Newbie questions. - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hello everybody, and thanks for this website.
I am new in the PPC world and I hope I will enjoy it!
I bought my Diamond in France. It is simlocked by Orange. I already bought my unlock code (i will receive it in 7 days)
2 questions :
-Could someone describe me step by step how I can get to the page where i will have to type my code?
-I really need to get rid of this horrible Orange ROM! Can I flash my diamond before un-simlocking it, and un-simlock it when i receive the code when it will be runing on a different ROM ?
(Sorry for my poor english )
Thanks

unlock and debrand

Hi m8s,
i bought a Orange SPV M700 when i've been in London to work, but now i'm living in italy and i would unlock to italian providers and debrand.
Is there anybody that could help me in this job?
Do i have to unlock first and then debrand(i found on ebay guys that sell unlocking software)with the italian ROM?
Could i use the HTC P3600(unbranded rom)without a previous unlocking?
Is it better to load the new rom with WM6 o wait for it and use the WM5 one?
I apologized for all these questions, but i'm new without experience in this field with this phone.
Best regards

Need help with updating, ROM question...

Hello everyone! Im a noob to Windows Mobile but am a veteran computer programmer by profession. As such I feel like a real noob when it comes to this question
Im currently living abroad in Germany and have purchased a Kaiser via T-Mobile, branded as MDA Vario III. Well I love the device but my german sucks and the whole OS is in german. Is there anyway I can flash to ROM to get an english version of the OS? If I did this would it still work in Germany via T-Mobile or is there some kind of lock to the current ROM? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I Need Help Guys Please Help

Hello Guys,
I am writing from New Zealand. i bought an HTC Diamond PRO in Germany and I would like to flash it into english. I have tried multiple ROMS that I found in this site but nothing work. Could you please help me out ....I think this device is a Vodafone ROM becasue I bought it in a Vodafone store. I want to start using my device but my German is next to nothing. Please help guys,
Thank You
You say its the PRO version, does this mean you have a hardware keyboard?
If so you are in the wrong forum and need to be in the Raphael one.
Either way you need to flash your device with a WWE rom. Have a look in the ROM section (either Diamond or Raphael) there is loads of help there

[Q] Desimlocked or not Desimlocked ?

Hi Guy !
First, I'm french, so excuse me for the bad english ( if it is ^^ !)
So, I put my HTC HD7 in a full unlock with the Rom NEXTGEN+, and i want to know : Is my phone desimlocked or not ? Beacause i can't test, all my relatives had a micro-sim...
Thanks a lot for reply to my question !

Monsieur
The Sim lock is programmed in the hardware, you must pay for the service...
Changing the OS (ROM) won't unlock the phone radio (the one that has the SIM lock)
You can find many websites with good prices, but to do it you must have an invalid (from another carrier) SIM card installed to introduce the unlock code.
Good luck!
