Call+SMS blocker with Reply - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

First of all, I am using an AT&T Tilt with stock ROM and WM6 pro.
I have been searching forever for a program that can Block both CALLS and SMS and then be able to automatically respond to each with a predefined sms.
The only one that I have come across is CALL SMS blocker which can be seen here. This program would be AMAZING if only the sms auto response worked. It has the ability to block both calls + sms, and then even send an automated sms response for both. Its just that after it has blocked the call and/or sms it will not send the automated sms response. I dont know if I am doing something wrong. So if anyone has this program working on their Kaiser then could you help me out.
Another idea I had was to use 2 separate programs to achieve my goal. I was going to use Auto SMS reply (found here) to take care of automatically responding with an sms to my missed calls and then I was going to use another program to automatically respond to text messages. Only problem now is that I cant find a program that automatically replies to text messages. So if anyone knows of such a program could you please let me know, I would be very appreciative. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me.

I don't know if you searched the whole forum, but doing it right gave me for example this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2335726
They talk about Magicall. Can have a look

How would one send an SMS to a landline? If nothing but cell phones called me I could see a great use for something like this but I get a lot of calls from regular phones.

Incoming/outgoing calls to people in MyFav 5 not being logged

I decided to post this in a new thread. Sorry if it was the wrong thing to do.
I installed some of the cabs found here, specifically the HTC plugins
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326655
After performing the mods, the call history is not logging any calls to/from people that are in my fave 5 anymore. So I thought maybe the actual My Fav 5 program is logging the calls now, but no, it's not.
Anyone else experiencing this? The today screen plugin for missed calls does not increment by one when i have a missed call from someone in my fave 5, the call history does not log any of my fave 5 calls, and the My Faves program does not log them anymore either.
Any have any suggestions? What could have caused this problem? One of the HTC cabs I installed maybe?
Thank you in advance!

I'm really stumped here. This is my last try to bump the thread up in hopes that someone has answer.

hmm? My MyFaves is setup correctly. The problem is that my phone doesn't report/log any calls that are to or from people in my My Faves list. It reports/logs all other calls though.
I guess since all calls to myfaves people are free ... the phone doesn't register the calls or minutes used to those people so they aren't accounted for in any type of logs.
if you're running a custom rom, they wont be accounted for through any type on log on your phone
only way to track is through my-tmobile.com
I'm not running a custom ROM, just the HTC cabs and the pagepool hack.
It's disappointing because I don't know when someone from my My Fave 5 called me. It doesn't report it as a missed call! I'm not really trying to track the calls, I just want to be notified when I have a missed call.

I have the exact same problem. I have installed the same things. NOTHING in the call history involving anyone on fave 5. A fix for this would be huge for me. If anyone in my fav 5 calls and doesn't leave a message, it never tells me I have a missed call, and it never shows in the history. VERY frustrating.

Yeah that's the problem! I can't even find the calls from within the actual My Fav Program. The only thing listed in the log section are the text messages.
Something happened and we could really use a fix!
I got somewhere... someone sent me a private message and explained that they removed the "+" sign from the contacts.
Well I've tried to remove the country code, the plus sign, and tried formatting the number is different ways. So far I have gotten the outgoing calls to be logged, but if you call the person using the htc favorite people plugin or the contact manager. Outgoing calls are still not logged when calling via the myfave program.
I keep trying different things. Would someone mind sharing the format of the numbers in their contact manager and then also the format of the numbers in the myfave program? Thanks
I just edited the my favs contact number directly from the contact program (not the my favs program) with ####### no spaces, it automatically reformatted it to (xxx)xxx-xxxx, and it logs both incoming and outgoing calls fine from the 5 tab favorite contact screen. I don't have touch flo installed just have the regular interface skinned with the 5 tab, Pocket CM contact list, the htc dialpad, and the htc new default theme. It took me a few mins just messing with the contact number to get it working, but once it works, it works.

Ok..it seems to log outgoing calls that way....but no luck on incoming, what about missed calls? I seem to only have luck on it working when I dial them.
Also, when they call, their number shows up with their name and the "1(xxx)...." before it, even though the "1" isn't in the number in contacts. That probably has something to do with it...but I can't seem to fix that.
After editing them from my contacts, I still see they have the +1 in myfaves, which also seems to be having an effect.
For anyone that might know...
Is there a way I could just remove the myfaves application, which is probably a main cause of it not working right? I can just call them from my contacts or the home page contacts, which works for me if it means missed calls will show. So is it possible to just remove the application altogether? I assume it would still work because I could still access the numbers (and change them if necessary) online.
Welllllllllllllll.......
I went back, hard reset my wing, installed the stock t-mobile RUU. I then added things back one by one figuring I'd figure out which thing was causing my problem. It seems the pagepool is causing SOME problem (it doesn't NOTIFY me when I miss a call), but now even with everything I previously had installed, all calls show up in call history. I don't mind that it's not notifying me, as long as I can do a quick click into call history and see if I missed anything, so all is well now, I guess. I added my home phone # into my fav 5 (since I had an empty spot open anyway) and tested with that, calling back and forth over and over...it all seems to work fine. I'll be 100% sure when my gf or one of my friends calls me tomorrow, but it looks like I fixed it for now.
Start > Programs > myFaves > Menu > myFaves Settings > Refresh myFaves
If that doesn't solve your problems, log in to your My T-mobile account on the web and at least make sure you aren't getting charged regular minutes for your faves.
Oh, now I understand. Check out this:

Sending text message after refusing call?

Hi,
this is not strictly Kaiser specific I guess.
I recall sometime ago seeing a feature which looked useful. When somebody calls you and lets say you are busy, meeting or driving etc.
You get a prompt to refuse the call and at the same time send a pre-defined text message back to them straight away.
So they get put through to your voicemail and also recieve a text from you to say "Sorry I'm in a meeting, will get back to you ASAP" . Is this a WM 2005+ feature?
Also another one
Is it possible to only send your caller id to people that are in your contacts list when making calls? Anybody else does not see your number?
Thought I saw that one on my old XDA iis?
Thanks
Mike
the text msg one seems useful. what if they are calling from a landline and not mobile like with most businesses? will the sms bounce back to you and says unable to send or something? just curious.

Well I seem to recall it was up to you what you did with the call, ie based on the number ringing . In the uk at least its possible to spot a mobile number easily.
I seem to think a small menu came up with several choices.
i don't know if this app will help. I've never used it but ran across it a few weeks ago.

I bet something like this could be down with MortScript... I'll research it, i've been wanting to get into MortScript, this would be a perfect test.

There are several apps (commercial ones) that do this. PhotoContacts Pro does it. And I think a couple of other phone utils do also (SPB or VITO may make one, don't remember).

Yes that looks very much like it.
I was sure it was part of WM already. Must have got it wrong.
Thanks, I'll check it out when I get my WM device soon!

Call Firewall
I'm using call firewall, it's a great app imo....
Photo Contact Pro has a reject/auto SMS feature. As for caller ID, My Kaiser has the following function. Go to phone, Menu tab, Options, Services, highlite Caller ID & press get settings. It then allows me the option to:
1. Send ID to everyone
2. Send ID to contacts only
3. Do not send ID
Maybe this is AT&T specific, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Only thing with ''call firewall'' is that when you are on a call if a call comes in it disconnect both the call your on and the one coming in... my experience.
There is also Magicall that does this:

One commercial product I have used in the past is Auto SMS Reply 2.0. I think is it was around $15.00 dollars when I bought it. I don't know of any free ones on this site.
http://classic.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=18331
thanks for the quick reply ill check that one out, but i know there is a free one out there lol. Its been in a few roms in the past i looked throught a few but could not find anything...
Check this out -
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1712
It is free, does what are looking for. Only problem is it will try to send an SMS in response EVERY missed call - it can't tell if the calling number is a cell phone or a fixed line phone.
I really want a program that would ask me if I wanted to send an SMS after the call was not answered or would even ask me while the phone is ringing. (Possibly just bring up the dialog of of a new SMS with the number already there) The Palm OS has that feature built in and it's very nice. Does anybody know of anything like it?
I actually found that program: SPB Phone Suite does exactly that, it will ask if you want to send an SMS after the call is over or ignored.
The one used to use is Mobile Secretary
http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2006/10/23/the-mobile-secretary.aspx
Is there any Symbian appplication for same ? Windows mobile is bit restriction.
Doesn't s2u2 support this feature now?

CALL/SMS BLOCKER plus sms auto response

Call_SMS Blocker. I found this program the other day and I just wanted to share it with everyone. This app is amazing! I searched everywhere to find something like this. With this software you can COMPLETELY block both calls and sms. Also it will send an automatic sms on your behalf when your busy. Your probably saying, yeah well that new PowerSMS program can do auto sms replies. Well did I mention that this app not only sends auto sms replies to callers but also to friends who TEXT YOU!! I think I found only like 1 other app that could do that and it wasnt nearly as good as this one. Most other ones out there either only allow you to select "known numbers" or "unkown numbers" to reply to. Well with Call_SMS Blocker, you can totally customize the lists of people that will receive your auto reply. You can even make custom messages for each individual person instead of just 1 master message like many other apps.
The only bad things about this software though is that it does cost money and it is a little confusing on how to set it up. But once you figure this thing out it is very powerful and by far the best call blocker sms blocker and sms auto responder out there!
If anyone decides to get this app I would be more than happy to help you out with getting it up and running and figuring out the settings to do what you want it to do.
This was just one of the best apps I have found in awhile and I just wanted to let others know about it. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope this program can come in handy for others like it did me.
have you tried this on WM6? link says WM5
Yes it will work on WM6. I am using it on my stock Tilt WM6 pro and it works perfectly. See, under the Download/Buy section. It says its available for WM5/WM6.x
This looks brilliant - purchased
Right, purchased this yesterday and it's awesome.
I have an annoying issue with an alarm system (secom) at my workplace, and being a keyholder, I really can't be chewed with middle-of-the-night (false) callouts. Tried to use another app to set unknown numbers to use a silent ringtone, but that didn't help in the middle of the night because of the ensuing answerphone notification.
I don't like the thought of turning my phone off, or putting onto silent in case of real emergencies from people I care about D).
Anyhoo....
.. this app is perfect. Simulates an immediate 'hangup' to unknown numbers, effectively (a) stopping you hearing them call and (b) disallowing them the ability to leave an answerphone message.

*happy*

Decline call, auto reply canned SMS, during specific hours

Hello XDA.. Fairly simple. I'm getting unwanted calls at 6am from a whole batch of numbers. I tried for a while the built in Do Not Disturb, but it's catching personal calls too (which may not be in my contacts).
I want this operation to run only between *0600 and 0900*. Reject call, send canned SMS requesting the caller to contact me via SMS "Please send SMS if its important" instead.
Tasker can do this? Thank you kindly ilu
