HI,
First of all I would like to say thank you to all the people of this website which is doing his best to give us day by day new elements to appreciate better and better our phone.
Now this is my problem :
I've currently a kaiser with the diamond L9 rom and the radio 1.71
I've installed on my kaiser TOMTOM 7.45 and since that , I can't ear nothing from the other part when someone is calling me or when I call Someone
Anyway, if I put the speaker on I can ear the oher part and it works also with a headset.
This problem is quite annoying cause I don't want all the people arround me listen to my conversation with the speaker on !
I've tested other roms and also a lot of radios but the problem still remains
I've also tested rom 6.0 with radios 6.0 but without any good results.
I've also tried the audiogain solutions but nothing !
Please can someone give me the solution ??

I'm kind of new to upgrading PDAs . Recently I upgraded my imate pda2k (wm2k3se) to xplode's rom...
I had many probs : first after the upgrade I couldn't get internet working on my device , nor Phone services
After a hard reset, everything seemed to work fine , until today , when my device stopped giving sound : I can't hear ringtones , or screen taps , or a media file... in call sound doesn't work too
(I'm not that dumb , I've checked all sound bars and progs...)
Maybe it's because I've installed lot of apps (and patches) , maybe it could affect...
Please someone help me , I cannot endure hard resetting my device again
P.S : If there is already a patch or an info already provided that could fix it and I didn't notice , I'm really sorry (as I said I'm a newbie)

No Sound on PDA2K after WM5 Upgrade?
I had this same problem and it took me two weeks to get it to finally work. There are three "Patches" that are out there that help the situation depending on your specific case. In my case I downloaded a cab file from Maimach which helped and then I downloaded another BT upgraded cab file, so I am not sure which one resolved the problem but now my device works great! Does your device work with a corded speaker output connection, such as a corded hands free kit or running it to external speakers? Mine did but just wouldn't push out any sound via the main speaker on the device. Check out he forum for the threads and links they are all there.

The earphones don't work too .
I hard resetted my device last night , it was working FINE. This morning I wake up , and no sound !!!!!!

I was just wondering if any of you have come across the following problem.
My wife and I both have HTC P4350 devices that are not SIM Locked in any way.
When we were using WM5 the devices worked perfectly, but with WM6 after a while, the ring-tone (and all audio that we play on the device) is played faster (and at a higher pitch) than usual. It sounds almost as though someone is spinning the LP record too fast
Has anyone here come across the same problem? If so... do any of you know of a solution as it is a really annoying fault.
Before anyone asks.... I have found this problem on 3 devices now, so I don't think that it is a problem with the actual devices.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I have since tried the update on a third device and it also has the same problem.
It is definitely a problem with the ROM!!

Could the problem be due to the network provider? Which network provider do you use?
I have now tried the upgrade with 3 different machines, and they all have the same problem.
Is it even possible that this type of problem could be caused by the network?

I have been using my HTC Touch for more than 1 and half year, recently it start to have this problem, mp3 or ringtone become fast (high pitch). Any solution???
Hello I am also having this issue with a Tmobile Dash. I am using Kavanah's WM6.1 ROM.
I was wondering is this an issue that can be fix by changing something in the registry? I did a hard and soft reset on this device. It worked the first time I played an mp3. Once I used it a second time it started playing fast.
I've been searching the forums and I landed on this threat. I will keep on searching.

Well here is what i did. I sent the phone to htc hellas where they replaced the mic and the earphone. Problem not solved. Then sent it to htc uk where they replaced the speaker and the main board.Problem not solved.
Suddenly today while using the bluetooth headset i observed on the phone a sudden drop on the volume indicator while speaking (different indicator from the one while not speaking). Most probably a software error (windows mobile)?
So do u think there is any registry change, tweak which can keep the indicator constant on a certain level??
By the way i have also changed a lot of roms and problem remains.

You have missed one important factor. THE RADIO!! Some ROM/RADIO combos dont work correctly. The camera and everything else will work, but sometimes when you talk to people they cant hear you and its got a static sound. I experienced this with certain rom/radio combinations, as soon as I changed the radio though, never had the problem.
So whats the radio you recommend for low battery consumption and compatible with duttys latest rom? By the way no static sound exists while people cannot hear me. Also i almost tried most of the radios but most of the times with duttys roms.

Well Dutty's "latest ROM" would be the (June 7th)Diamond v1, another would be (March 24th)Diamond BETA, (April 29yh)Dutty's Hybrid. I am not sure which one you are using. What radio's were you using? The 1.65.xx radios on Dutty's Hybrid?
Yes i am using the latest diamond rom of duttys along the 1.65.16.25 radio.

it is working fine BUT why i hear the other person on the spekerphone insted of on the earphone ?
i tried to change that but could not find the right way .

as far as i know, there is no way to change it. just wait for a new version.

Yes, the earphone is not working, only the speaker but you can lower the volume so only you will hear and not all the rest around you. Also the camera is not working. Maybe this will be operational in a new version!!!

When in a call i am not able to hear any sound. Then when i switch it to speakerphone it works fine.
I thought my speaker are not working i changed my speakers. But the problem still there.

Ringtone is fine, speakerphone is fine.
I have the same issue, it happened suddenly when i was in a call when i stopped listening to te call, so i had to switch to speaker.I did hard reset , changed rom nothing happened.When i call myself i can hear the busy tone, but when i call someone nothing happens!!!Any ideas???

i am out of warantee too...the only solution i found is by using speaker and reduce the volume so that i don't get deaf...

excuse me for my bad english first, i probe to change my rom from energy rom to romeo2 3.0.1, and change the radio for 1.11.25.01, and that works in my case. I have one day half with the new change and i don't any trouble with the call phones. I change too the AudioPara3csv for the better sound in the mobile and all the stuffs works fine.

Have u tried a different radio for your diamond? When i had that prob with my Kaiser that solved the problem
