I've just got me an HTC Wings (S730). I'm currently using the HTC Home Screen as I really like it...
But I was wondering if there's anyway to get the Home Screen to show more than only one appointment ?
I'm a really newbie to all this with WM6, so it should be a kinda simple solution or at least a solutions with good guidance

I haven't found a way to do it on the standard software, but use PocketBreeze to accomplish that. Not sure if it is possible to do on the standard interface (unless you have an all day appointment, which it will then show more than one).

I added HTC home on this WM6 ROM!

Rom is very fast no problems! Just waiting for GPRS!
Can you tell us a bit more? Those of us who have not yet flashed the new WM6 rom can't try it out. And fior those who already can I believe it's still nice to be able to read about it first.
What I found so far is:
HTC HomePlug: Today screen plug-in (Displaying Time/messaging notifications/Launcher), allowing quick changes of various options, such as weather, missed calls, sms/email notifications, time/alarm changing & program launcher.
My main questions are
how easy is it to customise its looks? (I don't like the huge clock)
does it give repeating alerts for missed calls etc? (miss this very much)

I only installed it today.
I tried using it on my WM5 device, but it did not want to work.
Now on WM6 i was able to get it to work.
I did not try and modify the clock, but its features is amazing.
It has a weather screen(Default) And a launcher menu that you can modify to add/ remove shortcuts of programs of choice.
The main screen (One with clock) has got full notification service (mail/ sms/ missed calls) and a function to set your alarms from the main screen.
Im impressed!

I found a version for WM5, witrh alot of mods and stuff required, i tried once or twice and failed, and the left it!!

so i got a t-mobile wing. my first smart phone. its amazing. anyways i have a few questions:
1. Where can i get a nice big digital clock today screen plugin? i see them on screen shots of peoples screens but i can't find any.
2. Are there any good weather today screen plugins?
3. Some people (or at least on other devices) have SMS as a softkey, mine are calendar and contacts, is there a simple option to make the calendar softkey be SMS instead? or do i have to edit the registry or something crazy like that to get it?
4. Do i really have to worry about viruses on this thing? i saw something like WM5 Anti Virus program, so im just wondering.
5. What is the best browser to use?
if you guys could help me that would be great. i have yet to find a forum about WM6 or the Wing that where people actually go to the site.
All of those and more are located within the forum in easy to find threads. The great thing about looking around the forum is you will find stuff out that you never even thought of. I would recommend reading and getting acquainted to the forums, its a much better way to learn than someone just linking you somewhere. And congrats on your new Wing.

HTC home plugin shows weather. if not try SPB Weather, SPB Traveler, SPB phone suite (the only ones I have experience with)

Go to Settings, Buttons to change the softkeys

In my opinion, no not really ... just be considerate of what you install on your phone and what executable files you run.

I haven't settled on one yet, but I use Mozilla's MINIMO and OPERA 8.X apart from IE.

i guess my other post didn't show up? well every search results in HTC Home or TouchFlo.
i don't want all the stuff from HTC home, just the clock and simple weather, no tabs or any of that stuff. is there a way to have just the clock and/or weaher?

also, going to settings>buttons has no optinos for softkeys, only hardware keys.
opera mobile is a lot better, i like how you can scroll by dragging on the screen.
I do use Opera most of the time, I've just always been a big supporter of Mozilla stuff ... so I keep it around

I have a plan try some other today sw:s like wisbar, spb plus, ilauncher snd so on...
What I am most worried is HTC Home things or sw:s. F.e there is a tab for profiles (silent, meeting...) and launcher.... and so on...
So my question is if I remove HTC Home from my desktop where I can find settings for profiles and other htc home applications.

If you remove it, why do you need the settings for it ?
The only thing you really lose is the automatic profiles, which only works if you have the today plug-in, afaik.
RPG0 you got my point... sorry my bad english...
I can find Comm Manager, brightness, lock, active sync but really... how I can change my profiles when I am not using HTC Home.
And answer for your question: I want remove it because (from my point of view) it takes 2 much space from today screen (even it is quite nice application). However I would like to use f.e pocket breeze and I needed more space.
Or is it possible create 2 or more "today screens", and in some of these screens (or pages) would be also HTC Home...

I just got my AT&T Tilt and I want to know how can I change the default AT&T Tilt screen to the original HTC Kaiser Screen that look like the pic attach.

It's been a few months since I have been to this forum and it looks like there are lots of cool new programs and a new device (the diamond) that has provided some new cabs. I had gotten a lot of great cabs and tips here from last September through Spring but have not really added much to my phone since then. I had Ultimate Launcher with HTC Home as one of the cube faces and I really loved it. Anyway, I recently ruined my Tilt and had it replaced but the new Tilt has windows mobile 6.1 in place of 6.0 and not all of my old cabs/programs work anymore. I'm excited to see what else is out there for 6.1, but in the meantime, I noticed that the stock tilt comes with a version of HTC Home that has 4 of the 5 tabs (it's missing the music tab). I tried to use HTC home customizer but I can't. I can't seem to load a new version of HTC home over it either. I could not find the HTC Home program in the list of removable programs.
Maybe it's time for me to take the leap and move to a flashed ROM but every time I read through the instructions I get a little nervous and decide to wait until I feel like I really know what I am doing.
Anyway, I'd like to remove this stock version of HTC Home and load up a new version of HTC Home and start adding some cool cabs that work with WM6.1 but I can't find any threads addressing this HTC Home issue. Does anyone have any advice?
I too am interested in this if it is possible.
I dont have a working pc at home right now so flashing is not really an option for me.
What version of HTC home are you trying to install. I think there are a few out there. Also what error or msg are you getting when trying to install the faulty htc home plugin?
I successfully installed the new HTC home over the stock one on my AT&T stock ROM 6.1 and nothing broke. it pretty much overwrites the previous one so you don't have any duplicate entries in the remove programs or anything.
i tried to install HTC Home - Schen 2.1 with N2A weatherpatch (UPX compressed). i just realized my mistake was not deselcting it from the home screen before installing the cab. i feel like a jackass. thanks to the people who offered help. by the way is there a newer, better version of HTC home to install?
