problem viewing embedded youtube videos - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

i hav some blog subscription in RSS-hub (in this case: www.beppegrillo.it, if anyone want to try) with some youtube video embedded.
with my "old" touch cruise, when i tap on embedded video, it open youtube page optimized for mobile devices. then "streaming media" application start and video is loaded and played.
Now, with my diamond, RSS-HUB launch opera as a desktop, without any way to play video.
is there a way to solve this problem?

anyone notice you can watch youtube videos(not mobile youtube) in pie after downloading the flash plugin?
I have already been doing so but by using the TCPMP and "FlashVideoBundle.cab" technique because PIE was never able to play videos directly from the youtube site. Opera 8.65 on the other hand could.
But maybe they have changed something lately at youtube and the videos work directly in PIE.
Could you please comment how is the video quality. Is it choppy?? because that is how it is on Opera 8.65 but on the other hand very smooth on TCPMP
Regards
How do you use the TCPMP and "FlashVideoBundle.cab" technique? Do you start with PIE and then, when you give the command to play the video, the TCPMP pops up and plays it? I have tried it several times and typically the Streaming Video player that comes with the Kaiser pops up and takes over. I have adjusted the TCPMP by checking the MMS and the video profiles etc., but cannot get it to come on line and take over from the native (Streaming Video Player) Kaiser program. Any thoughts?
When I installed TCPMP I too faced this problem that when I clicked on a movie in youtube the default streaming media player would pop up and not be able to play.
The only thing that I did which corrected the situation was :-
Start TCPMP player, navigate to Options / Select Page / File Associations / and check the following boxes in addition to the ones already checked by default.
MMS Protocol
HTTP Protocol
Flash Video
M3U Playlist Files (M3U)
Hope this helps
it is choppy but I think it is because there is no way to resize the video to fit the screen.

Problems playing videos in fullscreen

Hey, all of a sudden I can't play videos in full screen(landscape mode with windows media player. I don't know why this is happening. The only thing I have done to my tilt recently is install the spb mobile shell. Everytime I select full screen the video remains the same size and also has the wrong orientation remaining in portrait mode. I have also encountered another problem when I watch streaming videos from my computer through orb. The videos would not be in full screen. But I just assumed that was because the stream from orb doesn't support it. But as I stated my main problem is that none of my videos play in full screen or landscape mode.
Try use TCMP or Coreplayer. I gave my less trouble. WMP is troublemaker and user not friendly...
I really like Core Player for videos. The videos are very sharp, and it's a clean, easy format to use. No problem watching in full screen.
I only use WMP for audio.
KaiserTweak has a fix for this under the "User Interface" section (second to last tweak in this section).
IMO, i think you should migrate from WMP to TCPMP (or core player I suppose, though i don't know much about it.)
TCPMP is my favourite, as it can play pretty much anything you throw at it, there's a mass of options to tweak to get the video and audio just right for you, if you're interested, check this thread

Youtube Help

Im on my XDA Stellar and I am connected to the internet via my wireless BT Home Hub router, I'm using IE on my phone and when I visit youtube.com and try to watch a video, it just comes up the Streaming Media and just says "Connecting..." for ages, nothing else comes up. Whats wrong?
install tcpmp and find that flashvideobundle cab around here and reset.use pie to search and start video playback
also give coreplayer a try, it is really easy to use

Yeah man i never got Youtube to work. I installed TCPMP and flash video, soft reset and nothing. I just use VTap. I can search for videos on youtube and watch them.
Look for VTap
All I do is win
I had the same thing. The streaming media player can't really be trusted for youtube it seems. I found a neat little program on the forum which plays youtube video's very well. It's called "Youtubeplay" and can be found here: LINK. I can now watch youtube in the train

please help

The problems:
1) cannot play 3gp files in windows media player:
I downloaded the TCMP to solve the first problem
2) cannot view image in default photo viewer (the one in windows mobile, not the one in HTC)
I download a photo viewer to solve the second problem
3) cannot play youtube videos in the HTC youtube player (but it can found the videos)
Even I download coreplayer, my opal still cannot play youtube video (it still can find video)
Does anyone know what happened, or have the same problem?
Is there any way for my opal to work in default again (besides hard reset)??
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Use official YouTube application by Google for WM!
I already installed the youtube app but it isn't so comfortable with me... it bothers me that after a search for a video i cannot categorize the results by rating for example. It also bothers me that the videos are opened with the streaming media app and not with TCMP or another video app. Now, as it concerns the m.youtube.com site, the videos are opened only with the streaming media app and not with another video player. Can i change that? Can somebody help?
