Problems with SMS and "accept call" button - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi,
I have too problems now.
1. When I receive a call, if I push the "tactil answer" button, I haven't the communication; il works like if I had rejected the incoming call (so I have regularly to call back !!! Not really economic...)
Actually, I used the hard butoon to accept the incoming call, and it works.
But do you have any solution ?
2. When I missed a call, I received a SMS what infoms me that I have a new message. OK, but the expeditor of the SMS is each time my boss !!! (the latest contact of my list). Can you explain that, and what I have to do ?
My ROM is 1.37.406.1 FRE, and I use SFR.

Nobody have a idea ?? Help me please...

I have this problem once but after flashing my device to another ROM, this problem seems to have disappeared. So, I can't really say I help you but this is what I did to make the problem go away.

Ok thank you for this answer...
I see the new ROM 1.93.XXX... is now available in French, so I think I will go on in a few days !

# Rings Incoming Calls

Hi,
I have a CDMA Touch from Telus Mobility in Canada.
The issue I am having is # rings with incoming calls.
I am using latest Jawbone Bluetooth headset, when I have an incoming call, I receive 2 rings and calls goes to voice mail.
I have called HTC Support and Telus support, they have no solution.
Is there a setting to modify the number of rings for incoming calls?

If you're talking about the number of rings before the voicemail kicks in, yes there is a solution if your phone number is in Alberta or BC.
I dont know what Alberta or BC is...
but on my phone i do it like this...
Start->Settings->click phone->'Services(dono if it's called this, second tab)
There is a list, in that list there should be (again, dono the english word) 'forward to'
click Get Settings...
now u can set the number of secunds before it connects the call to voicemail..
with the intervals 5,10,15,20,25,30 seconds (at least with my phone provider)
hope this helps
thanks nisse thats very helpfull.
by the way forward to is call forwarding.
Excellent!!

3 rings delay in incoming call
Hi,
This might be due to another related issue:
There is delay of 3 rings before the diamond actually starts ringing.
i.e, after the caller has heard 3 rings, only then the diamond starts ringing, and by the time you pick the call, there will be many rings and it will go to answer phone as usual.
As soon as there is an incoming call, the light starts blinking. But there is a delay in the ringer/vibrate. You can try this out by calling from another phone.
This might be cause for your issue.
I too am having the same problem, and I'm searching for a solution. Maybe some cab which fixes the 3 rings dealy in incoming call... I'm sure there must be some such cab. Still going through the threads in the forum.
Could anybody please point us to a fix if you know...
Thks,
Sandeep
I've got the same problem on my touch pro..
It's even worse actually - I'm experimenting, but it seems like half the time the phone *never rings* when wifi is on and if it's asleep...
What the???

I think that he's referring to the 3 second delay built into most phones. On earlier devices this was fixed by changing the polling time in the phone programming. (often referred to as the Slot Cycle Index). I haven't tried it on my Diamond as I haven't noticed that much of a lag.
Since I was thinking about it, I decided to try. I changed my SCI from 2 to 0.
I did look and found that I don't have that "Forward to" option in my phone settings. Probably a provider change.

SJPhone when ringing

Hello,
I have installed SJphone to use voip on my diamond. However everything works but how do I answer a call when it starts ringing? It seems unclear how to do that as I do not get any button to answer?
nobody!!
nobody uses SJPhone in their HTC diamond?
How to answer a call? So far I couldn't figure it out, therefore I put auto answer option on to be able to pick up the call!!!!
nobody
anybody?
How do I answer the call in sjphone please???
hi.
i encountered the same problem as you did.
the problem is because that SJPHONE you installed is for wm2003.
the bottom of the dialogue of an incoming call which showing the "answer" and "reject"
button won't display correctly on wm6.1.
just download the wm5 version SJPHONE from this link and install it, problem solved.

call forwarding notification problem

Hi
I have a problem with my Diamond.
If i redirect a call from a phone to my diamond, when someone calls the number on that phone, the diamond doesn't notify me that the call is forwarded.
In conclusion i don't know if someone calls my diamond or my other phone.
Is there a software or something like that fixing this notification ?
Thanks
I second this!
I have same problem, any solution?

[Q] Problem with incoming calls

Hi all. What a great forum! I own my Htc Touch Viva (Opal T2223) since last January. I have a big problem. When people call me, it happens sometime that they hear the waiting for answer tone, but my phone does not ring. In addiction to this, the Touch Viva does not report any information about the unanswered calls. So they say: "ehi dear, why didn't you call me back?". And I: "when did you call me? I have receveid no call from you." Did anyone have the same problem? Thanks in advance.
P.S. When the problem was manifesting itself, I was using the original rom (6.1 Windows Mobile). After an Hard reset for the device, the problem was still manifesting.

Incoming call (second call with call waiting on) problem with 20140622 TeamCanjica

Hello,
this is my first post. I am not sure it is right place, I hope it is.
I have the following problem with 20140622 TeamCanjica ROM. When I receive the second call (incoming call during the first one), the first call is silently muted ! I still can cancel the incoming call, but the first call is muted and the original called is not aware our connection has been broken.
After I realized this behaviour, I moved back to 20140607 and call waiting mode works properly.
I think this is a bug of 20140622 version. Should I report it somehow?
Regards,
Piotr
