Found Perfect Case for Sprint Touch with Extended Battery - Touch CDMA Accessories

I just got the extended battery, the OEM HTC battery with cover, the 1880 version. Two days heavy use, just have to charge now. Big difference. But I needed a case for it. I saw some of the suggestion, including the HTC case that was at Best Buy, It was just a little big. I had read somewhere that possibly a case that was made for the Blackberry Curve would work. I headed over to Circuit City, the guy from the Verizon store was very helpful, even though I was buying for my Sprint Touch. He let me try out a few cases until I found the perfect one, with a perfect fit. I was like it was made for the Touch. Here it is. I included a picture of the case. Go try it out for yourself at any Verizon or Circuit City Store. The best thing is that it doesn't say anything on it, no Blackberry markings or anything with Verizon on it. It looks like a generic case.
Leather Side Pouch
Your Price $19.99 The handcrafted pouch of top grain leather and a protective leather flap with magnetic closure secures your device into the pouch.
(Part #RIM8330CAS)

I also have a Sprint Vogue with the Mogen Power 2400 mAh battery with a humpless back cover. I came across your post and took your advice and headed to the nearest Verizon store and found a similar leather case for the Blackberry Curve although it is the vertical hanging version and I love it. Paid 24.95 US.
Thanks for the tip.

ANY cases for Extended batteries?

I have the extended battery, and cant find a case ANYWHERE... Anyone know of anything?
That is a good question.. i have not seen anything offical other than seidio having cases for their extended batteries(still in development according to website.
Looks like walmart or a mall kiosk for a pouch as a temp fix to this case problem....
I used a razor blade to cut my soft case to fit my 3500 battery. Looks pretty good. I will never go back to using the stick battery.

It works for their extended battery or for the stock battery. I have been using one since it came out and also for years on my xv6800... I am VERY happy with their products so far.
Normal caveats... YMMV, IMHO, yadda yadda yadda

I took a razor blade to the Amzer Silicon case I have used before with the stock battery. The battery door sticks out a little. Cheap solution until there is actual products on the market...I think I paid $10 including shipping from ebay. I am sure you can mod any other stock case with a cutout so the battery can extend, but that is up to you... I figured the price I paid vs the use I got from it evened out

And for added protection stick one of these on the back of the battery door
http://web.grfxpstore.com/store/product/885036599
They come in all sorts of colors and designs
You can mod cases for the humpback door designs, but not the fatty doors all of the lower cost, eBay extended bats ship with.
I am wondering if I would have any luck buying a cheapo silicone and a cheapo hard case from Amazon or eBay, cutting the backs out of both of them for the extended battery, and putting them both on so it would be kind of like an Otterbox. Is that feasible or should I just buy the Otterbox and mod it (I figured the cheapo cases would be less of a loss if it turned out to be a big fail)?

Need better pics. The pic on the link provided looks nothing like anything that would fit on an Incredible. Do these cases fit on the Seidio 3500 mAh batteries?

I agree. Please post more pictures. The box shape of the case makes me wonder if the phone would just sit in the case with too much room. Like if you grip the phone with the case on it, does the case cave in around the phone? Does the case feel solid enough or firm when on the phone? Just doesnt look like it would conform to the phone correctly. Im sure im not describing what im trying to find out correctly.
Post pics of the inside of the case?
This case does not fit with the seidio innocell 3500 battery which imo is the only one worth buying there is a case specifically for this battery on the seidio website however doesnt appear to give much protection my hope is that they design a rugged case for the extended battery
For the 2150 HTC extended battery, here is a good place:

Would recommend not using silicone only as all of them tend to slip off pretty easily. But they do have hard rubber ones, the black ones look much better than red.

Bought 4 Cases (Seidio, Body Glove, Ballistics, Boxwave): Here is my 8 cents!

Hello everyone,
Ive been looking through this accessory thread ever since I owned my note 2 trying desperately to get rid of the crappy Body Glove case I was "borrowing" from Tmobile. Well, my three other cases came today, and after testing them all, I will tell you what I settled with.
First things first:
The Body Glove: I don't have any pictures of this crappy case, but you don't need any. Apparently I found out today after returning my version of the BG that they have OTHER styles which are far superior then the one that I had. But probably still pretty bad. This is the beginners case that you settle on if you have no idea how to surf the WWW. Obviously if you are reading this, you would never settle for this case, especially at the outrageous $30+ price tag.
Now for the 3 puppies that arrived today. I purchased these all on amazon.com.
The Seidio Active Case:
My initial thoughts are that this would be the case I would be settling with, especially after the youtube reviews... But after putting it on, and upon comparison, I realized that this case offers minimal protection as far as a drop would be concerned. It feels extremely cheap with the white plastic, and I had no idea that this is what I was purchasing. Not only that, but it has the same issue as the body glove - Slippery bastard. Sure the sides are rubber, but its an extremely soft smooth rubber that doesnt "Stick" if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty nice looking case, and I like the kickstand...but it's not for me. They also have other very vivid colors. As far as price goes, this case is a rip off at $30.35. Almost as bad as the body glove, but slightly cheaper and prettier.
The Ballistics Case:
This is the case that I read reviews about and heard is supposed to offer some of the best protection outside of Otterbox Defender case. Not to mention it looks good. Well, I opened this bad boy up, and noticed a few things right away. The rubber shell is not snug at all. When you snap on the plastic, it gets a little more snug, but I guarantee this case will fall apart everytime you drop your phone. This already had me worried. Another issue is the damn sides of the case. ITS CHEAP 100% SLIP-GUARANTEE Plastic! Damnit. I had really high hopes for this case.
If this doesn't already kill all your hopes and dreams, it makes your phone much more gargantuan. However, I digress, when it comes to drop protection, even though you'll be picking up the two pieces of your case + your phone, I would feel confident that the majority of impact from the initial drop would be absorbed into this case, before it falls apart. Price to protection value is decent at $23 dollars. Note that this case is cheaper now at $19 which increases the appeal of this case if you have a decent grip of your phone at all times.
The final case is the Boxwave OA3 Resolute:
So check this out, I only found this case on accident thanks to Slickdeals.net. I read reviews about boxwave's case for other phones such as the SIII, and I was prepared to be disappointed with this case. But alas, none of those previous problems exist and ironically, I am keeping this case even though its MUCH cheaper than all the other cases I've tried. This case almost looks identical in design to the Ballistics, which is what I think the company was going for. However, it is only one piece of hardened rubber. It fits very snug, and feels great in the hand. It doesn't make the phone as huge as the ballistics case, and I still feel confident that this case will offer a decent amount of drop protection. Another bonus is that it has a kickstand... but don't count on it for very long, because its the cheapest feeling kickstand you'll probably ever see in your life. I can almost bet money that it'll break with regular usage. So enjoy it while it lasts. You definitely cannot beat this case for the price as it was only $10.00 total. Not to mention its all black, no cheap looking white plastic.
I have attached all the photos I took. Sorry I don't have photos of the case on the phone, as I had taken the pictures with the note 2
Hope you found this post helpful.

Thanks!
Thanks for for the pictures. I personally am still waiting on the seidio convert case for the extended battery, I enjoyed the one I had on my thunderbolt. The case I have on my note 2 is the $12 (now $8.95) rugged case from ebay. The case uses the same style of synthetic rubber that the seido case uses and prevents me from dropping the phone. What are you going to do with those left over cases?
Good review, and I do agree with you on every point. While waiting for my UAG case, I'm using right now $7 ebay case (first one in my review link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36730711&highlight=rugged+dual+layer#post36730711) - which is a copy of Seidio Active and also similar to Otterbox Commuter. Commuter has a higher quality inner rubber lining, without a doubt. But Active is exactly the same stuff, or I should say that ebay cheap knockoff is exactly the same design and quality as Active
Btw, the Boxwave one you can get from ebay shipped for about $7. Its not their original design, just a generic ebay case they purchase in bulk from China and sell conveniently for local us shippment.
Thanks for the compliments. I am returning the other cases to amazon for free since I said that they are faulty, lol.
Useful review but I disagree on the ballistics case after going through other reviews and more than enough websites I found the ballistics case was the indeed the case which had the protection. The box said 8-9ft drop so I tested it with a leap faith and the case phone stayed together with no damage and didn't come apart. Also you say slippery wrong again I can apply minimum pressure using my little finger and thumb dry and wet with no slippage. The case is made from decent materials not the stuff you would get from a 5 dollar case which I have been through several. The case offers better screen protection from laying flat on a surface screen down than any case with the added corner protection. The back is non slip also and makes good resting on a slanted surface say a car roof, bonnet or dash board. And with a year warrantee you can't get far wrong. In general its makes the whole overall grip better and nice to the touch. Feels very manly to and with a simplistic look. With the plastic support the case holds firmly all round the note. Down side only two colours black and white, little flimsy top and bottom of screen. Price is fair for the case was 22.99 off eBay stores, cheaper if you get a deal on it.
Amazon gives a 4.5/5 overall for 33 reviews that's pretty good like.

Belt Case Review for Bionic w/ Extended Battery

I know, the phone's pretty dead, and the entire forum's pretty dead...
Still, why not?
I use the Bionic with extended battery, and as a result, finding belt cases for them are... let's say, difficult.
Most belt cases, even those advertised for "large phones", don't fit. (And no, i don't consider holsters to be a proper fit. If they fit, they're VERY tight and/or they don't close properly.
Every once in a while I ran into one that almost fits.
Just the other day I ran into one over at Walmart. It's large, it seems to have a sturday construction and it fits, if a little snug. And it's $20.
Bought it, used it for 3 days... and the belt hook is coming apart already. WTF?!
In contrast the generic case I found in a Chinatown shop for $15 lasted me 6 months.
Right now I'm between a $5 case (with $3 shipping) on Amazon and a $30 + tax case from Best Buy.
The weirdest thing is the case from Best Buy is NOT for the Droid Bionic... But for the iPhone 5 with Mophie Juice Pack. Yes, they come out to be about the same dimension. There's a bit of gap top and bottom of the phone, but the case is snug enough you'll never notice. And it's readily available. The belt hook is so heavy duty it may outlast the case itself.
And the $5 generic case from Amazon... Looks flimsier, but has additional belt loops. Haven't tried it much, but seems to fit quite well.
So just letting people know, if you rock the extended battery, you *can* find belt cases that fit your phone. Really.
the case in this picture looks the same as mine which was the oem upgrade case bought with the phone 2+ years ago by the wife.case still works well. I highly recommend. If it broke tomorrow i would go out and order it again.
http://www.amazon.com/HOLSTER-MOTOR...=1394815152&sr=8-9&keywords=case+droid+bionic
extended battery friendly
Destroyed two of those already. Holster broke in half, kickstand is flimsy and barely lasted a month. Also doesn't protect at all. Drop this and you get 4 pieces... Phone, battery, back cover, and the "case".

Hard shell two piece snap case??

I cant believe I cant find a two piece snap on case for the M8 yet. Well let me correct that, I cant believe I can only find a pink or clear snap on case for the M8.
i.e. http://www.amazon.com/HTC-One-M8-2014-Edition/dp/B00IX2LP5Q
In the past I have always order from:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/luxuarycellwireless
For my HTC EVO 4G LTE I had this case for 2.5 years without a single problem. This was such a great case I have over 10 friends order the same style case for their phones with no issues.
I ordered one case from Amazon that was advertised as this style, but ended up being a TPU case. Just like before, I can not stand the TPU design. Think who ever thought this was a good idea and designed this style case should DIAF.
I have contacted the ebay seller, and they do not know when they are getting a M8 case in yet, they have asked their manufacture to produce, but do not have a delivery time yet.
Please help me find a black, gray case in this style.
I am not sure what you mean by "two-piece" case since this isn't a slider but I got one of those black snap cases with kickstand and hip holster at the Verizon shop for about $30.
I found the one I have on Verizon's website for about $25 simply labelled as "Shell/Holster Combo for HTC One m8". I would post links but I don't have that ability.
I also found a similar one (labelled as a Maxboost All New HTC One m8 Case) on Amazon much cheaper but it looks like the holster blocks the charging and maybe even the headphone ports.
I like the look of this case, looks very protective, but it's still so far away from coming out
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JFIO43W
i really like the poetic cases, but if you want a look like that thats out now, try UAG

By two piece case I mean one where the front "trim ring" if you will, snaps into the back part of the case, so the phone is clam-shelled into the case. The one thing this also provides is more of a lip around the screen, which not only protects the screen better, but also helps me personally when I use keyboards like Slide it or Swipe, as it keeps my palm from hitting the edge of the screen causing letters or enter key to get accidentally hit.
Here is a good example of what I am talking about for a Droid Incredible

Finally shipping.

Just wish there was grey one. But it will be black for now.

Tech21 cases?

Anybody using the tech21 cases commonly found at the tmobile stores?
I searched around and only saw one post, not much else... Any opinions?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/accessories/leather-t3120658/page5 theres a user who posted pic of his leather back phone in it. i should be getting mine by mail from tmo but its one of the few case i know that support the leather back without any issues
Fits very well. Also bought tech21 screen protector and it has a small strip that leaves screen uncovered for case use. Screen protector is smooth as glass but I will warn you it smudges like crazy.
If anyone buy it, could you show me the link? Thanks in advice.
I bought the Tech 21 "EVO Wallet" from the local T-Mobile store for my leather-backed G4. I needed SOMETHING to protect the phone, and that seemed to be the best option that was available in the T-Mobile retail store. It worked okay, but I didn't like the case. The fit was good, and I think it protected the phone pretty well, but I didn't like the fold-over flap. I like to hold my phone one-handed a lot, and the flap just got in the way.
I wound up ordering the Verus THOR case from Amazon for $14.99 with Amazon Prime: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VGZSS9S
I like the Verus case a lot better. It fit very well with my leather-backed G4, and although it doesn't seem as rugged as an OtterBox Defender, it still seems pretty rugged. Unfortunately, the silver color that I picked out doesn't go very well with the brown leather back, so I may be finding a different back once they become available.
Edit: Here's a link to the Tech 21 case I was using: https://www.tech21.com/lg-g4-case-evo-wallet-black.html
I'm using Tech21 Evo Tactical at the moment, waiting for more choices for wireless charging cases.
It fits well and Tmo only charged $20 for it.
