that in itself is the biggest scam...
I do still use eBay, cause we don't really have any other auction alternatives do we?
Yes if you are smart then you should be ok (although my smart cousin lost his deposit money for a flat) . But the problem is Internet is available to everyone, even to the granny who never used a comp before.
usually these kind of naive people are becoming a victim. Just search gumtree fraud or gumtree scam on google news search thousands on result come up! Apparently police stopped taking this crime reports as they are too many of them.
You are not giving that 12% to ebay and paypal but do remember that actually you are doing them a favour by using gumtree, which is own by ebay and paypal.
That's what happened when capitalism reach at its pick and consumers don't have much choice.
Once again I prefer to use other smaller and safer sites then any of the above named site.

eBid.net is an alternative to Ebay.
The alternative I used for Gumtree.com is OzAdz.com. I love their Personals section lol.

I don't think it's a viable alternative though. For example, there's 1 Nexus S for sale on eBid. If I'm looking for a phone, why would I go to eBid. If I'm selling, why would I start an auction on eBid, next to no-one see's it and my item sells at a crazy low price

One reason to use smaller websites like ebid is because less people will bid, so you may pick up a bargain.

That's exactly what I'm saying, thanks. Very bad for sellers, not a viable option.

Ebay experiences, need some answers

Hello everyone, I have some stuff to sell, as well as a couple of others I would like to purchase. Is purchasing and selling through ebay safe? I really don't want to sign up for Paypal, so do you think it would be possible to conduct business without a need for Paypal? Thanks
You need PayPal for eBay that's just how it works... As far as safe goes I've never had a bad eBay experience and I have bought upwards of 50 items.
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
follow the "tips for sellers" and tips for "buyer and seller protection" and u should be cool with paypal
ud be much safer if u do paypal only , as most scammars use other methods .
also , if a guy with -1, 0 , 1 or 2 bids an unreasonable amount on your stuff , it should raise a huge red flag in your head(too good to be true)
eBay is perfectly safe and i've bought and sold lots of things. Paypal is safer than other payment options. If you do have any problems you contact paypal or ebay and they will deal with it.
If it wasn't safe million of people wouldn't be using it.
Having recently bought and sold a few things on ebay, I would definitely recommend it!
So long as you put some effort in to your sales (good quality pictures, and good descriptions) then you are bound to sell.
Just be wary of VERY new users, and those with no activity in the last year or so.
I was selling my Galaxy S on ebay, and had to list it THREE times because scammers had won the auction. and then tried sending me fake paypal emails and getting me to send the item whilst 'payment was processed with Western Union'
I would suggest that you ONLY accept payment via paypal, and that you take control of your auction.
I cancelled the bids of people I didn't trust, ended the auction early and sold to the current high bidder. £20 less, but it was clear from their ratings that they could be trusted.
I've been buying stuff at ebay. I got this phone there too.
Paypal is required if you want to be entitled to the Buyer's Protection Program.
Haven't tried selling though.
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
Im currently hooked on ebay......
Sold my old N95 and a W850i....... Reinvesting the money in "broken" phones...
Just look at the user feedbacks, a lot of people ask that users with a low number of feedbacks dont bid on their items. You could try that but beware you may be excluding genuinely honest people who just dont use ebay very much.
Paypal allows you to claim back you money if you dont receive an item as well so its not really a bad thing. You dont have to give them your bank details either if you dont want to.
If your selling high value items then take a not of serial numbers etc..
In case some twat tries to get a refund on his broken down crap and keep the working one you sent him.

Question related to gearbest.com

Hi Guys,
I have ordered two products from gearbest.com. After placing the order "W1508272112112192", I got mail asking me to provide my ID as well as My credit card photo to verify the transaction. I provided them both.
They reviewed it and said that "We are sorry that we cannot accept this unverified transaction via credit card. If you like the items, please place a new order and pay for the order via western union. Then we will not ask you for these pictures." and cancelled my order with refund.
Write now I am waiting for the refund of USD 100.71.
Please tell me that is my money coming back or there is some fraud? What should be the next step, I will do to save my money?
Please reply me fast, I will be very thankful to you guys!
Also I want to purchase a cheap and best android TV box with a gamepad for my son. From where I can buy that?
Sounds like a scam if they are wanting you to use Western Union as opposed to a credit card. You have less recourse to take action with Western Union versus the credit card, which is likely why they wanted you to go that route. I'd call your bank ASAP and let them know what's going on and try to recoup your money. I'd also be on the lookout for fraudulent charges on your credit card.
Gearbest is so shady and I will never use them again, I'd recommend staying far away.
I ordered a Chuwi Vi10 64GB w/ keyboard case on 9/11/15; I had to do the "sketchy" ID verification also, but they took my order and my money.
I received a broken keyboard on 10/2/15 , and over 30 days later, still no tablet.
Now the replacement keyboard is out of stock.
They suggest I find an alternative keyboard to replace it (for a custom keyboard/case made for the tablet, WTF!).
I've re-ordered the tablet & keyboard from banggood.com, got my fingers crossed.
P.S. Techtablets has other user reviews for Gearbest, they pretty much suck!!!
gearbest made me wait over 2 weeks to send item and they still havent sent it to me so there making me wait 12 business days to get refund i will never buy from them again
Personally I do not do business with ANYONE who will not take a CC and asks for something like Western Union.
Honestly, I prefer PayPal for everything but if for some reason they don't do paypal they had better do a Major CC, it's about buyer protection.
I had the same issue when trying to order the GPD XD the other month. In the end I told them to send a refund and ignored their following replies. In the end it arrived luckily.
Never before have I been asked to provide such ID online nor will I ever.
