hi guys..i have been having this problem which i did a search but could not find an ans..once in awhile,my phone will auto connect to the internet without me doing anything or activating..the connection is via gprs if i am correct as my wifi is not turn on...any one facing the same prob or is there anything i can do to stop it??

Please please help me. I have Kaiser and I am not able to connect to GPRS or WLAN. I ve tried many ROMs and none of them seem to work. I have manually entered GPRS settings and I cannot connect. When I plug USB cable then I am able to surf on internet. WLAN I can detect but cannot surf. I now that there is mistake either in ROM or in some settings since I find it hard to believe that mobile like Kaiser isn't able to do so. I am from Croatia if it helps. Could someone guide me what is the best thing do or I need to take my phone to service?

I must say that on some ROMS WIFI has worked but on none of them GPRS worked.
look in the WiFi settings and turn it to best performance.
manually entered gprs settings?
why did you do that? it wont automatically detect them?
sry to ask such noob question here, as i really dunno how to set it in my touch pro.
My problem is, how do i disable from getting connected to the GPRS automatically when the wi-fi disconnected by itself? coz the connection of GPRS has deducted me a lot of money everytime the wi-fi disconnected by itself
anyone able to help me out?
who could help me solve my problem with regards to connecting my phone to the wifi? it just keeps on "connecting" but would never connect.

Hello everybody, I've searched on the forum, but I cannot find a solution to my problem. When I try to connect my iPad or my MacBook to the internet through my SGS I cannot surf the web. I mean, I can connect to the SGS via the wifi connection but it looks like there is no internet connection.. I am on Darky 7.0 rom. Is there any kind of setting which I have to make to be able to get an internet connection? Thanks for your help

Do you have a weak signal? I noticed when my signal is weak i can connect but the internet doesn't work.
No the signal is at the maximum but there is no internet connection..

I'm also having the same problem on 7.5 and 7.6. Maybe bring this up in his thread?
Edit: Im in an area with HSDPA for data too, but when I switch to tethering via wifi or even USB, it doesn't switch to HSDPA. And it wont let me browse the net from a PC. Browsing within the phone works fine.
check your APN settings if they are correct
If my APN settings won't correct I wouldn't be able to browse from the handset itself, which I can do no problem. Its only when I tether.

Im new with HTC phones, so Im not able to surf the web using IE, I have the wifi connected to a network, but IE tries to use the phone line which I dont have set up yet, I already read the tilt manual and didnt find anything.
