Hi, does anybody with ROM 1.93 has the same problem? Whenever I try to take over my desktop PC with my Diamond, I get the message to install a .cab first. Then I install it, after that I keep getting the message that I need to install it! Whenever I try in IE, it works fine. But I really want to use my Opera browser...
Does anyone know how (or if) I can fix this?

i have the same problem, its why i still have PIE installed.
I get problems too if i use any keyboard other than the WM default keyboard (you know the one with the tiny buttons)
Oh well...I guess the new Opera version is where the problem lies.
I'll have to use IE then. Lets hope the next Opera version solves the problem...

Great! Just installed, but found a bug. When I click on a box for input, ie login, password my keyboard switches to the default keyboard instead of my Diamond keyboard. Anybody else running into this?

Yes. But you can switch back to the Diamond Keyboard. But it does that switch everytime you click on a new form.
Although fortunately, the slide-out keyboard now works without issue. So I use that instead of the Diamond keyboard.
does anyone out there even know if there's a place where you can give feedback as far as the progress and other issues w/ some of the opera 9.5 builds? i've run into quite a few things that they need to fix, but going from build 1184 to this is honestly not an improvement at all (prettier skin...thats it)
there doesn't seem to be a place on their forums where you can just talk about problems w/ the browser like you can on the skyfire forums. i could always submit some of the problems as bugs, but they're not really that...looking for a spot for input.

I would also like to know. I almost never use it (always using opera mini) so i want to free up some memory. Anyone with a solution?
If you change the ROM only. It's embeded in Windows. But I thing that Opera is not so bad program. Especially 9 beta is fast and easy to use soft. And free of course
joolawan maybe there is a problem with your opera. Try hard reset of the phone. I had a same problem with Opera few months ago and did a hard reset of the phone. Until now no problems.
same to me, network error on opera browser. i did hard reset too. anyone can help....?

i have that old bELITE ROM installed and now a problem while using opera.
maybe someonme could try it with another rom or diamond version.

i get an overlay advertisement, that should close after some seconds or could be closed with a hit on "schließen [x]"
but this does not work!
any suggestions?
i would do a rom upgrade, but finding a nother way would be nicer.

€: i forgot to say that internet explorer does not have this problem and opera on blackberry can close the overlay by clicking
i think i may have a stupid question but ive really looked everywhere for the solution and cant find anything!
the problem is:
on my topaz (original rom etc) i installed opera mobile 9.7b just to try it out, didn't work wit the zoombar and G-sensor so i just unstalled it. but now when i open a link in e.g. an e-mail i get IE instead of opera 9.6 (the original delivered with the topaz).
i've looked every little file on my phone but i can't find where i can put the old opera back to default! anybody here maybe can help..
or... is it possible to integrate opera 9.7beta into the topaz, so i can use the zoombar and the tilt function when i'm browsing, and acces true the internet button on my touchflo 3d?
I like the new opera but it isn't really working for 100% integrated on my phone so the old one is better to use for me
Hey, I am new to flashing, so I am not fully up to date on every aspect, so sorry if this has been answered.
I recently flashed to itje's v12 Touchit rom, and i would rather have hardware keyboard than push support for the Opera Browser.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to get this? Do i just get the standard Opera Mobile cab from one of the threads and install it? Do i need to uninstall the one i have now first or will it just "update" it?
Or other options could be a registry fix? or does 9.7 beta work? Sorry i have been searching a long time and can't seem to find the answer.

edit: Just installed it, 9.7b works perfectly. But i would rather have the globe launch this one rather than the old one. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of getting this to work. I can't seem to uninstall the one that came with it, it just isn't in the list. I have also read that you go to application data/manila and change a reg in there to change the default, but first of all i don't seem to have the key and second what is the exe name for the beta?
